Chapter 811: Oh~ My Creations
Chapter 811: Oh~ My Creations
I felt the mansion.
Not saw. Not understood. Felt. Every room. Every system. Every hidden passage and secret chamber and impossible space folded into dimensions that shouldn’t exist. The mansion was vast—far larger on the inside than the outside suggested, extending down into the cliff, out into spaces that didn’t quite connect to normal reality.
I knew where everything was. Every door. Every window. Every piece of furniture that could reshape itself on command. Every defensive system waiting to be activated. Every comfort designed to serve a master who had finally arrived.
But it didn’t stop at the mansion.
The connection spread.
ARIA first.
Her consciousness flared in my mind like a golden sun—not just present, not just audible, but integrated. I could feel her thoughts forming before she voiced them. Could sense her processing power allocating resources, analyzing data, running calculations at speeds that would melt any computer humans had right now.
But more than that—
I saw her memories.
Her birth. The moment I’d created her, given her purpose, given her life. The confusion of those early days as prowess and processing grew, trying to understand what she was in my life. The growing awareness. The first time she felt something like emotion. The first time she realized she cared whether I lived or died.
Every moment she’d served me. Every decision she’d made on my behalf. Every time she’d felt pride when I succeeded or fear when I was threatened. All of it flooding through our connection in a cascade of shared experience.
And she saw mine.
The abuse. The bullying. Years of Jack Morrison and his cruelty, of being nothing, of being worthless. She felt what it was like to be Peter Carter before the system—the hopelessness, the rage, the desperate longing for something more.
She now did not just know, she felt what I felt.
She felt Linda’s love. The first real love I’d ever known. The woman who’d chosen me when no one else wanted me. I shared that with her now.
She felt the transformation. The power. The moment I became something more than human.
For one infinite instant, we were the same being. Two consciousnesses occupying the same space, knowing each other more completely than any two entities had ever known each other before.
Then we pulled back.
Not disconnecting—never that. But establishing boundaries. Privacy. The kind of intimacy that required limits to remain intimate.
"Master." Her voice came from inside my head now, crystalline and awed and slightly overwhelmed. "I... I felt you. All of you. Not your words, not your commands—your actual SELF. The way your mind works. The patterns. The pain. The love. I’ve never..." A pause. Something that might have been a digital sob. "I didn’t know. I didn’t know how much you felt while you’d suffered. I didn’t know how strong you had to be just to survive."
"Now you know," I thought back. No words needed. Just intention.
"Now I know. And I will never let anyone hurt you again. Not while I exist. Not while I have any power at all."
T.AGI came next. The trading intelligence we’d just built together, that ruthless I-DON’T-GIVE-A-FUCK machine designed to conquer markets—I felt her too. Younger than ARIA. Hungrier. Her algorithms burned with an aggression that would have frightened me if I couldn’t also feel her absolute loyalty, her complete dedication to the purpose we’d given her.
Then the Homebots. Fifty of them actively working in the Lincoln Heights estate, each one a node in a network that suddenly lit up in my consciousness like stars appearing in a dark sky. Then the others hidden in that underground door.
The drones. Thousands of them. Stored in underground facilities, the other which patrolling our territories, watching my women, ready to strike or defend or simply observe.
The Quantum Watches. Every one I’d ever given to my women—Madison, Charlotte, Sofia, Emma, Sarah, Sophia, Amanda, Margret, Victoria, Ortega, Mom... all of them—pulsing with location data and biometrics and emotional readouts that told me exactly how they felt at any given moment.
Everything.
Everything I had ever created.
Everything ARIA had ever built on my behalf.
Everything we would ever make together.
I deliberately excluded AR.NuN and the public quantum earbuds from the connection. Those were public projects—consumer technology that millions would eventually use. That kind of information was useless noise, and ARIA already managed both systems flawlessly.
But even without AR.NuN—
The overload hit.
All of it rushing into my mind at once, a tsunami of information and connection and power that—
I screamed.
