Chapter 1580 Powering UP!
Chapter 1580 Powering UP!
"You are quite interesting, aren't you, kid?" Kazreth said, a faint smile forming on his face as he observed Max more carefully this time. His tone carried a hint of curiosity, as though he had just discovered something mildly amusing. "There are not many who could endure that attack and still stand before me."
The interest in his eyes, however, faded just as quickly as it had appeared.
"Unfortunately, I do not have the time to entertain you."
As he finished speaking, he casually raised his hand and flicked his palm forward.
The motion was simple and effortless.
Yet the force it released was overwhelming.
An invisible wave surged forward and struck Max directly. It did not resemble any ordinary attack, yet the pressure behind it was immense, like an entire mountain crashing down at once. Max's body was thrown backward violently as the ground beneath him shattered, leaving a long trail of destruction in his path.
The air roared from the impact.
Max's body spun through the air before he reacted.
He forced his sword downward, driving it into the ground with all his strength. The blade cut deep into the earth, anchoring him as he slid across the broken terrain. The force continued to push against him, sending tremors through his arms, but he clenched his teeth and endured it until his movement finally came to a halt.
Dust rose around him as silence followed for a brief moment.
Then Max slowly lifted his head, his gaze sharp and unwavering.
"Where do you think you are going?" he said, his voice steady despite the impact he had just taken.
Kazreth turned back once more.
He studied Max quietly, his golden eyes narrowing ever so slightly.
The young man had taken his attack and was still standing, his aura unbroken and his will intact.
A faint smile returned to Kazreth's face.
"You are quite resilient," he said, his tone carrying a trace of acknowledgment. "Very well. Show me what you are capable of. I will give you a few seconds."
There was no arrogance in his voice.
Only calm certainty.
Max understood the meaning behind those words.
This was not a fair fight.
Kazreth was an existence far beyond anything he could contend with. Even with his strength suppressed to the peak of the Law Refinement Realm, the gap between them remained vast. For someone like Kazreth, such suppression meant almost nothing.
Max knew that he could not afford to hold back even the slightest bit.
If he hesitated, if he restrained himself in any way, this would end instantly.
His only option was to use everything he had.
In the next moment, his body erupted with power.
Seven colored lightning surged through him, flashing wildly across his skin and wrapping around his entire form. Each bolt carried a distinct hue, yet they moved in harmony, forming a violent storm that radiated divine and destructive energy.
The power of the Storm King's inheritance awakened fully.
The lightning intensified further as Max activated Heaven's Wraith and Extreme Speed at the same time. His body tensed, his muscles tightening as a surge of strength coursed through him. His senses sharpened, his perception expanded, and the flow of energy within him accelerated to an extreme level.
His speed increased dramatically.
His strength rose even higher.
Yet he did not stop.
Dark black flames ignited across his body, spreading rapidly until they covered him completely. The flames burned with a deep and oppressive aura, their presence heavy and violent as they intertwined with the flashing lightning.
"Black Dragon Inferno Furnace Art."
Within him, the two lotus cores began to tremble violently.
A powerful surge erupted from them, flooding his body with energy. The combination of lightning and black flames grew even more intense, merging into a chaotic yet controlled storm that surrounded him entirely.
The ground beneath his feet began to crack under the pressure.
The air around him distorted.
Max stood at the center of that storm, his aura rising continuously as he pushed himself to his absolute limit. Every ounce of strength he possessed was being drawn out, refined, and amplified.
Max was not finished.
"Infernal Demon Transformation."
The moment those words left his lips, a surge of dark red energy erupted from within his body. It spread outward like a violent tide, merging with the already raging storm of lightning and black flames that surrounded him. The atmosphere grew heavier, more oppressive, as if something ancient and dangerous had awakened.
Two sharp red horns emerged from his head.
At the same time, a pair of crimson wings unfolded behind his back, their form both majestic and terrifying. His hair shifted as well, turning into a vivid shade of bright red that flickered faintly with infernal energy.
This transformation was different from before.
There was no loss of control.
There was no chaotic corruption.
Every ounce of that infernal power moved in perfect harmony with his will. The energy did not consume him. It obeyed him completely.
Kazreth's expression shifted slightly as he observed the transformation.
"This kid…" he murmured softly, a trace of surprise appearing in his voice for the first time. He had not expected someone at the third level of the Law Awakening Realm to display such overwhelming layers of power.
The aura surrounding Max continued to rise.
It climbed rapidly, reaching a level that rivaled those at the very peak of the Law Refinement Realm.
Even the Four Primarchs could not ignore it.
"Since when did our universe produce someone like this?" the first Primarch said, his voice solemn as he studied Max carefully. "Those horns and wings clearly originate from a devil bloodline, yet he is in complete control of that transformation."
"Not only that," the second Primarch added, his gaze sharpening. "His mastery over the seven colored lightning and those black flames is equally impressive. Each force is stable, refined, and perfectly integrated."
Despite their acknowledgment, the female Primarch shook her head slowly.
"All of this is meaningless," she said, her tone calm but firm. "No matter how much he strengthens himself, the gap between him and that being cannot be bridged."
The fourth Primarch, however, did not share her complete dismissal.
"This child is far from ordinary," he said, his eyes fixed on Max with a deeper intensity. "We must break this barrier as quickly as possible. We cannot allow his efforts to be wasted."
At his words, the other three Primarchs grew serious.
Without hesitation, they began channeling their full strength into breaking the forcefield that confined them. Their auras surged violently, and the space within the barrier trembled under the immense pressure as they pushed themselves to their limits.
