Chapter 1560 Battle between Primordials and Devils!
Chapter 1560 Battle between Primordials and Devils!
"Reaching the third level of the Law Awakening Realm is a good outcome," Max murmured to himself, a faint sense of satisfaction settling within him as he stabilized his cultivation.
With that, he rose to his feet and returned to the group.
"The third level of the Law Awakening Realm?" Luna said, unable to hide her surprise as she looked at him closely. Advancing multiple levels in such a short span was something even she found difficult to comprehend.
Max gave a calm nod. "I still had some Divine Crystals left with me, so I made use of them while the opportunity was there."
"Then that is your good fortune," Luna replied, her tone steady as she accepted his explanation.
Max did not elaborate further. Instead, he simply said, "Let us continue."
The group resumed their journey toward the center of the secret domain, their pace steady as they moved deeper into the unknown.
Several hours passed.
Then, in the distance, a lone figure appeared.
It was a woman walking cautiously across the barren land, her silhouette becoming clearer as they approached.
"Lucia!" Isabella called out, her voice carrying across the silent battlefield.
Hearing her name, Lucia turned toward the sound. The moment she saw the group and recognized Max and Isabella among them, a wave of relief washed over her.
Ever since she had been dragged into this strange world, she had been forced to fight against those horrifying creatures repeatedly. With each battle, her concern for their safety had grown, fearing that they might have encountered the same danger.
Now, seeing them unharmed, she finally allowed herself to relax.
The group quickly reached her.
"Are you alright?" Max asked as he looked at her.
Lucia smiled faintly. "I should be the one asking you that. But since both of you seem fine, I have nothing to worry about either."
Max nodded in response. He then introduced Lucia to Luna and the others, briefly explaining their situation and their plan to head toward the center of the secret domain.
With Lucia joining them, the group continued forward once again.
However, not long after they resumed their journey, the atmosphere ahead began to change.
A distant rumble echoed across the land.
The ground trembled faintly beneath their feet, and an overwhelming pressure spread through the air.
Luna raised her hand immediately, signaling the group to stop.
"Do not move forward carelessly," she said in a low but commanding voice as she focused her senses ahead.
Max narrowed his eyes.
In the distance, a massive battlefield unfolded before them.
An army of devils clashed violently against an army of primordials.
The scale of the battle was beyond anything they had seen before. Countless figures collided in the sky and on the ground, their attacks tearing through space as waves of energy erupted in every direction.
Flames that burned like collapsing stars, lightning that split the sky apart, and spatial distortions that devoured entire sections of land appeared one after another.
Each strike carried enough power to annihilate everything in its path.
Mountains were shattered, the earth was ripped apart, and even the air seemed to distort under the intensity of their clash. The battlefield itself was being destroyed piece by piece, as though it could not withstand the sheer force of the war.
Max felt a heavy pressure settle on him as he observed the scene.
They could not get any closer.
Even from a distance, the residual shockwaves were enough to make their bodies tense. If they attempted to approach, they would be caught in the aftermath of those attacks and wiped out instantly.
Luna's expression turned grave as she assessed the situation.
"We cannot go through this area," she said decisively. "Everyone, stay low and keep your auras suppressed. We will move along the edge and take a detour."
Her voice carried authority, and no one questioned her judgment.
"Follow my lead and do not act on your own," she continued as she began guiding the group along a safer path. "Keep your distance from the battlefield and remain alert. If any stray attacks come our way, defend only when necessary and do not counterattack recklessly."
Under her command, the group carefully adjusted their route, moving along the outskirts of the massive war zone.
Even then, the journey was far from easy.
Shockwaves from the distant battle occasionally reached them, forcing Luna to issue quick instructions.
"Move to the left. Keep your formation tight."
"Lower your presence. Do not draw attention."
"Watch the sky. Something is coming."
Each order came at the right moment, allowing the group to narrowly avoid the destructive aftermath of the battle.
As they continued their detour, the distant clash between the primordials and devils raged on, its scale and intensity leaving a deep impression on everyone present.
It was not just a battle.
It was a war capable of destroying an entire world.
Soon, they reached the other side of a massive mountain and stopped there to rest, using its towering presence as cover from the devastating clash between the armies of primordials and devils.
"What was that just now? Two entire armies fighting?" Max asked with a frown, deliberately acting as though he had no understanding of what they had witnessed.
Luna's expression was dark, her eyes still reflecting the intensity of what lay beyond the mountain. "I recognized one of those armies," she said slowly. "If I am not mistaken, that force belongs to the primordials. I have seen them once before, and their aura is something I cannot forget."
Her voice grew heavier as she continued. "If that is true, then the other army can only belong to the devils. I believe I understand where we are now."
"Where?" Max asked, maintaining his act.
Luna looked at him, her gaze solemn. "I think we have somehow been sent back to the past, to the time when the war between the primordials and devils was taking place on Orion. That would explain the creatures we have encountered, and it would also explain why both of those forces are fighting here."
"But how can that even be possible?" Max asked, feigning disbelief. "How could we possibly travel back in time? Is something like that even real?"
Her words caused a ripple of shock to pass through the group. If what Luna said was true, then they had not merely entered a strange domain. They had stepped into a fragment of the past itself.
Before anyone could respond further, the ground suddenly trembled.
A violent force erupted from above.
A massive attack, unleashed from the distant battlefield, tore through the sky and crashed directly into the mountain they were hiding behind.
The impact was catastrophic.
The mountain shattered instantly.
Rocks and debris exploded outward as the entire structure collapsed, exposing their position in an instant. Dust and fragments filled the air, and the cover they had relied on was completely gone.
For a brief moment, silence fell.
Then—
