Chapter 1261 Max's Plan
Chapter 1261 Max's Plan
Aden leaned forward with barely restrained urgency. "What way?" he asked. The tension in his voice was shared by nearly everyone at the table. They had searched, calculated, hunted, and theorized for months, yet not a single trace of a demon stronghold had been found on Acaris.
Demons appeared, attacked, vanished, and reappeared elsewhere as if they slipped between the seams of reality. Now Max was saying he had a method to reach them. No wonder every pair of eyes burned with expectation.
Max did not rush. He let the silence settle before he spoke, his tone calm and steady. "I don't know if all of you are aware, but the demons are not hiding anywhere in Acaris. Their true base is inside a secret domain. A domain that belongs to the Nulls and Ascendants." His voice carried quietly through the chamber. "Because of this, no matter how thoroughly you search this world, you will never find them."
Several leaders stiffened, others looked to Lucien instinctively. Only a handful in the room even knew such a domain existed.
Lucien's expression sharpened. "You found a way into that domain?" he asked slowly. His gaze remained fixed on Max, searching for a hint of exaggeration or bravado. Only those who mastered the fifth level concept of space deeply enough could slip past the spatial walls Mark had set around Nullaria. It was a barrier even Lucien himself had not yet tried to breach, and he trusted his own instincts enough to know how impossible it should be.
Max simply smiled. "I did. I can enter Nullaria whenever I want. The spatial domain Mark created cannot repel me anymore. That world is the demons' nest. Their refuge. Their training ground. Their strongest forces hide there."
The chamber fell silent again—this time in awe and disbelief.
Freya broke the silence. Her voice was soft yet absolute, the kind that cut through all uncertainty. "What is your plan?"
Max clasped his hands in front of him and leaned slightly forward. "It's very simple. Give me all the young geniuses who reached the peak of the Divine Rank in the Heavenly Lord Secret Domain. Their bodies, souls, and concepts are strong, but their combat experience is still lacking. They need real battles, real danger, real momentum. And demons hiding in Nullaria are the perfect targets."
He continued, his voice steady and confident. "I will personally lead them into Nullaria. I will be there to eliminate any danger that they cannot handle. But most battles will fall to them. They need this, and it will accelerate their growth beyond what training in the Middle Domain could ever offer."
There was a stir of unease among some of the leaders, but Max raised a hand, stopping their objections before they formed.
"I know what you're thinking—risk, danger, casualties. But the demons must be exterminated soon. And we cannot wait for more favorable conditions. Nullaria is full of demons, but it is not filled with demon gods. Most of the forces there are mid-level and high-level Rankers. Nothing the new peak Divine Rank geniuses cannot handle with me beside them."
He paused, then spoke the most crucial part.
"As for Mark… he will not interfere." Max's eyes gleamed. "We are giving him what he wants. He needs his souls and his crown. He knows we will eventually hand them over because it benefits him more than anyone else. Right now, he is desperate and cautious. He will not risk provoking us before his power is restored."
The leaders exchanged uncertain glances, but the logic of Max's words was undeniable.
Max leaned back. "If everything goes according to plan, the demons will be completely eradicated within three months."
His final request fell like a stone dropped into still water.
"That is why I want all of you to delay opening the Celestial Beast Temple. Do not break the final seal yet. Give me three months. Once the demons are gone and humanity is secured inside the Life Space Rings, then we will unseal the last soul."
The chamber descended into thoughtful silence, the weight of Max's strategy settling into everyone's minds.
Freya's calm inquiry moved across the table like a ripple. "What does everyone think?" she asked, her gaze sweeping slowly from one leader to the next, holding each set of eyes for a brief moment before moving on. The room remained tense for a heartbeat, the weight of the decision pressing on the air.
Then the responses began to come.
"I don't have any objections," said the leader of the White Tiger God Nation, his expression steady. "At this point, any plan that gives us the initiative is a plan worth pursuing."
"We are in agreement," the Phoenix God Nation's emperor added, nodding once. "Max is the only being in this world who can enter Nullaria without alerting Mark. No force among us can replicate that."
"It is a sound plan," another overlord declared. "If we can eliminate the demons where they hide, then the burden on the Middle Domain will lessen. That alone is worth the risk."
One by one, voices aligned—some cautious, some resolute, but all unified. Even the most conservative leaders understood the necessity. Max was reckless at times, yes, but he was also the only person alive capable of breaking into the secret domain the demons were hiding in. If they refused this plan, they would be sentencing themselves to spend the next months waiting for the demons to initiate the next move.
And no one wanted that.
The nods continued in steady waves. Some leaders wore concern, some hope, and a few displayed something close to relief. Because for once, humanity was not scrambling to defend. They were moving to strike.
Freya watched them quietly, her expression unreadable yet composed. When the final leader nodded, she turned back to Max and gave him the faintest hint of a smile—one that signaled trust, responsibility, and expectation all at once.
"Good," she said, her voice settling over the room like a gentle verdict. "Then it is decided."
She turned toward the table. "Max will take charge of the young Divine Rank geniuses and lead them into Nullaria. Their growth will depend on real battles, and their presence there will accelerate the eradication of the demonic forces. In the meantime, we will focus on preventing any demon from escaping into Acaris. If they attempt to flee back to this world, we will crush them before they slip through."
The leaders nodded again, this time more firmly. The plan had taken root.
Freya continued, her tone steady. "Work discreetly. No one outside this chamber should know about the Life Space Rings or the preparations. Humanity must be secured before the final seal is broken. This will be our last chance at survival."
The room fell into a thoughtful quiet. Everyone understood the stakes. Everyone felt the tightening noose of time.
"Anybody has anything else to add?" Freya asked.
But not a single leader spoke. Seeing that she declared. "Alright the meeting has come to an end."
