Chapter 1009: Preparing for Battle

After Keli discovered the Chaos Realm compass had failed, she didn't tell this to anyone else.

The Chaos Realm compass had been in use for so many years, and currently all the wizards staying in the Chaos Realm had been sent in with Saul's permission. But if they knew they could never leave the Chaos Realm again, would they have other thoughts?

Keli wasn't very familiar with most people, so trust was limited.

But Keli told Shaya about this matter.

"Haven't contacted him?" Keli's eyes rolled halfway around—she knew what to do. "Help me call Brando, Ann, and Noah over. We have things to do next."

Keli called all the wizards together and informed everyone about temporarily being unable to enter or exit the Chaos Realm.

Brando was the first to frown. He paced back and forth with his hands behind his back for two steps, then walked up to Keli. "Can you let me try that magical tool you use to enter the Chaos Realm?"

Keli hesitated for a moment, but still took out the compass from her pocket and placed it in Brando's large hand wearing iron gauntlets.

Having seen Keli use the Chaos Realm compass, Brando knew roughly how to operate it.

He carefully opened the compass and tried it himself.

The Chaos Realm compass had no reaction at all.

Brando fiddled with it himself for a while, gained nothing, and prepared to return the compass to Keli.

Keli raised her chin. "You others should try it too. This is a spatial tool. We don't have much achievement in spatial magic, but maybe someone can happen to repair the compass?"

So the Chaos Realm compass went to Shaya's hands. After all, he was the other third-rank wizard here.

Ann raised her hand and threw out something like spider silk, directly sticking it to the person, then pulled them in.

"What is it?" Ann said coldly.

Usually, these Chaos Realm residents didn't dare come over without being summoned by wizards. To come over so excitedly now, there must be a very important discovery.

The man who was pulled over caught his breath twice before clutching his chest and saying, "Several lords, something happened at the great rift. The people working down there, they, they've all gone mad!"

Keli stood up with a "whoosh." "We're going over. Noah and Ann, you stay up here to calm the ordinary people."

Noah had just managed to nod when he saw the three wizards shoot straight into the sky, draw an arc, and fall into the nearby great rift.

But the three had just gone down for a short while when they suddenly flew back up from the rift and landed beside Noah.

"What happened?" Seeing the serious expressions of the three, Noah asked uneasily.

Keli looked at the two others, her expression still ugly. She slowly spoke, "Anchor point monsters have appeared in the rift."

Ann was shocked and asked, "What? How is that possible? Were they dug up?"

Brando shook his head. "It doesn't seem like it. We've already explored the entire great rift and confirmed that besides normal bone monsters, there were no other mutated creatures inside."

"These monsters should have run over from the other side." Keli said with a cold face.

She roughly knew why the Chaos Realm had been sealed.

She also roughly guessed why Saul had them act like they hadn't contacted him.

So this was those people's real purpose? Seal the Chaos Realm, then use anchor point monsters to catch them all in one net?

Shaya stole glances at Keli, preparing to see what she wanted to do.

Keli didn't consider for very long before clapping her hands to decide. "These monsters should have come prepared, but fortunately, we're not completely unprepared either. The bone army has trained for so many days—shouldn't it come in handy at this moment?"

Keli looked around at everyone. "Before we know when the Chaos Realm passage will be restored, we need to start using magic power carefully."

Saul had started moving magic crystals to the Chaos Realm very early, just in case one day the people here would need to use large amounts of magic crystals. And today they would come in handy.
