Chapter 1911: Damian vs Ervin!
Chapter 1911: Damian vs Ervin!
The roar caused by Max Morgan’s victory over Revona did not fade quickly.
Even after the transfer light carried both of them back to their pillars, the Divine Realm remained trapped in the shock of what had just happened. Revona had been the first of the undefeated four to fall, but she had not fallen cheaply.
She had forced Max to reveal more power than anyone else in the entire Cosmic Ascension Conference, including the Devouring Flames Domain, Divine King Punishment, his four Divine Veins, the full release of 5000 Draconic Essences, the Dragon Scales Transformation, the strange time power connected to his clone, and finally that mysterious star-like legacy power that even Revona’s nullification could not fully erase.
No one could treat her defeat as weakness. If anything, the battle had proved that Revona’s strength was terrifying enough to push Max into revealing a depth that had been hidden even after all his previous victories.
But the final stretch did not stop. Angelina Valerius waited until the golden laws of the Eternal Hourglass restored the stage again.
The black flames vanished completely, the cracked ground became smooth, and the residual aura of nullification, lightning, draconic pressure, and dimensional starlight faded from the arena one by one. Only after the battlefield returned to its original state did she raise her hand again.
"The second battle among the remaining undefeated participants will now be selected."
The giant screen above the arena changed once more. Only three undefeated names remained shining at the top.
[Max Morgan]
[Ervin]
[Damian Voss]
Revona’s name had not disappeared, but it had moved slightly below them now.
[Revona]
[Total Battles Fought: 22]
[Total Wins: 21]
The sight alone caused countless spectators to inhale deeply. One monster had fallen, and three remained.
The names spun again. Max Morgan. Ervin. Damian Voss. The light moved faster and faster, and the entire Divine Realm grew quiet once more.
After watching Max and Revona’s battle, no one thought their hearts could withstand another immediate peak collision, but the Eternal Hourglass clearly had no intention of showing mercy.
The first name stopped.
[Damian Voss]
The Sword God Palace disciples immediately straightened. The second name continued rotating. It passed Max Morgan. Then it stopped.
[Ervin]
The screen enlarged.
[Final Undefeated Battle]
[Damian Voss vs Ervin]
The entire Divine Realm erupted again. Sword Sovereign Heaven stood against Abyssal Origin Descent, the strongest genius of the Sword God Palace against the most mysterious spear genius of the conference.
One had cut through divine light, war body power, curses, dawn authority, and even Kaiden’s Grand Void Labyrinth. The other had swallowed star power, heavenly luminance, curse authority, void-space corridors, and nearly everything that had entered the range of his abyss.
This battle carried a different kind of pressure from Max against Revona. Max and Revona’s battle had been a clash between overwhelming layered power and absolute nullification, while Damian and Ervin’s battle felt like a confrontation between two ancient paths that should never have been placed in the same world, a sword that ruled all blades against an abyss that returned all things to depth.
On his pillar, Damian Voss slowly opened his eyes. His expression remained calm, but his sword intent had already begun to rise.
Ervin also stood quietly. His black spear rested in his hand, and his gaze was as deep as a sea with no bottom. He did not speak, but the faint shadow of the broken gate behind him seemed to stir even before he moved.
Rakan Thorne crossed his arms, his grin returning.
"This one will not be clean."
Orion Starfall leaned forward.
"No. Both of them are too dangerous for that."
Kaiden Voidmere looked at Ervin with a serious gaze.
"If Damian’s sword cuts the gate before it opens deep enough, Damian wins."
Morgana Starveil said softly, "And if the abyss swallows the sword rhythm before the final edict descends, Ervin wins. Though I am not sure how Ervin’s path works."
Revona sat quietly on her pillar, still pale from the previous battle, but her eyes had not lost their sharpness.
Max stood silently and watched. He had fought Ervin before and had seen the strange depth of Abyssal Origin Descent, and he had also seen Damian’s Sword Sovereign Heaven cut through concepts that most people could not even touch.
This battle was not one where either side could hold back and slowly test each other. If either Damian or Ervin tried to begin cautiously, the other would seize the rhythm and crush them immediately.
Angelina Valerius looked toward both participants.
"Damian Voss."
"Ervin."
"Enter the stage."
Two beams of light descended. Damian appeared on one side of the central arena, sword in hand, his robes moving softly around him. Ervin appeared opposite him, black spear lowered, his shadow stretching strangely behind him.
For a few breaths, neither moved. Then Damian spoke first.
"You have not shown everything."
Ervin’s voice was calm. "Neither have you."
Damian’s hand tightened around his sword. "Then we should not waste time."
Ervin raised his spear slightly. "Agreed."
Angelina Valerius lowered her hand.
[Battle Begins.]
The moment the words appeared, both of them released their Pseudo Cosmic Paths. There was no probing strike, no opening exchange, and no cautious movement.
Damian’s sword rose, and the sky behind him split into a vast sword world. Sword-edge mountains appeared, rivers of sword light flowed through the air, an ancient sword altar stood at the center, and high above it a silent palace appeared around an empty throne.
A single sword hung before that throne, radiating a pressure that made every weapon in the audience tremble.
"Sword Sovereign Heaven."
At the same time, Ervin planted his black spear into the ground. The stage beneath him darkened, and a black sea rose from nowhere, silent and endless, spreading beneath his feet until the entire arena seemed to stand above an abyssal ocean.
Ancient waves rolled without sound. In the distance, a broken gate emerged from the depths, half submerged, enormous, ancient, and covered in unreadable symbols. The moment it appeared, the light of Damian’s sword world dimmed slightly near the edges.
"Abyssal Origin Descent."
Boom!
The two Pseudo Cosmic Paths collided before their masters even moved. Sword light pressed downward while abyssal depth rose upward, and the center of the arena became divided between a silver-white sword heaven and a bottomless black sea.
The stage cracked from the pressure, and the Eternal Hourglass barrier brightened instantly as golden laws poured around the battlefield.
Damian moved first.
"Sword Sovereign Heaven, First Edict, All Blades Refuse Submission."
Countless sword lights descended from the sword heaven, not as random attacks but as edicts of submission. Every sword line carried authority that forced weapons, techniques, and killing intent to lower themselves before Damian’s blade.
