Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 2210: Passing Days Teaching

Chapter 2210: Passing Days Teaching

Going through the status of his disciples, he noted that he didn’t obtain any rewards from the system after his Chu Yang had broken through to the Intermediate Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm. Meaning he would most likely have to wait until one of his disciples broke through to the Dao Seed Realm or charted a new cultivation path like Mui had done, before he would obtain any new rewards from the system.

Feeling a bit disappointed by this revelation, as part of him had hoped that each stage within the Dao Domain Lord Realm would allow him to reap a reward from the system given just how vast the difference between each of the stages within the Dao Domain Lord Realm. "Haaa... No free rewards nor any new quests. How unfortunate..." Muttering this to himself as he gazed back down at the ancient teleportation formation that had long since broken apart, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that part of the reason why he had decided to investigate those ancient teleportation formations had to do with him hoping to trigger a system quest.

From start to finish, he wasn’t really worried about the safety of the winged lion demon beast. Confidant that it would be able to at least keep itself safe even if it had ended up being teleported somewhere far away from the Star Shattering Sect’s territory.

If anything, he had a feeling it would just find somewhere to laze around after realizing it would be too difficult to get back on its own. Deciding that the best course of action was to laze around waiting for rescue... And it wasn’t entirely wrong in thinking Xuan Hao would come and pick it up, as he had indeed planned to go look for it if he didn’t need to worry about a meeting with the Myriad Treasure Hall in another few days.

Now that he had to worry about said meeting, he could only delay setting off to find the winged lion demon beast. Soon enough, setting off from the small cave that the broken-down ancient teleportation formation before him was located. Making his way back to the sect where he intended on spending the last few days before the senior member of the Myriad Treasure Hall showed up.

At the very least, he had more than enough things to busy himself with, as most of his disciples were currently at the sect and would be more than happy to receive some guidance from him. Especially Lu Dongli, who had been looking for him to get a better understanding of the cloud tribulation she had to face while breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm.

Understandalby wanting to cultivate as fast as possible with the icy qi from her physique threatening her life in case she advanced too slowly and lost the ability to resist the icy qi and ended up turning into an ice sculpture like she had done in the illusion her master had placed her in before accepting her as a disciple.

Of course, Lu Dongli had no idea it had been an illusion and was still under the firm belief that it was a past life and that she had reincarnated into the past. Working even harder. Not wanting to redo her past mistake and end up perishing like she had ended up doing within the illusion.

Returning to the sect with this in mind, he didn’t return to his cultivation room and instead went to find Lu Dongli. Not taking long to find her deep in meditation on her own. Doing her best to try and improve her strength. Forced to wait around for a few minutes before she left meditation on her own and discovered his presence. After which she didn’t hesitate and rushed over filled with excitement.

Knowing the reason behind the excitement, he didn’t waste any time and quickly dove into the mysteries of the Nascent Soul Realm and the dangers of the cloud tribulation after she calmed down a bit. Teaching her what she needed to know before attempting her breakthrough, along with ways to ensure her foundation was stable when she attempted to push past the bottleneck.

From the first day since his return to the sect, he ended up finding all his time being used on helping Lu Dongli along with Li Chi and Bai Ning, who both came by from time to time during the days leading up to the arrival of the elder from the Myriad Treasure Hall, a fact that also cause Li Chi and Bai Ning to grow closer with one another as fellow disciples.

Both, not being the fastest when it came to cultivation, ended up bonding over this along with the fact that Li Chi was incredibly knowledgeable when it came to the different things stored within the sect’s treasury. Allowing him to share some of the more obscure things that the sect had stored away within the treasury that could be useful to a blacksmith like Bai Ning... And surprisingly enough, this did end with Bai Ning finding a valuable spirit metal that had been overlooked in the past, causing the two to grow even closer with one another, as Li Chi promised to share any new information on unique treasures entering the sect treasury with him, while Bai Ning promised to create a suitable artifact for him in the future.

In a way, though the two of them also came seeking him out for help over the few days leading up to the arrival of the elder from the Myriad Treasure Hall, they ended up spending more time chatting with one another than him. Leading to most of his focus ended up on Lu Dongli who was more than eager to listen to him.

By the time he sensed the presence of a powerful being approaching the Star Shattering Sect, Li Chi and Bai Ning had spent less than an hour with him, while the rest of his time had been spent helping Lu Dongli. Even now that he sensed the presence of this powerful being that should be the elder from the Myriad Treasure Hall, Li Chi and Bai Ning were off searching the treasury for new unique spiritual metals and other blacksmithing materials, while he was helping guide Lu Dongli.

"I’m sorry, but it looks like we will have to stop today’s lesson for now, I have something to do, I hope you can go through what we went over this time around and try to apply it during your cultivation"

"Yes...!"

"Good, then I will get going." Seeing the somewhat disappointed look on her face as he said, he didn’t wait around for her to leave and directly left in the direction of the powerful being that had just entered the borders of the Star Shattering Sect.

After all, though he guessed it to be the elder from the Myriad Treasure Hall, there was a very real chance that this wasn’t the elder from the Myriad Treasure Hall but instead another troublemaker. In which case he would have to deal with it immediately before the other party could do any real damage to the Star Shattering Sect’s territory.

The only reason why he had even lingered around for a few seconds to inform Lu Dongli about the end of the lesson, was because he hadn’t sensed the other party using his or her power to attack anything within the sect’s borders yet. Giving him some time to see off his disciple before he set off to meet this powerful figure, who from what he could tell, had reached the Land Creation Realm.

And not just the Early Stage of the Land Creation Realm, but someone at the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm that had already formed an inner world, a realm that nobody among the different major powers throughout the Northern Central Region had reached.

A realm that could normally only be found within the Southern Central Region or the different ancient hidden sects scattered throughout the continent.

Of course, there was also the Western Central Region, but given the fact that his knowledge on that place was lacking and they followed a completely different cultivation path compared to the traditional immortal cultivation path he was familiar with, he had no real idea just how powerful those monks were outside of the fact that even major powers from the Southern Central Region didn’t dare to recklessly engage with them.

Whoosh~

Emerging in the air close to the borders of the sect that connected to the now fallen Blue Sea Empire and the neutral territory that was no partial under the sect’s control through the neutral powers from the region, Xuan Hao found his gaze travelling across the vast stretch of empty sky before landing on a small flying vessel that had visibly come to a stop in the air following his arrival.

A simple glance was all that was needed for him to tell that this was the flying vessel belonging to the powerful figure he had sensed all the way back in the sect just now.
