Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1562 Chased by the Devils!

Chapter 1562  Chased by the Devils!

"Everyone, run!" Max shouted the moment the devil's body split apart and fell to the ground.

At his command, the group reacted instantly. With Max and Luna taking the lead, the others followed closely behind as they rushed forward in the direction Max was guiding them.

"They killed him!"

A furious roar echoed from behind.

The devils who had been closing in saw their comrade fall, and instead of hesitation, their rage only intensified. Their eyes burned with killing intent as they surged forward without pause.

"Chase them. Do not let them escape!"

The command rang out sharply, and the group of devils did not even spare a glance at the corpse left behind. Their focus remained entirely on Max and the others as they gave chase with relentless determination.

The distance between them began to shrink.

The devils moved with terrifying speed, their presence growing heavier with each passing moment. It was clear that they had no intention of allowing the group even a single chance to escape.

Max frowned as he sensed their pursuit tightening behind them. Luna's expression also grew serious as she glanced back briefly, understanding the gravity of the situation.

While both of them possessed the strength to face a devil head on, the same could not be said for the rest of the group. Most of them would struggle to withstand even a single direct confrontation, and if they were forced into battle, the weaker members would be the first to fall.

The realization weighed heavily on them.

Their expressions turned solemn as they continued to run, pushing their speed to the limit while the devils chased them without mercy, closing in with every passing moment.

'This is bad,' Max thought as he continued running, his expression tightening with every passing moment.

He understood the situation clearly. The devils would eventually catch up to them. It was only a matter of time. If he had been alone, he could have either turned back and fought or increased his speed enough to leave them far behind, but with the group following him, neither option was possible.

Through his Dimensional Sovereign Body, he could see everything unfolding behind them with perfect clarity. The devils were closing the distance steadily, their pursuit relentless and precise.

"They are getting closer," Max said, his voice carrying a warning that immediately reached everyone.

At his words, the expressions of the group darkened.

A heavy tension settled over them as they realized just how dire their situation had become.

Max let out a quiet breath as he glanced at them. For a brief moment, a thought crossed his mind. If he could simply take them all into his dimension, he could escape without concern and release them later in a safe place.

However, that idea was quickly discarded. Revealing his ability to move others into a separate dimension was far too dangerous. It was a secret he could not afford to expose under any circumstances.

As he searched for another solution, Luna suddenly spoke, her voice cutting through the tension.

"There is a small hill a few kilometers ahead," she said, her tone firm. "There is a group stationed there from the Sword God Palace, the Ascension Hall, and the War God Palace. I have already informed them about our situation. If we can reach that hill, they will launch a surprise attack and help us deal with the devils."

Max's eyes sharpened.

A hill.

He immediately extended his Dimensional Sovereign Body's perception forward and confirmed it. Hidden within the terrain ahead, several human figures were concealed, waiting in silence. Although he did not know how Luna had managed to contact them, it was clear that this was their best chance to turn the situation around.

"Everyone! You heard her," Max shouted, his voice firm and resolute. "Stay close behind us. Once we reach that point, we will be safe."

His words reignited a spark within the group.

The despair that had begun to settle in their hearts was replaced by a renewed sense of determination. Without hesitation, they pushed their bodies harder, increasing their speed as they raced toward the distant hill, hoping to reach it before the devils closed in completely.

It took them several intense minutes, but they finally drew close to the hill Luna had mentioned.

"Do you see that narrow canyon beside the hill?" Luna said as she pointed ahead, her voice steady despite the urgency. "We only need to enter that canyon and draw the devils inside."

"Wouldn't that trap us as well?" Lucia asked, her brows furrowing as she studied the terrain.

"No," Luna replied without hesitation. "That canyon has already been prepared as a killing ground by the Sword God Palace, the Ascension Hall, and the War God Palace. Once we enter, we will be safe."

Hearing this, Lucia and the others nodded, placing their trust in Luna's judgment as they pushed forward toward the canyon.

Moments later, they reached it.

Without slowing down, the group leaped into the canyon.

Behind them, the pursuing devils followed without hesitation, driven by their rage and intent to kill. They rushed in after the group, unaware of what awaited them within.

The moment the devils entered the canyon, everything changed.

From all directions, countless attacks burst forth.

Blades of light, condensed energy strikes, and hidden techniques erupted simultaneously, striking the devils before they could even react. Although their bodies were naturally resilient, the sudden and coordinated ambush left them with no time to defend themselves.

A sneak attack of this scale was devastating.

Several devils were struck down instantly, their bodies torn apart under the overwhelming barrage, while the others were left severely injured, their movements slowing as they struggled to recover.

Before they could regain their footing, the final blow came.

Figures emerged from concealment as members of the Sword God Palace, the Ascension Hall, and the War God Palace launched their attacks together, finishing off the remaining devils with precision and overwhelming force.

Within moments, the entire group of pursuing devils had been wiped out.

Silence fell over the canyon.

Luna's group could not help but release a collective sigh of relief, the tension that had built up during the chase finally dissipating.

Max observed the scene quietly, his gaze resting on the corpses scattered across the ground.

"These people from the three forces are indeed powerful," he thought.

At the same time, he clearly understood another truth. The devils had only been dealt with so efficiently because their strength had been restricted to the peak of the Law Refinement Realm.

If they had retained their original cultivation, which likely surpassed the Law Manifestation Realm, then even a coordinated ambush like this would not have been enough. In that scenario, the outcome would have been entirely different.

As this thought settled in his mind, Max felt a quiet sense of fortune.

His ability to assimilate dimensions and impose such restrictions had unknowingly become a decisive advantage in a situation like this.
