Chapter 1311 - 585: Immortal Realm Clans
"Okay, I also feel there’s something wrong with this copper mirror."
Medicine Spirit heard his words and followed suit, speaking.
With furrowed brows, he clearly had long had an opinion about this copper mirror.
Ning Qi then looked around and eventually found a deserted place, where he carved out a cave dwelling.
He directly entered the cave dwelling.
Then he opened his Sumeru Space, and upon entering, he immediately took out the copper mirror.
Looking at the copper mirror before him, Ning Qi furrowed his brows and finally placed the copper mirror right in front of him.
He then reminded Medicine Spirit, saying, "Be careful. My Divine Soul is going to explore inside. If I don’t show any reaction in the real world for more than two hours."
"You must use my Chaos Sword to directly cut off this copper mirror!"
"Understood, master. Go in without worry!"
Medicine Spirit nodded and then focused attention on the Chaos Sword beside him.
"Alright!"
Ning Qi nodded and then sat cross-legged, gathered his Divine Sense, and then merged directly into his copper mirror.
"Whew!"
After a gust of wind, Ning Qi completely entered the world inside this copper mirror.
To his surprise, upon entering the mirror, it wasn’t the mere copper wall he had imagined.
Everywhere was clear mountains and green water, birds singing and flowers blooming.
It was just like the real world, with no sense of being inside a copper mirror.
Ning Qi looked at the environment around him and then focused his attention forward.
Ahead, he suddenly noticed a fluctuation of Spiritual Qi.
"Is it here?"
Ning Qi turned his attention forward and abruptly leapt forward.
He flew straight ahead.
During his journey, Ning Qi continuously spread his Divine Sense and began exploring ahead.
Yet, to his puzzlement, the scope of his exploration here was limited.
Only a few hundred meters around, nowhere comparable to the outside world.
In the outside world, he could use his Divine Sense to explore at least several thousand feet.
"Divine Sense is restricted here."
Ning Qi sighed, turning his attention forward again.
Ahead, he could already see a shimmering light.
It seemed like a sect’s main hall; this was evidently the dome of the sect’s hall.
Ning Qi was puzzled, but still dashed toward it.
As he approached, he finally discovered what this place was.
Indeed, he was right; this was a sect.
However, it was already in ruins. The main hall was the only structure left nearly intact.
Looking forward, he saw the place cut open by Sword Qi.
This Sword Qi had sliced several thousand feet long and over a hundred feet deep.
"Who could possess such powerful strength?"
"This... must be above Heavenly Immortal level. If it were me, I definitely couldn’t achieve such destructive power!"
Ning Qi looked at the scene before him, muttering to himself, "When can I reach such strength?"
He pondered and then leapt up, quickly soaring over the mountain gate to inspect the situation.
Everywhere were remains, of Spirit Beasts and humans alike.
Without exception, all were slain in this final battle.
Among them were some robes different from those of the disciples here.
Clearly their enemies, as their bodies lay equally dead.
It was evident that both sides did not have it easy in that battle, though in the end, they still lost.
"They must have lost due to the destructive power of this Sword."
Ning Qi looked at everything before him, ultimately refocusing on the Sword Qi before him, "If this were in the Sea of Realms, this sword would likely cut through the Black Water Region of the Sea of Realms."
He examined the Sword Qi, then regained his focus, continuing onward.
He searched around once more, finally landing before the grand hall.
On the plaza stood a silhouette.
Unfortunately, it was already a skeleton, yet still stood tall here.
Upright for all these years without falling, it attracted Ning Qi’s attention.
He approached it, gazing at the skeleton once more.
From the skeleton, one could still sense the desolate death of the past.
After a glance, Ning Qi showed no intent to move it, rather he shifted his focus to the grand hall ahead.
He turned and entered the hall, which, though devoid of its former glory.
The grand architecture and luxurious interior still conveyed the prosperity of its past.
Further in was a chair.
As he stepped forward, he examined the chair, reaching out to touch it.
Dust stained his finger.
"What a pity."
Ning Qi surveyed the place, then said, "So, where did the people I brought in go?"
"They can’t have been swallowed by someone here, could they?"
He voiced his self-talk, then left the grand hall once again.
He headed toward the back mountain of the mountain gate.
Everything here gave him an icy feeling, yet he did not retreat, instead focusing on the back mountain.
Descending the mountain, he arrived at the back mountain, where he saw numerous bodies.
These bodies remained intact, showing no signs of decay after all these years.
