Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 2059 Seventh Disciple, Lu Dongli

Chapter 2059  Seventh Disciple, Lu Dongli

Having earned the trust of Lu Dongli without even realizing how he had done so, Xuan Hao decided to spend the next few minutes going through his intentions of taking her in as a disciple just to be sure everything was fine. Taking the opportunity to also give her a general introduction to the Star Shattering Sect and answering some of the questions she had regarding cultivation and her unique physique.

In the process, outside of giving her a better understanding of the different cultivation realms and what came after the Soul Ascension Realm, as she seemed especially curious about those higher realms, he also answered the most pressing question she had regarding how to solve the cold qi problem that came along with the awakening of her special physique- to which he didn't see any reason to hide anything, as he directly told her that reaching the Celestial Immortal Realm or the Breaking Dawn Realm of the Profound Immortal Realm in the future would be able to solve the problem of her physique.

Of course, because of how willing he had been to answer all her questions along with the friendship that had been established during the short interaction, there was no problem when he officially asked her to be his disciple, as she happily bowed her head in response and respected him as her teacher.

At least that was what he believed, but in reality, the second she had learnt he was an elder figure from a powerful sect that far exceeded anything she had encountered in the past along with also knowing about her unique physique and a way to solve the problem that had been plaguing her for over a hundred years during her time in the illusion that she still believed to be her future if she went down the path she had originally been supposed to go down after stepping onto the path of cultivation without any teacher or senior to guide her.

In fact, even without Xuan Hao showing up, she had already intended to seek out some powerful senior to teach her, though her original plan had been to wait until she reached the Foundation Establishment Realm or the Core Formation Realm so she could at least ensure her own safety during her travels while at the same time move faster than she would have as a mortal who had barely stepped into the Qi Condensation Realm could.

Unaware of any of the other's thoughts regarding how things had played out, both parties were ultimately happy with the outcome of their first official meeting. One managed to get the powerful teacher she wanted to help solve the problem of her unique physique, while the other obtained the disciple he wanted.

Around the same time Xuan Hao successfully managed to take in Lu Dongli as his seventh disciple and only really needed to bring her back to the sect to make it official, far away from the boundaries of the Star Shattering Sect on the border between the Northern Central Region and the Southern Central Region, an older man in his prime frowned ever so slightly as he looked down towards a kneeling person whose head was already hitting the floor in front of him.

"So… Are you saying that both died? Not even able to activate the teleportation talisman in time? Can you tell me how something like this happened?" His mouth opening as an almost expressionless voice echoed throughout the large room, causing the kneeling person to lower himself even further. Not daring to recklessly respond as he understood just how angry the person in front of him truly was.

"No answer? Hmph!" Knowing full well what the person kneeling in front of him was thinking, the older man frowned visibly as part of his presence leaked outwards and began pressing down on the silent person in front of him.

Although he already knew the answer from other messengers that had come before and ended up disappearing mysteriously after delivering this information to him, the person currently kneeling down in front of him was somewhat special as he had a somewhat special identity and was stronger than the other messengers and people who had gone to investigate the situation that had played out.

Even if he wanted to kill this person out of anger, he had no way to do so without any reason… And the other party understood this as well, thus having decided to stay silent after delivering the simple news he had been tasked with obtaining.

Even now, faced with his pressure as someone in the Land Creation Realm, the other party who had only barely stepped into the Early Stage of the Breaking Dawn Realm showed no signs of uttering a single word even as his body began creaking under the terrifying pressure.

"Hmph! Leave, can't keep those back home waiting…" Knowing it was impossible to continue like this as he might accidentally end up killing the other party if he continued, he could ultimately only throw in the towel and allow the other party to run away.

"Thank you, City Lord, this humble one will take his leave and inform the ancestors about the situation accordingly!" Still not relaxed, the other party kept up a respectful appearance as he bowed his head deeply after getting back on his feet before quickly escaping the second he stepped out of the hall. Not even bothering to hide his intention to leave as fast as possible, as he streaked through the sky and soon enough disappeared beyond the horizon.

"Tsk, I was hoping I could use the opportunity to deal with one of that old guy's people." Seeing that there wasn't anyone but his own people around any longer, the older man or city lord could not help muttering to himself.

Not too long ago, he had learnt about the existence of the Star Shattering Sect from the former ancestor of the Blue Sea Empire and the fact that they had someone at the Star Creation Realm overseeing the sect.

Having felt doubtful, he had decided to relay the information back to the force behind him in the Southern Central Region and after weeks of discussion together with a few other major powers who were also interested in the Star Shattering Sect, the choice had been made to send over someone to test out the Star Shattering Sect and assess the overall strength of this ancient hidden sect to see if it did truly possess someone at the Star Creation Realm.

But, given the current chaotic state of the Southern Central Region after one of the major religious forces had essentially been leveled by an ancient hidden sect, no major power was willing to send over anyone at the Star Creation Realm to investigate the situation as everyone was busy fighting for opportunities.

Because of this, it was ultimately decided that one person in Late Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm and one at the Early Stage of the Sea Formation Realm would be sent over, the two belonging to different major powers, while the two teleportation formations had been handed over by the force that the city lord belonged to.

In fact, though the faction behind the city lord didn't lose any powerful cultivators from the fall of those two powerful cultivators, they would likely still end up facing the scrutiny from those two major forces behind them who might be under the belief that they had been set up and given faulty teleportation talismans.

Considering the force behind him did indeed think about using this chance to weaken the power of these two neighboring major powers, it wasn't wrong for these two sides to feel suspicious. The problem was, they hadn't intentionally sabotaged them. Knowing that doing so would put them in a rather precarious situation given how most of their forces had joined the fight for opportunities at the ruins of the ancient religious organization that had been flattened.

The entire situation was far from optimal and he, as the one who brought this information, was bound to bear some of the blame for what had ended up happening.

Pushing the blame on the little one who had just run away was something he had attempted but had ultimately failed at as the other party understood full well what he intended to do.

Finding the two ancestors from the now fallen Blue Sea Empire and placing the blame on the two of them was also something he had thought about doing, as without them, there was no way this kind of information would have reached him.

But… Those two from the Blue Sea Empire were by no means weak, one at the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm while the other had reached the Early Stage of the Land Creation Realm.

If anything, another way out of his current situation would be if he managed to recruit those two into joining him, as the old ancestor of the Blue Sea Empire was someone the ancestors behind him already had their eyes on recruiting for a long time as he had real potential for reaching the Star Creation Realm with their assistance. An existence who would instantly be able to elevate the strength of his faction and make up for any potential losses.
