Chapter 1418 Arrival at the Trial Site!

Chapter 1418  Arrival at the Trial Site!

Following the display put on by the top disciples and Max, whose effortless adaptation had left a deep impression on everyone present, the remaining disciples of the Thirty Third Hall finally began to gather their courage.

One by one, they stepped forward from the edge of the star shuttle and descended onto the surface of Planet Cyrus, their expressions filled with tension and determination.

The moment they landed, the brutal reality of Cyrus revealed itself. Crushing gravity pressed down on their bodies, forcing many of them to stagger or bend their knees, while violent flames surged around them as the active flame laws lashed out indiscriminately.

Some disciples gritted their teeth and endured, circulating their cultivation with everything they had. For these individuals, the adaptation was slow and painful. It took them minutes of struggle before the flames gradually receded and the pressure lessened enough for them to stand upright.

Sweat drenched their bodies, and their faces were pale, but relief filled their eyes when they finally managed to take their first steady steps on the planet's surface.

Others were far less fortunate. The instant they touched the ground, their bodies were overwhelmed. Flames engulfed them fiercely, and the terrifying gravity slammed them down before they could even react. Cries of pain echoed as these disciples found themselves completely unable to move, their cultivation unable to keep up with the world's demands.

In such moments, the elders did not remain idle. With calm efficiency, streams of controlled power descended from above, shielding those disciples and forcibly stabilizing their bodies. Under the elders' guidance, the pressure and flame laws were gradually tempered, allowing even the weakest among them to recover and begin the process of adaptation.

Time passed steadily as this continued. Some disciples adapted in a matter of minutes, others required far longer, and a few had to rely almost entirely on the elders' assistance before they could even stand properly.

Yet, under the watchful eyes of the five elders, no one was left behind. One after another, every disciple of the Thirty Third Hall eventually managed to adjust to the environment of Planet Cyrus, whether through their own effort or with external help.

By the end of it all, the ground beneath the star shuttle was filled with exhausted but upright disciples. Heavy breathing echoed across the area, and many collapsed to their knees once the worst of the pressure subsided, their faces filled with lingering fear and awe.

Only then did they truly understand that Planet Cyrus itself was a merciless test, one that had already begun filtering them the moment they arrived.

The Thirty Six Hall Grand Trial had not merely begun. It had already started carving away the weak, leaving only those capable of enduring the harsh reality of the Black Dragon Clan's sacred world.

"Let us move. We have not yet reached the actual trial site," Elder Roger said as he descended to the ground along with the other elders and began leading the disciples forward.

The disciples followed quietly behind them, their earlier excitement now tempered by anticipation and a trace of nervousness. The red world of Planet Cyrus stretched endlessly around them, its scorched land radiating heat even after they had adapted to its pressure and laws.

After several minutes of walking, faint outlines began to appear far ahead. As they drew closer, the shapes gradually became clearer.

The first thing that caught everyone's attention was a towering structure that rose high into the sky, its silhouette sharp and imposing against the crimson horizon. Not far from it stood two massive dome shaped structures, their surfaces faintly glowing with runes and formations that hinted at ancient power.

"This is the trial site," Carl said with a smile, his eyes filled with excitement.

Soon after, the group led by the five elders finally arrived at their destination. What greeted them was a breathtaking sight. Hundreds of thousands of disciples were already gathered there, filling the vast area around the tower and the domes.

These disciples clearly came from the other thirty five halls, and it was evident that the Thirty Third Hall had arrived last.

Each hall's disciples stood together, forming thirty six distinct groups. In front of every group stood elders responsible for their respective halls, their presences forming an invisible barrier that separated the disciples while maintaining order.

"Roger, your hall is the last to arrive," an elder from the Twenty Third Hall said as he walked over to greet Elder Roger. Several other elders followed, exchanging brief greetings and casual remarks.

"Hehe, there is no need to rush," Elder Roger replied with a smile. "As long as the seven families have not arrived yet, nobody can be considered late."

"They should arrive any moment now," another elder said, his gaze sweeping across the disciples of the Thirty Third Hall. His eyes seemed to search for something specific before finally landing on Max.

"So that is the kid who took away the Sword of the Sword Sovereign?" the elder said, studying Max carefully. After a moment, he shook his head lightly, a trace of pity appearing in his eyes. "Alas, his cultivation is still too weak. It will be difficult for him to stand among the top tier geniuses of all thirty six halls."

The elders of the Thirty Third Hall only smiled faintly at those words and did not offer any rebuttal. Only they had witnessed what Max had done upon arriving on Planet Cyrus. Adapting to the pressure and the rampant laws of this world in less than five seconds was not something even most top geniuses from the thirty six halls could accomplish.

And Max had done it with ease.

That alone was enough for them to understand that Max's true strength already stood above many so called geniuses. As for how he would perform when truly tested among all the elites of the thirty six halls, that was something yet to be seen. Even so, the elders of the Thirty Third Hall felt a quiet sense of anticipation.

They were eager to see just how far this monstrous disciple could go.
