Chapter 1509 Saint Reiner!
Chapter 1509 Saint Reiner!
"The first replica is this one, the tower you are currently standing in," the old man said calmly as he looked around the vast chamber. His transparent figure seemed to flicker faintly as the dim light of the laboratory reflected through his form.
"The second replica should be somewhere close to this Verdant Sky Star Realm," he continued. "You will have to search for it on your own. I did not leave a clear path or coordinates for it. Only someone who is destined to walk the body cultivation path deeply enough will eventually discover its existence."
Max listened carefully as he absorbed that information.
"As for the third tower," the old man continued, his voice becoming slightly heavier, "that one is different."
He looked upward slightly as though remembering something from a very distant past.
"The third tower is the original tower that inspired me to build the two replicas. In truth, everything you see here was created after I studied the principles of that tower for many years."
His gaze returned to Max.
"That original tower exists in a very special place within the Divine Realm."
He paused briefly before adding another sentence.
"I believe you will eventually reach it one day if you truly pursue the peak of this Divine Realm."
Max slowly nodded as he processed the old man's words.
"So the second replica is somewhere close to the Verdant Sky Star Realm," he murmured.
Since the tower was located within the same general region of space, Max felt confident that he would eventually discover it. The Divine Realm was vast, but if the tower truly existed near the Verdant Sky Star Realm then finding it would only be a matter of time.
The old man then spoke again with a much more solemn tone.
"Before you leave this tower, there are certain things you should know."
Max immediately turned his full attention toward him.
The old man's expression became serious.
"I am not an unknown figure within the Divine Realm," he said slowly. "In my lifetime I was quite well known."
He folded his hands behind his back as he continued speaking.
"I came from a powerful force known as the War God Palace."
The moment those words were spoken, a faint sense of pride appeared in his voice.
"The War God Palace is one of the strongest first rate forces in the entire Divine Realm."
Max's eyes narrowed slightly when he heard that.
Even within the vast hierarchy of the Divine Realm, first rate forces were the absolute giants that stood at the peak of power. A force strong enough to be counted among them must possess terrifying influence and strength.
The old man then looked directly at Max.
"Throughout my life I have been known by many different names."
A faint smile appeared on his face.
"But you can simply call me Saint Reiner."
Saint Reiner then turned his gaze toward Max once more. A faint glow appeared beside him and soon a ring slowly materialized in the air between them. The ring floated quietly, spinning slowly as if carried by an invisible force.
Its surface was engraved with extremely delicate runic markings that seemed ancient and profound. Even though Max had only just seen it, he could already sense that the ring was no ordinary object.
"This ring contains more thorough research on the body cultivation path," Saint Reiner said as he looked at Max calmly. "I spent a large portion of my time studying the forgotten theories behind body cultivation. Everything that I discovered beyond the Overlord Body Codex is stored inside this ring. I figured you would need it if you truly intend to walk the path beyond the Seven Divine Veins."
Max did not hesitate even for a moment. He reached out and accepted the ring with both hands. The moment it touched his palm, he could faintly feel the presence of a vast amount of knowledge hidden within it.
Although he had already received the Overlord Body Codex, it was clear that the contents of this ring were meant to guide him even further on that dangerous path.
Saint Reiner watched him for a moment before speaking again.
"There is one last thing that you must remember," he said in a solemn tone. "You must visit the War God Palace."
Max raised his head slightly when he heard that.
"Since you are the inheritor of my lifetime's work, you are already considered a disciple of the War God Palace," Saint Reiner continued. "However that is only in name. I want you to one day go there and register yourself officially as a disciple of my force."
Max lowered his head slightly as he answered respectfully.
"Saint Reiner, I do not know where the War God Palace is located and I cannot be certain whether I will even be able to reach such a place," Max said humbly. "But I promise that I will try my best."
Saint Reiner smiled faintly when he heard those words.
"Do not worry about that," he said calmly. "I believe that even before you manage to meet me in person, I will already have a chance to witness you in action."
Max frowned slightly at those words.
"How?" he asked with curiosity.
Saint Reiner's smile widened slightly.
"The Cosmic Ascension Conference," he said.
Max's eyes sharpened the moment he heard that name.
"I believe that you will certainly take part in that tournament," Saint Reiner continued calmly. "The Cosmic Ascension Conference is the greatest stage in the entire Divine Realm where the strongest geniuses from countless star realms gather together."
He spoke with a tone that carried clear significance.
"Every genius from third rate forces to the most powerful first rate forces will appear there. They compete with each other for one purpose."
"To claim the title of the strongest genius of the Divine Realm."
Saint Reiner then looked at Max with a calm yet meaningful gaze.
"If you participate in that tournament, I will naturally have a chance to see you in action. I truly hope that you will take part in it. Once you step onto that stage, you will be exposed to many of the first rate forces that dominate the Divine Realm."
His voice grew heavier as he added another sentence.
"That experience will allow you to truly understand how vast the Divine Realm really is."
"Cosmic Ascension Conference," Max repeated quietly while nodding slowly.
He had already heard this name once before from Lucia, but at that time he had not fully understood how important that event truly was. Now after hearing Saint Reiner speak about it, the significance of that tournament became much clearer.
A faint smile appeared on Max's face as a plan slowly formed inside his mind.
'I should participate in this tournament,' he thought quietly. 'If I can become the strongest genius there or at least reach the top ten, many powerful forces will try to recruit me.'
Max's eyes flickered with determination.
'And when that happens, I will choose the strongest force among them.'
He understood very clearly that one day he would have to face the Elven Race. The conflict between them was unavoidable. If he wanted to challenge a race as powerful as the elves, he would need a strong force standing behind him.
In Max's mind, the Cosmic Ascension Conference had suddenly become the perfect opportunity to obtain that backing.
