Don’t Try To Corrupt Me

Chapter 77

Chapter 77

The noise was intense, and passing students curiously glanced inside, then their faces were filled with shock.

“Quick! Go find a teacher! There’s a fight in room 209!”

“Oh my God!”

“Fuck!”

The dormitory supervisor quickly arrived, and by now, a crowd of students had gathered in front of room 209 to watch the spectacle.

Iron head and the head master of Changteng Private School received the news, and their hearts were pounding. Almost as soon as they received the call, they rushed to the student dormitory without even having time to put on their shoes.

Iron Head’s face was particularly solemn and frustrated. He had specifically told Sheng Yuan not to fight. He had practically nagged him, pulling his ears, to prevent it from happening.

However, the incident had still occurred.

“Make way! Make way!”

“Don’t block the way here! Everyone, go back to your dormitories!”

“Go back! Stop watching!”

Iron Head squeezed his way through the crowd, followed closely by Changteng’s head master.

Inside room 209, chaos reigned. Sheng Yuan held Huang Anchong and kept punching him, his expression fierce, his movements quick and fierce. His arms lifted with full force, as if he had lost control of his rationality. The dormitory supervisor couldn’t even pull them apart.

Huang Anchong’s face was covered in blood, completely defenseless against the onslaught. His neck tilted back, the pain and stimulation making his eyes roll back.

“Stop! Don’t fight!”

“Let go!”

The dormitory supervisor grabbed Sheng Yuan by the collar and nearly ripped it apart, while the Iron Head frowned. He stepped forward with his large, heavy hands exerting force to separate Sheng Yuan from Huang Anchong.

After being pulled apart, Sheng Yuan still wanted to charge forward, and Iron Head could no longer tolerate it. He pushed him onto the bed.

“What are you trying to do, Sheng Yuan!”

Sheng Yuan’s eyes were bloodshot, obviously unable to hear anything the head master was saying. He still wanted to go after Huang Anchong, who, after being beaten, trembled on the ground. Seeing the head master of Changteng approaching, he quickly hid behind him.

The dormitory supervisor saw that Sheng Yuan was still trying to move forward and hurriedly ushered Huang Anchong and the head master of Changteng out.

“Go, take this student away first.”

The head master of Changteng wasted no time. He covered Huang Anchong’s bleeding mouth and nose with a piece of paper and supported him as they walked out. The students who were watching outside didn’t disperse, and a few of them tried to take pictures with their phones, but the head master of Changteng swiftly knocked them down.

“Why are you all standing here? Go back to your dormitories!”

Guo Gang frowned as he looked at Huang Anchong’s bloodied face.

His favorable impression of him vanished instantly.

Sheng Yuan never randomly attacked people, especially not those weaker than him.

When Sheng Yuan saw Huang Anchong being taken away, he still wanted to go after him. The head master’s anger flared up. If it had been his own child, he would have thrown a couple of punches.

Seeing that Sheng Yuan was still not calming down, the head master grabbed him by the collar. “What do you think you’re doing? How many times did I talk to you before you came here?”

Iron Head hated to see his students not living up to their potential. He hoped they would participate in the winter camp to secure a better future for themselves. He wanted his students to have a good place to go in the future, and all the effort he put into teaching and guiding them was to help them stand firmly in society.

But Sheng Yuan’s involvement in a fight now undoubtedly sabotaged his future.

He regretted not suggesting that Sheng Yuan and Guo Gang be roommates when the dormitories were assigned randomly, to prevent such incidents from occurring.

He looked at the youth before him, who was ignorant of the ways of the world and controlled by his emotions, and his eyebrows furrowed in anger.

“Why did you hit someone?”

“At this critical moment, can’t you just hold back?!”

“Do you realize how serious this is? The chance of getting admitted to Qingbei through the competition is now gone!”

Sheng Yuan shouted angrily, “Even without that opportunity, I can still get into Qingbei!”

The head master looked at the enraged young man in front of him, his expression stunned, as if he was seeing this student for the first time.

“What’s wrong with you, Sheng Yuan?”

He asked in disbelief.

The head master grasped Sheng Yuan’s hand. “You’ve always been a calm and rational child.”

Sheng Yuan stood still for a long time, gradually regaining his composure. His expression became desolate, and everything around him lost its color.

“I’m sorry.”

His voice was hoarse, his brows drooping. After the surge of anger subsided, he was left with a sense of powerlessness and indescribable exhaustion.

The head master felt uneasy in his heart.

Sheng Yuan sat defeated on the bed. His once proud rationality and intellect had completely collapsed just moments ago, and he didn’t know why. However, the act of violently attacking someone didn’t bring him any pleasure; instead, it caused a painful ache in his heart, as if a piece of it had been dug out.

[System: Host, are you okay?]

Sheng Yuan didn’t respond to the system’s usual playful question with a light-hearted tone this time. He didn’t feel very well.

But if time could go back, the result might still be the same, and he would still resort to violence.

Iron Head looked at Sheng Yuan’s dejected state, but he couldn’t find the right words to say after repeating them in his mind several times.

“You should calm down first. Stay in Room 209 and I’ll go check on the Changteng student.”

The head master left, and Sheng Yuan’s gaze fell to the floor as he quietly sat in Room 209.

Soon, the conflict between Sheng Yuan and Huang Anchong escalated on the forums of Changteng and No.1 Middle School.

“What the hell, Sheng Yuan beat up Huang Anchong!”

“Is it that delinquent from No.1 Middle School, Sheng Yuan?”

“Yeah, it’s him.”

“Why did they fight? I used to admire him, but if he simply bullies Changteng’s students, count me out.”

“Who is Huang Anchong? Is he a delinquent from our school?”