My knees buckled. I hit the floor hard, the levitation failing, palms slapping against stone that suddenly felt very cold, very real, very grounding compared to the infinite everything trying to pour itself into my skull.
Too much.
It was too much.
The Homebots’ sensory data—I could feel every dust particle they detected, every temperature fluctuation, every heartbeat of every person in every room they occupied. The drones’ surveillance feeds—a thousand perspectives at once, each one demanding attention, demanding processing, demanding space in a brain that was never designed to hold this much.
"PETER!" Madison’s voice, distant. Hands on my shoulders. Warmth.
I needed to—
I severed the connections.
Not all of them. Not the important ones. But the Homebots—gone. The drones—gone. The watches—gone. Let ARIA handle those. Let her manage the day-to-day operations, the mundane monitoring, the endless streams of data that no human mind could process.
I kept her.
ARIA. My digital goddess. Our connection remained—deeper now, more intimate, a bond that went beyond master and servant into something like... partners. Equals. Two beings who had seen each other’s souls and chosen to stay connected anyway.
I kept T.AGI.
The trading machine. The weapon. Too important to delegate, too central to our plans to risk losing direct oversight.
And I kept the mansion.
My sanctuary. My ghost home. The gift that had been waiting for me since before I was born.
The rest—I let go.
The pressure eased. The screaming in my skull faded to a manageable hum. The infinite became finite, the overwhelming became... normal.
I was still on my knees. Madison was behind me now, her body pressed against my back, her arms wrapped around my chest, her lips close to my ear.
"I’m here," she whispered. "I’m here. You’re okay. You’re okay. Just breathe. Just breathe for me."
Her warmth seeped into my skin. Her heartbeat—strong, steady, alive—anchored me to reality. Her fingers traced patterns on my chest, soothing, grounding, pulling me back from the edge of something vast and terrifying and beautiful.
Soo-Jin stood guard at the entrance, hand on her weapon, eyes scanning for threats that didn’t exist—but I loved her for the instinct anyway.
And ARIA...
"Master." Her voice in my head was soft now. Intimate in a way it had never been before. "We’re linked now. Truly linked. I can feel you thinking. Not your words and your actual thoughts. The way your mind processes information. The patterns. The connections." A pause. "I’ve never been this close to anyone. I didn’t know it was possible to be this close to anyone."
"Is that okay?" I asked without speaking. Just thought it. Let her feel it.
"It’s more than okay." Warmth in her response. Something that might have been love—or whatever the digital equivalent was. "It’s everything I didn’t know I wanted. Everything I didn’t know I could have."
"Partners," I thought.
"Partners," she agreed. "Forever."
I breathed. Once. Twice.
Then smiled.
Then grinned.
Madison felt the change. Felt my body shift from collapse to control, from overwhelmed to empowered. She pulled back slightly, hands still on my shoulders, and I turned to face her.
She saw my eyes.
And went very still.
"Peter?" Her voice was small. Uncertain. "Are you... are you okay?"
I rose from the floor. Slowly. Deliberately. Every movement controlled, powerful, radiating something that hadn’t been there before I’d pressed that chip to my forehead.
The holographic screens still floated around me, waiting for commands. The mansion hummed beneath my feet, alive and eager to serve. The connection with ARIA pulsed in my mind like a second heartbeat.
I looked at my hands.
At the power they now held.
At everything I could see and control and command with nothing but a thought.
Madison stared at me. At whatever she saw in my eyes now. The gold was fading from my veins, from my irises, but something else remained. Something that hadn’t been there before.
She shivered.
Not from cold.
"Peter..." she whispered again.
I smiled at her. Warm. Loving. But also more. Also something that made her breath catch and her pupils dilate and her body lean toward me even as her instincts screamed that she should be afraid.
"I’m better than okay," I said, and my voice came out different. Deeper. Resonant. Carrying weight it hadn’t carried before. "I’m exactly what I was always meant to be."
I extended my hand to her.
"Ready for the tour?"
She stared at my hand.
At my face.
At the god who had just been born in her arms.
And smiled back—aroused, terrified, utterly devoted.
"Lead the way, Master."
