Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1638 Center of Attention!

Chapter 1638 Center of Attention!

Some attempted to overwhelm their copies with brute force, yet they were met with equal resistance. Others tried to outmaneuver their reflections, only to find their movements predicted and countered without fail.

Names continued to echo across the square as more participants were called forward.

Then, suddenly, a name resounded with a clarity that cut through all noise.

"Max Morgan."

In that instant, the entire plaza fell into complete silence.

Every gaze shifted toward him at once.

Some looked on with curiosity, others with skepticism, while a few revealed open hostility in their eyes. Yet beneath all those emotions lay a single undeniable fact. Max had already carved his presence deeply into the minds of everyone present through his performance in the previous trial.

Max stepped forward calmly, his expression unchanged despite the overwhelming attention. His movements were steady, his breathing even, as though the weight of countless gazes held no meaning to him.

Far above the square, Elder Cael stood in silence, his gaze fixed steadily on the massive screen where Max's figure had appeared. Although his expression remained calm, the faint shift in his eyes revealed that his attention had sharpened far beyond before.

"This is the one they were speaking about," a nearby elder from the Violet Star Palace said quietly, his tone carrying a trace of doubt. "The one who supposedly took away the sword of the Sword Sovereign."

Another elder frowned slightly as he studied Max's figure on the screen. "He does not look particularly impressive. His aura is steady but he is too weak only at the 9th level of Law Awakening Realm. I don't even know why the Black Dragon Clan send him to the Smelting Trial."

Elder Cael remained silent for a moment before speaking in a measured voice. "I don't know about that but being chosen by the sword of the Sword Sovereign was already the greatest acknowledgement one can get in the Divine Realm. A weapon like that does not choose lightly. Whether he appears weak or not is irrelevant. The fact that he was acknowledged is enough to prove there is something unusual about him."

The first elder narrowed his eyes slightly. "Then what about the first trial? A hidden result beyond the system's visible scoring… I have never seen such a thing before."

"That is precisely what makes this interesting," Elder Cael replied calmly. "The trial system does not give without reason."

In the distant pavilion, the elders of the Celestial Forge Pavilion had also begun discussing in low voices, their attention completely locked onto Max.

"So it is him," one elder said, his brows raising slightly. "The one who took the Sword Sovereign's blade."

Another elder let out a faint scoff, though his gaze remained sharp. "Took it? Or was he simply lucky? There are many ways to obtain a weapon, but being worthy of it is another matter entirely."

A third elder leaned forward slightly, his eyes narrowing as he observed Max's calm stance. "Luck alone cannot explain the hidden result from the first trial. That system has existed for countless years. Not once has it displayed something it could not quantify."

"That is what troubles me," the second elder replied, his tone growing more serious. "A score beyond the system's range suggests one of two things. Either he broke the limits of the trial… or the system failed to evaluate him properly."

The first elder shook his head slowly. "A failure of the system is unlikely. That formation was created by ancient experts. It has judged countless geniuses without error."

"Then that leaves only one possibility," the third elder said quietly.

They all fell silent for a brief moment.

"His results surpassed the highest ceiling set by the system."

Back in the square, elders from various third-rate forces were also exchanging glances as they watched Max appear on the screen.

"So that is the boy everyone has been talking about," one elder said, his tone filled with skepticism. "He looks no different from the others. Are we truly to believe that he obtained the Sword Sovereign's weapon? Moreover he is too weak. A brat at the 9th level of Law Awakening Realm has no right to present here."

Another elder folded his arms, his gaze unwavering. "There were witnesses. Too many to dismiss. The question is not whether he obtained it, but how."

A third elder let out a low breath, his eyes narrowing slightly. "And how he achieved that hidden result. I have seen many trials in my lifetime, yet never have I heard of a result that could not even be displayed."

"Perhaps it was some kind of trick," the first elder suggested, though his voice lacked confidence.

"Do you truly believe that?" the second elder asked, glancing at him.

The first elder hesitated, then shook his head slowly. "No. Not under the eyes of so many elders of the Celestial Forge Pavilion. If it were a trick, it would have been exposed already."

Another elder spoke up, his tone more thoughtful. "If both of those things are true, then we are looking at someone who either possesses an extraordinary inheritance… or an ability that we cannot yet understand."

Silence settled among them as their gazes returned to the screen.

Above all of them, Elder Cael continued to watch without interruption. His eyes remained fixed on Max, the faint interest within them now carrying a deeper meaning.

"Whether he is worthy of that sword… whether he truly surpassed the trial system…" Elder Cael murmured softly, his voice almost lost to the wind. "This battle will give us the answer."

Max stepped into the portal without hesitation, his figure vanishing from the square as if swallowed by light.

In the very next moment, his image appeared on one of the largest screens suspended high in the sky, and the attention of the entire plaza shifted toward him as though pulled by an invisible force. Conversations ceased, and even those who had been skeptical earlier found themselves watching in silence.

Inside the battlefield, Max stood motionless, his posture steady and his gaze fixed straight ahead.

Before him stood his reflection.
