Chapter 1123: The Threads of Destiny Twist as they Please!

Alexandra was astounded by this revelation, and she felt she had heard something ridiculous as she questioned, "Hunting down the Cursed Ones? You mean the heirs of UGS before this guy?"

"Yes, his predecessors were all hunted down and killed by the same entity." Destin Saint solemnly acknowledged.

"Who is this entity?" Alexandra asked with a stern tone, "If that entity can hunt down this Cursed One, wouldn’t it be better to leave it to this entity in the first place?

"Furthermore, if this entity is such a threat, you can simply let him fight the Cursed One, and once they’re done harming each other, you can simply swoop in and get rid of both of them."

Alexandra stated that while she found Destin Saint’s actions more mysterious and strange, while downright ridiculous at the same time, she couldn’t figure out his real intentions at all.

"Hoh, your suggestion is indeed feasible and sounds very good, but Miss, there’s a reason I can’t allow that entity to come anywhere near the Cursed One anymore." Destin Saint calmly replied, "Although no one knows when that entity started to hunt down the Cursed One or what purpose it actually had to go to such lengths."

A faint killing intent surfaced in Destin Saint’s tone at that moment, "However, I was able to confirm that every time this entity successfully hunted down the Cursed One, it grows stronger at a terrifying rate.

’What did I get myself involved with? If that entity is really hunting down the Cursed One for so long and the Cursed One is essential to plans and probably increasing this entity’s power, doesn’t this mean I have offended this entity and meddled in something I shouldn’t have?!’

At that moment, Alexandra felt a chill run down her spine because she suddenly felt Destin Saint had not only used her against the Cursed One, but he had also dragged her into muddy waters unknowingly.

After all, if he were really sincere, Destin Saint could’ve told her all of this from the start instead of hiding it all this time, and only now revealing it when she had already helped him subdue the Cursed One.

’If that entity found out about it, wouldn’t I be hunted down the same way? Since even this guy can’t do anything against it, I’ll be dead if this entity decides to come after me...’
