The shift stunned many of the spectators.

"She moved!"

"Revona actually stepped back!"

"His attacks are not being fully erased!"

At the Nine Star Court, the cheering swelled even louder, and at the Black Dragon Clan, the disciples watched with widening eyes. Even at the War God Palace, many body cultivators regarded Orion with newfound respect.

They rarely admired long-range fighters, but the Nine Star Sovereign Body had turned Orion into a genius of close combat without ever abandoning his star foundation, and that alone was enough to earn their attention.

On the stage, Orion’s attacks grew heavier.

The elbow strike arrived from an impossible angle. Revona nullified most of it, but a small remnant of star force slipped through and struck the defensive ripple of void surrounding her body.

A faint crack appeared in the void ripple, and Revona’s expression grew colder.

Orion smiled. "It seems there is a delay."

Revona’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Orion pressed on. "Your Void Origin Eyes are terrifying against anything that travels toward you, but when the attack is already bound to my body, you have to identify the exact star force inside each movement before you can erase it. If I change stars quickly enough, even you cannot erase everything in the same instant."

Revona did not deny it. Instead, she stepped forward for the first time as void light gathered around her fingers.

"Then I will erase you before you finish changing."

She attacked. Her movement was quiet, yet the danger inside it was terrifying. Her fingers carried the nullification of the void origin, no longer as a ranged phenomenon but as a direct close combat technique.

Orion’s eyes sharpened, the fourth star sank into his right leg, and he pivoted just clear of her fingers while sweeping his leg toward her waist.

Revona’s eyes flickered, and the star force inside his leg dimmed. But Orion changed again. The fifth star entered his left shoulder, he abandoned the kick midway, stepped inside her guard, and struck with his shoulder.

Revona’s pupils contracted slightly. The change had come too fast. Her gaze had already locked onto the leg, and by the time it shifted to the shoulder, Orion was already upon her.

The shoulder strike landed, and Revona was driven backward. She did not lose half a step this time. She lost three full steps.

The entire arena exploded with shock.

"No, it did not fail. Orion changed his star force faster than she could erase it!"

Revona came to a stop after the third step, her long hair drifting around her face. Her body carried no serious injury, but the fact that Orion had landed a clean strike mattered far more than any damage.

Rakan Thorne laughed. "Now that is more like it."

Morgana Starveil looked at Orion with fresh caution. "So the smiling star prince is also a monster in close combat."

Aurelian Lareth’s expression stayed cold, though even he could not dismiss what he had just witnessed, and Selene Vaeloria stared at the stage with a complicated look in her eyes.

Max watched in silence, his gaze calm but intent. Orion had not simply overwhelmed Revona with strength. He had found a way to pressure the very mechanism behind her ability, and that made him far more dangerous than anyone who relied only on grand displays of star power.

The nine ancient stars revolving inside him began to spin faster, and every rotation lifted his close combat power to a higher level. His breathing grew heavier, yet his aura became more majestic, as if each breath drew power down from some faraway starry heaven and condensed it into his flesh.

Revona raised her hand slowly, and the air around her fingertips vanished. It was not shattered, and it was not cut apart. It simply vanished. A circle of emptiness spread out beneath her feet, silent and smooth, and wherever it passed, the light of the arena dimmed as though it had been swallowed before it could exist.

The stage did not break, the cracks did not widen, and even the dust near her feet disappeared without a sound, leaving behind a clean and hollow space that looked disturbingly calm.
