Chapter 1378 Lilly Voidwalker

Chapter 1378  Lilly Voidwalker

Soon both Tian and Blob appeared beside Max, their gazes fixed on the trembling red flower that stood at the center of the spiritual field. The flower's petals quivered more intensely now, glowing with a deep crimson light as if molten life itself was flowing through its veins. The surrounding spiritual grass bent gently toward it, responding instinctively to the change in the air, while faint ripples of spiritual energy spread outward in slow, rhythmic waves.

"So the spirit has begun to awaken," Blob said with a satisfied smile, his usually playful expression carrying a rare hint of solemnity. Even he could feel it clearly. This was not an ordinary occurrence within the Dimension of Spirit.

Tian nodded, his eyes reflecting the red glow. "This will be Master's own spirit, born from Master's blood and soul. Such a thing should not exist under normal laws." His voice was calm, yet there was unmistakable awe within it.

Max watched the flower closely, feeling the pulsing connection grow stronger with each heartbeat. "How will it be any different from the other spirits I have here?" he asked, curiosity mixed with anticipation.

Tian smiled faintly, his gaze never leaving the flower. "It would be better if Master sees it with his own eyes once the awakening is complete." There was a quiet mystery in his tone, as though words alone could not describe what was about to happen.

As they waited, the changes in the Dimension of Spirit became more pronounced. The sky above dimmed slightly, tinged with a faint red hue, while the spiritual wind slowed as if the world itself was holding its breath.

One by one, the other spirits scattered across the dimension began to feel the disturbance. Those who had been playing around the black dragon egg paused and turned their attention toward the source of the fluctuation. Drawn by instinct, they drifted through the air, gathering around the field in silent curiosity.

Even Mimi stopped in her tracks. The childish annoyance on her face faded as her eyes widened, sensing something she had never experienced before.

Without a word, she hurried toward the red glow, joining the growing circle of spirits that now surrounded the flower. For a moment, no one spoke. All eyes were fixed on the same point.

The red flower suddenly shuddered violently, its glow flaring to a blinding intensity. Fine cracks appeared along the petals, not signs of decay but of release, as pure spiritual essence surged outward.

A deep, resonant hum filled the Dimension of Spirit, echoing through every layer of space as if announcing the birth of something extraordinary. The flower burst apart in a shower of crimson light, its form dissolving into countless motes that swirled together in midair.

From within that storm of red radiance, a small figure slowly took shape.

A spirit emerged, its body formed entirely of condensed crimson essence. It had a gentle humanoid outline, delicate and radiant, with long flowing hair that shimmered like liquid flame. Its eyes opened slowly, glowing with a deep red light that mirrored Max's own bloodline aura.

The moment those eyes met Max's gaze, the connection snapped into place completely. A powerful resonance surged between them, so intimate and absolute that Max felt as though a part of his own soul had stepped out into the open.

The newborn spirit hovered quietly in the air, its presence calm yet profound. The surrounding spirits instinctively lowered themselves, even Mimi falling silent as she stared in wonder. This was no natural spirit born of wind, earth, or sky. This was a spirit born of will, blood, and destiny, something that defied the natural order.

Max took a slow breath, his heart pounding as he felt the bond settle deep within him. The red spirit turned toward him fully, a faint smile forming on its lips as if recognizing its creator.

The birth was complete.

"Mother!" the spirit cried out, her voice clear and bright as she suddenly flew forward and threw herself into Max's embrace. The movement was instinctive and full of emotion, as if she had known him since the moment of her existence.

Her small arms wrapped tightly around him, clinging with surprising strength, as though she feared he might disappear if she let go.

"What?!" Max froze for a brief instant, completely caught off guard by the sudden affection. He could feel the warmth of her crimson essence pressing against him, the intimate resonance between their souls pulsing strongly. She held him tightly, burying her face against his chest, unwilling to release him.

Max steadied himself, then gently but firmly held her shoulders and pulled her back just enough to look at her face. Her eyes shone brightly, filled with pure joy and attachment.

"Mother! Mother! Mother!" she kept calling out happily, her voice echoing softly through the Dimension of Spirit as she looked at him with complete trust.

Max felt a faint warmth rise to his face and smiled wryly before shaking his head. "I am not your mother," he said calmly, trying to sound composed despite the situation.

"You are not?" At his words, the spirit's expression instantly fell. The light in her eyes dimmed, her lips trembling as sadness spread across her small face. She looked at him as if the world had suddenly lost its meaning.

Seeing her reaction, Max let out a quiet sigh. After a moment of hesitation, he clenched his teeth slightly and spoke again, his voice gentler and more certain. "I am your father. You can call me Father."

"Father?" The spirit tilted her head, clearly trying to understand the unfamiliar word. Her eyes flickered with confusion for a brief moment, then suddenly lit up with excitement as realization dawned upon her. "Father! Father! Father!" she cried out joyfully, her sadness vanishing as quickly as it had appeared.

Max chuckled softly and nodded, his expression warm. "Yes, I am your father," he said, then looked at her carefully. "But you need a name. What is your name?"

"My name?" the spirit repeated, her voice thoughtful as she pondered the question. After a while, she shook her head slowly. "I do not have a name."

"Then I will give you one," Max said with a smile that carried genuine affection. "From now on, your name is Lilly. Lilly Voidwalker."

"Lilly?" The spirit tested the name on her tongue, then nodded enthusiastically, her face lighting up once more. "I like the name Lilly. Thank you, Father, for giving me this name."

As those words left her lips, her body suddenly began to glow with an intense crimson radiance. The light pulsed outward in waves, far brighter than before, as if the acknowledgment of her name had completed something fundamental within her existence.

The surrounding spirits watched in silence as the red glow enveloped her entirely, marking the beginning of a transformation unlike anything the Dimension of Spirit had witnessed before.
