Chapter 2359 The Demonic Realm
Chapter 2359 The Demonic Realm
After sealing away one of the demons, Yuan calmly asked the remaining two, "Do you know of the name Divine Paragon?"
"Divine who?"
The demons looked at him with raised eyebrows, appearing genuinely puzzled by the name.
"..."
'How long has passed since I came here as Tian Chenyu?' Yuan wondered inwardly.
"What about the Demon Sealing Clan?" he continued to ask.
"Those bastards? They were annihilated many billions of years ago!" Yuan's eyes narrowed at this information.
"Who is the current Supreme Ruler?"
"That… we cannot tell you since the Supreme Ruler has changed several times, even before we were tossed into the Deprived Crimson Valley," said the demon.
"And we've been in here for at least a hundred million years."
Yuan pondered for a moment, trying to recall a certain name.
Then, he asked in a slow but clear voice, "Do you know of a demon named Dena?"
"D-Dena?" The two demons' expressions immediately twisted with surprise.
"Supreme Ruler Dena! Now that's a name I haven't heard in forever!" One of the demons laughed out loud. "You're lucky that you uttered that name while inside the Deprived Crimson Valley, you Sealer. Had you uttered that forbidden name outside of this place, you would've been slaughtered on sight," remarked the other demon.
Their words caused Yuan's eyebrows to raise with puzzlement.
Supreme Ruler Dena was one of the most powerful demons in the Demonic Realm, who ruled more than half of this realm when he visited as Tian Chenyu. How did such a powerful being become a forbidden subject, to the point where just uttering it would be a death sentence?
"What happened to her?" Yuan then asked.
"Seriously, where did you come from to not know even common sen—"
The demon who just spoke quickly covered his mouth after realizing his mistake.
"W-Wait! That was by accident—"
Without hesitation, Yuan sealed the demon.
Now, there was just one demon left.
Yuan turned to look at him, who swallowed nervously before responding, "Supreme Ruler Dena suddenly went crazy one day and went on a rampage, burning many cities to the ground and killing countless innocent people. Because of her actions, she was branded as a 'Forsaken' and exiled to the Deprived Crimson Valley."
"A Forsaken…" Yuan muttered.
It was a term he knew all too well. Only demons who had lost their reason—those unable to control their hunger and bloodlust—were given such a title. The Deprived Crimson Valley was where these Forsaken and criminals were exiled, abandoned, and left to be forgotten.
"So, Supreme Ruler Dena is currently in the Deprived Crimson Valley, huh?" he mumbled out loud to himself.
The demon nodded, "It's been several billion years since she was exiled, but it's not like anyone can execute that monster, so she should still be here. In the deepest part, the Final Valley, that is."
"Is there anything else you want to know? If not, I'd like you to release me. I swear I won't attack you again, and I am not a Forsaken, either."
Yuan glanced at him before asking, "Why were you exiled to this place?"
The demon suddenly fell silent as a heavy expression shaped his face. After a moment of silence, he spoke in a low voice, "My family was starving because of my lack of capabilities, so I stole some food as a desperate measure. Turns out I stole from the wrong bastard, and he executed my entire family in front of me as punishment. I went into a frenzy after witnessing that and attacked that bastard, who turned out to be a noble."
"..."
Yuan listened in silence, his expression blank.
In the Demonic Realm, only demons existed. However, they were nothing like the bloodthirsty, cruel beings that once terrorized the Nine Heavens. The demons here were no different from ordinary humans—capable of reason, restraint, and emotion.
This was something the Divine Paragon, Tian Chenyu, had quickly realized when he first arrived in the Demonic Realm, and it had shaken him to his core.
Despite his deep-seated hatred for demons and his unwavering resolve to exterminate them all, he found himself in an unexpected dilemma after learning the truth about the demons of this realm.
"What about those two?" Yuan asked as his gaze darted between the two demons he'd sealed.
"They… they're also being punished for offending noble demons," he sighed.
"Is that so?" Just as Yuan was about to make his move, several more powerful presences flared into existence, rapidly closing in on their location.
Sensing this, Yuan let out a quiet sigh.
"I forgot… I need to completely mask my presence while I'm here…"
In an instant, Yuan activated Shadow Veil, his aura vanishing as though he had never existed.
But it was too late. His position had already been locked onto, and the approaching presences continued to close in without hesitation.
Five demons appeared in just seconds, and they surrounded Yuan.
"Food! How long has it been since I last tasted meat?!"
Seeing this, the demon within Yuan's Demon Sealing Aura hastily warned them, "I wouldn't offend him if I were you! He's a Sealer!"
"Haha! Sealer?! What kind of nonsense is that? They're long gone!"
"Are you fucking blind?! Look at the two stone statues beside me!" The demons froze when they finally noticed the sealed demons, which they initially thought were just strangely shaped rocks.
Yet, despite the evidence right before their eyes, they refused to believe it.
Even though they had no explanation for the situation before them, these new demons were starving and couldn't care less. In the end, they all attacked Yuan.
Of course, Yuan, who was protected by the Demon Sealing Aura, instantly sealed the five of them.
After sealing the demons, Yuan calmly turned to look at the remaining demon and asked, "Which way is it to the Final Valley?"
The demon looked at him with a dumbfounded face.
"The Final Valley?! Are you trying to meet Supreme Ruler Dena? That's a death wish even for you!" he exclaimed.
