Chapter 1524 Isabella's Shock!
Chapter 1524 Isabella's Shock!
Following that, Max finally turned his attention toward the inheritance techniques he had obtained from the ancestral chamber of the Black Dragon Clan, and without wasting even a single moment, he immersed himself completely into their comprehension.
The white expanse of the Dimension of Time became silent once again as Max sat down and began circulating his energy, his mind entering a state of deep focus.
One technique after another unfolded before him, their mysteries slowly revealing themselves under his relentless effort. Time flowed differently within that space, and while only a single day passed in the outside world, years seemed to slip by within the Dimension of Time as Max continuously trained, refined, and perfected each movement, each flow of energy, and each hidden principle contained within the inheritance techniques.
When Max finally stepped out of the Dimension of Time, his figure reappeared in his room just a day later, yet the aura around him had undergone a subtle but undeniable transformation.
He exhaled slowly, a faint smile forming on his lips as satisfaction filled his expression. "I have practiced the three cultivation arts to the perfection level," he muttered, clearly pleased with his progress.
However, as that thought settled, his brows slowly drew together as a slight frown appeared on his face. "But the Black Dragon Inferno Furnace Art is truly difficult to learn and practice," he continued in a quieter tone, recalling the immense effort it had demanded from him.
Even with the advantage of the Dimension of Time, where he had spent years focusing solely on this technique, the results had been far from easy to achieve.
He raised his hand slightly as if feeling the changes within his body, his thoughts turning inward. He could clearly sense the two lotus shaped cores that had formed within his inner source, each one condensed from his black flames after an extremely arduous process.
The act of compressing such a destructive and unstable energy into a stable lotus form required not only control but also an extraordinary level of comprehension and endurance.
"Even I, with all that time, have only managed to condense two lotus cores," Max muttered, his tone carrying both respect and disbelief toward the technique.
The majority of his time within the Dimension of Time had been spent on this single inheritance, and yet he had only reached the early stages of its true potential.
He paused for a moment, his gaze deepening as he considered something more important. "One thing is certain," he said slowly, "this technique is far too powerful to belong to a third rate force like the Black Dragon Clan."
The more he thought about it, the more convinced he became that the Black Dragon Inferno Furnace Art was not an ordinary inheritance. The difficulty of learning it alone placed it far beyond the reach of most disciples, and the strength it promised was equally extraordinary.
"From its complexity and depth, I would say this is something that should exist within a first rate force," he added, his voice turning thoughtful.
Max remained silent for a few seconds before shaking his head slightly, pushing aside those thoughts for now. He knew that the only way to truly understand the origins of this technique was to ask Mathew Grimes directly.
For now, there were more immediate concerns. A faint smile returned to his face as he stretched his body lightly. "I am hungry," he muttered under his breath as he began walking toward the door. "Let's see what she has made."
Stepping out of his room, Max made his way toward the kitchen, where Isabella was seated quietly on a chair with her eyes closed, as if she had been waiting for him for some time.
The moment he entered, her eyes snapped open, and she immediately stood up, her expression shifting from calm to alert. "You finally came-" she began, but her words abruptly stopped midway as her gaze locked onto him.
Her eyes widened in shock as she sensed the aura emanating from his body. "Wait… your cultivation…" she said, her voice trembling slightly with disbelief. "You have reached the peak of the Rebirth Realm?"
It had only been a single day since he had entered his training chamber, and yet the difference in his strength was immense. From the third level of the Rebirth Realm, he had directly ascended to its peak, something that would normally take others years or even decades to achieve.
Max simply smiled faintly at her reaction, as if it was nothing out of the ordinary. "I used the resources I obtained from the Dark Phoenix Clan and the Heavenly Kirin Clan," he said calmly. "I had been wanting to use them for a while, so I decided to push my cultivation as far as I could this time."
He paused briefly before adding with a hint of dissatisfaction, "Although I must say, their resources were still not enough. I could not break through to the Law Awakening Realm."
Shaking his head lightly as he set aside the lingering thoughts in his mind, Max looked at Isabella and said in a calm tone, "Let's eat."
Isabella did not respond immediately. Instead, she looked at him deeply for a brief moment, her gaze filled with a complicated mix of disbelief and contemplation, before turning away and walking toward the kitchen.
As she began taking out the prepared dishes, her thoughts churned quietly within her mind. 'This guy is a complete monster!' she thought, her expression remaining calm on the surface even as her heart stirred. 'Even if someone has access to all the resources in the world, it is impossible to refine them so quickly. No matter how talented one is, it would still take at least two or three years to properly absorb and stabilize that kind of power.' The more she thought about it, the more unreasonable Max seemed in her eyes.
If Max had heard her thoughts, he would have simply smiled. Unlike ordinary cultivators, who had to carefully refine every ounce of energy over long periods of time, his ability to devour resources allowed him to bypass those limitations entirely.
What others considered a long and painstaking process had become something far more direct and efficient for him, almost like a hidden advantage that constantly pushed him ahead of everyone else.
Soon, Isabella brought the dishes to the table and began serving the food without saying a word. Max sat down and began eating, his movements relaxed as he tasted the meal.
After taking a few bites, his expression softened slightly as he looked up at her. "I must say, this is one of the finest meals I have ever eaten," he said while continuing to eat, his tone carrying genuine appreciation.
Isabella did not react much to his praise. She simply took her seat at the side of the table and began eating quietly. Her face remained calm, and there was no visible change in her expression. She was already aware of her own abilities, and cooking was one of the few things she was confident in without question.
To her, Max's praise was expected rather than surprising, and so she accepted it without any particular reaction.
For a while, the two of them ate in silence, the atmosphere calm yet subtly tense.
Then, as if recalling something, Max spoke again while continuing his meal. "By the way, how does one awaken the Imperial Bloodline?" he asked, his tone casual but his eyes slightly focused.
