Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1870: Sovereign of Space!

Chapter 1870: Sovereign of Space!

Inside the Eternal Hourglass, the top geniuses watched with grave expressions.

Damian Voss narrowed his eyes. "Their techniques share the same foundation, but Max’s handling runs deeper."

Ervin’s gaze turned thoughtful. "Kaiden’s moves are clean, but Max is reading their source before they fully form."

Rakan Thorne frowned. "I hate fights like this. They are punching each other with the battlefield itself."

Orion Starfall smiled weakly from his pillar. "That is exactly what makes it frightening."

On the stage, Kaiden studied Max for a few breaths before raising his hand once more. This time, the space around the entire stage grew unstable.

"Void Genesis Art, Eightfold World Folding."

Eight enormous folds spread across the central arena. Each fold contained a partial reflection of the stage, and within every reflection stood another Kaiden. The attack was no illusion. Each reflected Kaiden occupied a temporary spatial layer, and any one of them could become real at the instant of attack.

Eight Kaidens moved as one.

"Void Genesis Art, Eight Hollow Strikes."

Eight palms lashed toward Max from eight separate spatial layers.

Max stood in place, and he neither dodged nor defended. The first strike passed through his shoulder while the second passed through his ribs. The third struck his back, and the fourth struck his chest. The fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth all landed from their own different layers of space.

Yet Max did not move. No blood appeared, and no wound opened anywhere on his body. His clothes fluttered slightly, but he remained completely unharmed.

Kaiden’s eyes widened, and the eight reflected figures faded away.

Max regarded him quietly. "Those attacks will not work on me."

Kaiden’s expression grew more serious. "Why?"

Max raised one hand, and the space around his palm answered him like an obedient subject.

"It’s a secret."

The words were quiet, yet they spread through the arena like a shockwave, and Kaiden’s pupils contracted.

Max continued calmly, "Your attacks are strong. Against almost anyone else here, even many top geniuses, they would be extremely dangerous. But they are still space element attacks. They still rely on folding, cutting, compressing, burying, displacing, or isolating space."

The space around Max became still. It was not controlled and it was not forced. It was simply still, as though it had accepted him of its own accord.

Max looked at Kaiden and said, "I am mostly immune to that."

A wave of shock rolled across the arena. Kaiden slowly lowered his hand, and for the first time in the battle, his calm face showed genuine disbelief.

"Mostly immune to space attacks?"

Max offered no further explanation. He could not reveal everything about the Dimensional Sovereign Body, and he had no intention of exposing its source. The truth itself was simple enough.

Space could bend around him, fold around him, and even attack through him, but wounding him with space itself was nearly impossible unless the attacker held power far beyond his current level. His body did not merely resist spatial force. It belonged to a deeper dimensional foundation altogether.

The Dimensional Sovereign Body made him the true sovereign of space, and turning ordinary space attacks against him was simply foolish.

Kaiden grasped part of it without needing another word, and his gaze deepened.

"So that is why my strikes failed to damage you."

Max nodded lightly. "Yes."

Kaiden closed his eyes briefly, and when he opened them again, his expression had changed. There was no anger in it. There was only understanding, along with a strange sense of clarity. Even so, he did not surrender yet.

Silver-gray light erupted around him, and the space behind him opened into a vast hollow expanse filled with countless shifting planes. The aura of the Void Genesis Art swelled beyond anything he had shown before, and for the first time, Kaiden drove his mastery to its absolute limit.

"Void Genesis Art, Grand Void Convergence."

Every spatial layer around the stage began folding toward a single point above Kaiden’s palm, and the pressure became terrifying. Even though Max was largely immune to spatial attacks, the sheer mastery behind this technique set the whole arena trembling.

The Grand Void Convergence did not simply cut or compress space. It gathered every fold Kaiden could command and condensed them into one point, seeking to collapse the opponent’s very position within reality.

Kaiden looked at Max. "If this still cannot touch you, then I will have my answer."

Max stood calmly. "Then come."

Kaiden pressed his palm forward. The Grand Void Convergence descended, and the point of collapsed space drifted toward Max like a silent star of emptiness.

Max raised his hand as the Void Genesis Art circulated within him. His movement, however, differed from Kaiden’s in nature. Kaiden controlled space with precision, while Max commanded it with the authority of its origin.

"Void Genesis Art, Genesis Returns To Void."

The moment Max spoke, the collapsed point before him trembled. Kaiden’s Grand Void Convergence did not explode. Instead, it began to unfold. Layer by layer, the space Kaiden had compressed was returned to its original state.

The killing pressure vanished and the collapsing coordinates stabilized. The distorted reality mended itself around Max’s palm, and the enormous attack Kaiden had condensed with everything at his disposal dissolved without harming a single strand of Max’s hair.

The Grand Void Sanctum viewing platform fell deathly silent.

Kaiden stared at the scene, and at last he understood. The gap between them did not come only from Max’s immunity to space attacks. That was merely one reason. The deeper reason was mastery, for Max’s command of the Void Genesis Art surpassed his own.

Kaiden’s techniques were refined, powerful, and difficult to counter, but Max had reached a level where he could touch the root rhythm behind them. Whenever Kaiden folded space, Max could return the fold to its origin.

Whenever Kaiden displaced a layer, Max could redirect its axis, and whenever Kaiden compressed space into a killing point, Max could unfold it before it turned fatal. Even if Kaiden had somehow landed a strike, the Dimensional Sovereign Body would have kept the spatial force from truly injuring him.

This was not a battle between equals walking the same path. It was a senior pathwalker meeting someone who had traveled deeper into the inheritance than he ever had.

Kaiden looked at Max for a long moment, and then he smiled faintly.

"I understand now."

Max lowered his hand. Kaiden glanced at the space surrounding Max, and then at Max himself.

"No wonder master chose you."

The words sent another wave of shock through the arena. Master chose you. To everyone else, that sentence could carry countless meanings, but to Max and Kaiden it carried only one. The person behind the Void Genesis Art had not passed it to Max by accident.
