Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1231 Meeting

Chapter 1231  Meeting

"What are you thinking?" Blob asked when he noticed Max standing silently, lost in deep thought. The spirit's tone carried a hint of concern, but he did not press further.

"Nothing," Max replied with a quiet sigh. His mind was still weighed down by the truth he had learned, but he pushed it aside for now. "Let's get out of here."

With a simple gesture of his hand, he summoned the Dimension of Spirit and sent Blob back into it. Once Blob vanished into the spiritual space, Max turned his gaze toward the horizon. His eyes narrowed slightly, and in the next breath, he took off, shooting through the air like a streak of light.

As he flew, the red sky slowly faded behind him. His thoughts drifted to the time he had spent in the endless chaos with Old Man First. To him, it had felt like months—long, drawn-out weeks filled with profound insights and mysteries of time. Logically, that should have been enough for Victor, Seraphina, Chris, and Christine, the ones chosen by the other six lords, to return to Acaris as well.

If the flow of time was the same, they should have already regrouped.

With that in mind, Max headed straight for the Four God Nation.

He flew at full speed, cutting through the air and crossing vast distances in moments. The familiar landscapes beneath him passed by quickly until at last he reached the grand square of the Four God Nation. The moment he arrived, he stopped midair and took in the scene below.

The square was filled with people—hundreds of them. Divine Rank geniuses from across the Middle Domain stood gathered together, their auras bright and powerful. They seemed to have arrived recently, judging from the unsettled energy around them and the hushed conversations that spread through the crowd.

Max's eyes narrowed thoughtfully.

'I guess I didn't spend as much time in the endless chaos as I thought,' he mused. 'It seems I arrived almost at the same time as the others who were chosen.'

He had believed that he spent months in the endless chaos with Old Man First. The slow, heavy flow of time, the drawn-out conversations, the endless silence—it all gave that impression.

But unknown to Max, Old Man First had accelerated the time in that region, bending the flow so that days stretched into what felt like months. Despite feeling as though he had stayed there for a long time, only a few weeks had passed in the outside world.

Arriving at the square, Max's gaze immediately shifted toward the very center of the Four God Nation. His senses spread out instinctively, and within moments he detected several familiar auras clustered together—Victor, Seraphina, Chris, Christine, and many others chosen by the six lords. Their presence told him he had indeed returned at the right time.

"Max is finally here!"

The shout came from one of the younger geniuses, and in an instant dozens of eyes turned toward him. The crowd of Divine Rank geniuses straightened with excitement. Many of them looked at Max with something close to admiration. His performance within the secret domain had shook them to the core. They had thought themselves talented, but Max had shown them a level of strength that felt unreachable. His arrival brought a wave of energy across the square.

The elders, in contrast, wore solemn expressions. Several of them stepped forward and approached Max with respectful nods. Their gazes were steady, but the tension behind their eyes was unmistakable.

"There is a meeting going on," one of the elders said politely. "We request your presence."

Max could already sense the dense concentration of powerful auras gathered in the heart of the nation. He nodded lightly. "I understand."

But before heading there, he turned his attention back to the elders. His expression remained calm, though a hint of steel entered his voice. "Tell me… what is the situation of the Middle Domain?"

He remembered the humans he saw earlier—chained, beaten, forced to march like livestock toward something that would devour them. The image still lingered like a stain in his mind. He needed to hear the truth from the ones who remained here.

The elders exchanged hesitant glances with one another. A heavy silence hung between them until one finally stepped forward and spoke, gathering the courage to answer.

"The situation… has deteriorated beyond our expectations," the elder said slowly. "Most of the thousand regions have fallen to the demons or the ascendants. Their forces swept across the Middle Domain with frightening speed. Humans in those regions are either slaughtered or enslaved."

The elder paused for a moment, his jaw tightening. "Only the territories governed by the overlord forces remain under human control, and even those lands are surrounded. The demons roam the Middle Domain freely now. Only a few isolated regions and the Four God Nation still stand without demon rule."

Max listened without saying a word. His expression did not change, though inside he had already expected this outcome. After what he had witnessed in the forest—the chains, the fear, the hopelessness—he knew the devastation had spread far beyond what anyone wanted to admit.

He offered no reaction, no outward display of anger or sadness. He simply turned and began walking toward the grand hall where the meeting was taking place.

The elders stepped aside for him, bowing lightly as he passed through.

The Middle Domain had descended into chaos, and the Four God Nation was now one of the last fortresses still resisting the tide.

The center region of the Four God Nation was immense, filled with towering structures, ancient monuments, and defensive formations that pulsed with divine energy. Yet among all those grand sights, there was one place that stood out—a place set aside exclusively for gatherings of the highest importance. Every ruler, elder, and protector of the Four God Nation knew this place well.

It was an open ground surrounded by stone pillars carved with the symbols of the four divine beasts. At the center of this open space lay a massive circular table, wide enough for more than a hundred people to sit around it comfortably. The stone chairs arranged around the table formed several layers, each slightly elevated, giving everyone present a clear view of the entire assembly.

Originally, this grand platform was reserved only for discussions between the four ancient forces that made up the Four God Nation. Matters of state, border conflicts, and the rare alliances or disputes were settled here. No one outside the Four God Nation had ever been allowed to participate in these meetings.

But today was different.

The situation of the world had forced a change that none of the old traditions could resist. The demons had ravaged continent after continent, region after region. The ascendants were no less destructive. The thousand regions of the Middle Domain had fallen one after another, leaving only fragments of humanity scattered throughout the land.

Because of this, the once-exclusive meeting ground had become something else entirely. It had become the last gathering place for the remaining hope of the human race.

Hundreds of powerful geniuses, leaders, and survivors had gathered here today. The air was filled with tension, worry, and determination. The sacred ground felt less like a place for discussion and more like the war chamber for humanity's final stand.
