Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1490 Defeating Empress Luna!

Chapter 1490  Defeating Empress Luna!

Max's expression remained calm.

This time he raised his sword slightly higher.

The profound aura of the fifth level concept of severing sword surged through his blade as he used his sword art Void Severing Star Scripture.

A faint brilliance gathered along the edge of his sword.

This was the first move of the technique.

Star Severing Sword.

Max stepped forward and slashed his sword downward.

The sword light burst forth like a falling star tearing through the void itself. The terrifying sharpness of the attack collided directly with the incoming arrow.

For a single moment the two forces clashed violently in the center of the arena.

Then the sword light tore through the arrow completely.

The powerful third arrow shattered instantly under the overwhelming cutting force. Its energy exploded outward before fading into scattered fragments of light that vanished into the air.

The battlefield returned to silence as the remnants of the attack disappeared.

Empress Luna stood motionless in the arena. Her beautiful face had lost the calm confidence she carried earlier and her eyes were widened in complete disbelief. For a brief moment she did not speak.

The fragments of the shattered arrow were still fading in the air around them while the silence of the battlefield pressed heavily upon her.

She had been defeated before.

Across the vast Divine Realm there existed two more Combat Towers similar to the one within the Black Dragon Clan. Her soul fragment had faced countless challengers in those towers and many powerful disciples had managed to defeat her over the years.

However none of those victories had come in the way this one had unfolded. In every previous battle her opponents had struggled desperately against her three arrows. Even those who survived had barely managed to endure the final arrow with injuries and exhaustion.

Yet the young man standing before her had cut through all three arrows as though they were meaningless.

Not only had he survived them, he had destroyed them decisively and effortlessly.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

The sound of footsteps echoed across the arena as Max began walking toward her. His movements were calm and steady while the faint arcs of seven colored lightning still flickered around his body. Each step brought him closer until he finally stopped directly in front of her.

"I told you before," Max said with a faint smile. "You are someone I can kill with a single strike."

Before Empress Luna could respond, Max's sword flashed.

The movement was swift and precise. A streak of light passed through the air and the next moment her head separated from her body. Her neck had been cleanly severed and the expression of shock remained frozen on her face as her head fell to the ground.

For a moment the arena remained silent.

Then her body slowly began to dissolve. Her figure broke apart into countless motes of red light that drifted gently through the air before fading away completely.

With her disappearance, the ninety first floor of the Combat Tower had been cleared.

----

Far away from the Verdant Sky Star Realm, across an immeasurable distance of stars and cosmic void, there existed a massive planet whose size dwarfed ordinary celestial bodies. The surface of this planet was filled with vast continents, endless oceans, and towering mountain ranges that stretched into the clouds.

At the heart of one of its most magnificent regions stood a palace that radiated authority and power.

The palace looked like a true royal residence. Its architecture was grand and majestic, with towering pillars carved from luminous stone and vast halls that glowed with faint golden light. Countless intricate symbols were etched across the walls, each one containing profound laws of power that quietly resonated through the entire structure.

The surrounding grounds were covered in gardens filled with rare spiritual plants while streams of pure energy flowed like rivers around the palace.

Inside one of the quiet chambers within this palace sat a woman.

She floated cross legged just one inch above the floor as she meditated in complete silence. Her long red hair flowed gently behind her while a calm aura surrounded her body. Her eyes were closed and her breathing was steady as she remained immersed in deep cultivation.

After some time passed, her eyelids slowly lifted.

The moment her eyes opened, a sharp and penetrating light flashed through them. The calm energy surrounding her body stirred slightly as a faint ripple of power spread across the chamber.

"Finally someone from that third rate clan managed to defeat my soul fragment," she muttered quietly. Her voice carried both surprise and curiosity. "But he was far too strong for such a clan. His presence reminded me of the geniuses from those powerful forces."

Her expression turned thoughtful as she tried to recall the details of the battle she had just sensed through the connection with her fragment.

"What was his name again?" she murmured to herself. "Max Morgan."

The moment she spoke that name, her eyes suddenly narrowed.

A dangerous thought began to form in her mind.

"Wait a minute," she whispered as realization slowly dawned on her. "Could this be the same Max who has recently become famous all over the Divine Realm for being recognized by the sword of the Sword Sovereign?"

The more she thought about it, the more the pieces began to fall into place.

The arrogant confidence he displayed during the battle, the strange calmness in the way he spoke, and the absolute ease with which he defeated her soul fragment all pointed toward the same conclusion. His strength had been terrifying even though he had not shown everything he possessed. The final sword strike that ended the battle had been clean and effortless.

Only someone who had been acknowledged by the sword of the Sword Sovereign could possess such terrifying talent.

"No wonder he said killing me would be as easy as moving his sword once," the woman said softly as she let out a quiet sigh of realization.

For a moment she remained silent as her gaze drifted toward the distant sky outside the palace.

"With so many geniuses like Max appearing all over the Divine Realm, this time's Cosmic Ascension Conference might become one of the greatest in history," she said slowly. "No wonder the Primordials have decided to host the conference this time."
