"Are you really determined to go to the Ninth Valley?" The True God suddenly spoke when Yuan and Lev prepared to depart.

"That's right. Why? You wanna come with us?" Yuan asked.

The True God fell silent for a moment before nodding, "I still have questions that need to be answered, so I'll follow you for a bit. I also want to see if the situation in the Ninth Valley has gotten any better or worse."

"If you want to follow us, go ahead," said Yuan.

"By the way, do you have a name?"

"You can call me Duk."

"Duck, huh," Yuan repeated, unaware that he'd misheard the name. Yet, he wasn't corrected.

They started making their way towards the Ninth Valley together shortly after.

Over the next several days, they sensed the presence of multiple True Gods. However, most of them didn't even bother approaching, and those who did suddenly turned back halfway for some reason.

"Thanks for sending them away, Senior." Lev suddenly said to Duk.

"What?" However, Duk wore a puzzled look on his face before calmly responding, "I didn't do anything."

"Then why did those True Gods turn around midway?"

Duk turned to look at Yuan and replied, "Probably because of the unfathomable aura he exudes when they get too close."

"What?" Lev shifted his gaze to Yuan. "I haven't sensed anything unusual from him, though."

"So you cannot sense that crazy aura, huh?" Duk muttered, sounding like he had just acquired new information.

This was the main reason he had decided to follow Yuan. He wanted to learn more about Eternal Essence. Yet even with his vast experience, he found himself unable to comprehend it, almost as if it were something he was never meant to understand.

As for the other True Gods, although they couldn't understand what they sensed from Yuan, their instincts screamed at them to retreat, and so they did.

About a month later, a True God who didn't fear Yuan's Eternal Essence went to block his path.

"It's a Forsaken," Duk warned Yuan. "I doubt you'll need any help, but if you do…"

"Thanks for the offer, but I'll be fine."

Yuan approached the Forsaken with a calm expression.

However, instead of attacking, the Forsaken questioned with a frown on his face, "A mere first-level False God? How did you acquire that power?" "What power are you referring to?" Yuan asked, pretending not to know what the Forsaken was talking about.

"Don't act dumb! That aura surrounding you… That's the Demon God's powers!" The Forsaken roared.

"What?"

Not just Duk, but even Yuan was surprised by the Forsaken's claims.

"The Demon God? What the hell are you talking about?"

Rather than Yuan, it was Duk who stepped forward and questioned.

"I will not ask you again! How and where did you acquire that power!" The Forsaken completely ignored Duk and glared at Yuan with an unwavering gaze. "If you won't tell me, I'll kill you and obtain it for myself!"

A provocative smile tugged at Yuan's lips as he beckoned, "If you think you have what it takes, come get it."

Despite Yuan's blatant provocation, the Forsaken hesitated, as if weighing its decision. However, in the end, it chose to attack.

Seeing this, Yuan didn't hesitate to use Eternal Essence to fight back.

While this Forsaken was weaker than Mov, he was clearly cautious of Yuan's Eternal Essence and fought carefully instead of attacking recklessly.

It was a sight Yuan would rarely see, as most Forsaken he had faced would attack without hesitation, confident in their overwhelming regeneration and immorality.

However, in the Demonic Realm, demons were not as invincible and could be killed by other demons, hence why they were not as reckless.

"How are you going to kill me when you're too afraid to even come near me?!" Yuan mocked the Forsaken, even laughing at it.

But the Forsaken remained cautious.

"You want this power, don't you? Well, come get it!" Yuan provoked it by unleashing even more Eternal Essence.

When the Forsaken sensed the overwhelming amount of Eternal Essence radiating from Yuan, its expression suddenly went blank.

In the next instant, it charged at Yuan like a wild beast, as if it had lost all reasoning.

"Whoa!" Yuan hadn't expected his plan to be so effective, especially since he was only trying it out.

"Give it to me! The Demon God's power!" The Forsaken shouted as it charged at Yuan.

Yuan activated his Demon Sealing Techniques, restricting the Forsaken's movements before striking with the Demon Devouring Sword.

The Forsaken, who had seemingly lost all reason, was killed in the very next moment.

Both Duk and Lev stared at Yuan with bewildered expressions, but it wasn't because of his overwhelming prowess. Rather, it was because of his Eternal Essence, which had been associated with the Demon God by the Forsaken.

In the Demonic Realm, it was commonly believed that all demons were born from the Demon God, an omnipotent existence.

Yuan looked at him in the eyes and said, "I know you want to learn how to use this power, but unfortunately, it's not something you can learn to wield."

"How can you be so sure when I haven't even tried?!" Duk exclaimed, refusing to believe that it was something he couldn't wield.