“No, he should be an ordinary student.”

“Although we don’t know who’s right or wrong yet, I’m leaning toward Huang Anchong.”

“What? Are the ones upstairs newcomers? You don’t even know Huang Anchong! If you don’t know Huang Anchong, you must know Yu Zuojin, right?”

“Who doesn’t know the War God of Changteng? Single-handedly made all the open corridors at Changteng barricaded with iron railings. When he was at Changtenf, he used to fight every day, even with teachers, though he became even more famous after transferring out.”

“Oh, now I remember. Huang Anchong was the one Yu Zuojin pushed down the stairs.”

“This Huang Anchong is pitiful. Is he destined to be a punching bag for delinquents?”

“Wow! I didn’t know Yu Zuojin used to be from our school!”

“There are so many posts about him on the forum. The people upstairs haven’t even bothered to read them.”

“He was always quite famous. I never expected this.”

“What’s Sheng Yuan’s background? Isn’t he too arrogant?”

“Why does he get to beat up our school’s students? He’s lawless!”

“He might get expelled from the winter camp because of this.”

“Huang Anchong is from our class. He’s a good person, always helping classmates. He wouldn’t provoke others for no reason.”

“Huang Anchong is a good guy.”

“Did Sheng Yuan intentionally start a fight? Isn’t he a delinquent? I don’t have a good impression of him.”

“So what if he’s a delinquent? It’s none of your business.”

“Hey, delinquent upstairs, did I step on your tail? What’s the matter? When delinquents do bad things, we shouldn’t talk about them?”

“Bring it on, but don’t let me find out who you are.”

Suddenly, there was silence from upstairs.

On the other end, the forum of No.1 Middle School was also buzzing.

“What the hell, who is this Huang guy? How dare he mess with my Brother Sheng!”

“Brother Sheng rarely resorts to violence. If he does, he beats up either beasts or scum.”

“Chu Weitian threw a pile of shit at you.”

“Chu Weitian:…”

“Got it, that Huang guy is not a good thing.”

“Why did Sheng Yuan fight? Who provoked him?”

“Brother Sheng wouldn’t just randomly attack someone. The other person must have provoked him.”

Both sides of the forums believed it was the other party’s fault.

Some users even shared comments from the opposing school’s posts, and upon seeing the overwhelmingly one-sided support for Huang Anchong and Sheng Yuan, No.1 Middle School and Changteng engaged in a full-blown war of insults.

“A delinquent and a good student, who intentionally started it, you know best.”

“A good student on the surface, but who knows what they’re like behind closed doors.”

“I’m standing right here. Let’s see who dares to provoke Huang Anchong today.”

“Your father has arrived.”

“People from No.1 Middle School lack manners.”

“Can’t you see Changteng’s foul language? The double standards upstairs are ridiculous.”

During evening self-study, Jin Anzhu used his phone to exchange words with Changteng students, hurling insults at each other all night long. He wished he could strangle his opponent through the phone.

Xia Zhiqi and the rest watched the phone silently.

As if they were casually discussing daily matters, Xia Zhiqi asked, “How long will Brother Sheng be gone?”

Cun Tou replied, “I heard it’s for half a month.”

“That means he’ll be back on January 22nd.”

Xia Zhiqi counted on his fingers.

—————-

On the other side, Iron Head went to negotiate with Changteng’s head master, lowering his tone in the interest of the students, hoping the other side would give Sheng Yuan another chance.

The leaders from the competition committee would only arrive tomorrow, and the winter camp competition hadn’t officially started yet.

However, it seemed almost certain that Sheng Yuan would be expelled from the winter camp. One less student meant one less competitor.

Changteng’s head master remained adamant.

Unable to persuade him, Iron Head threw caution to the wind and played his last card. He turned the tables and said, “Your students also resorted to violence. Let’s expel both sides.”

“You!”

“What ‘you’! Isn’t your student not responsible for the red marks on my student’s neck?”

“Your student struck first.”

“Who says he struck first? Who witnessed it? I can also say that it was your Changteng student who struck first.”

“I just asked Huang Anchong, and he said the other side attacked him first!”

“It’s just one-sided testimony! Who knows who struck first? If Sheng Yuan claims he struck first, then does that mean he did?!”

“You’re being unreasonable!”

“Haven’t I been reasonable with you all along? Whose face are you trying to save with that stern expression?”

“Didn’t you see that your student held mine down and beat him?!”

“Just because one side had the upper hand doesn’t mean they struck first. We have strong bodies!”

“You have no shame, do you?”

“You’re the ones with no shame, suspecting my student without asking for the reasons.”

“You struck first.”

“It’s just one-sided testimony! One-sided testimony!”

Iron Head and Changteng’s head master battled like a broken record, either staying together or getting expelled together. No one would have it easy!!!

Even if he had to die today, Iron Head was determined. Sheng Yuan didn’t strike first!

In the end, both of them were hoarse from arguing.

Before this, they had become friends at a teachers’ academic exchange meeting and had a pleasant conversation. Who would have thought they would now be arguing furiously, wishing they could kick each other into the ground.

Changteng’s head master was so out of breath from the argument. Huang Anchong was indeed part if the fight. If it was defined as a brawl, both Sheng Yuan and Huang Anchong could forget about staying.

Iron Head: “Let’s each take a step back.”

Changteng’s head master: “Why should we take a step back?!”

Iron Head shouted loudly: “Changteng’s and No.1 Middle School students had a brawl!!

“You! You…” Changteng’s head master was so angry that he stomped his feet. “Lower your voice!”

Iron Head looked at him.

Will you back down or not?

Seeing that he wouldn’t relent, he was about to shout again.

“Fine, I won’t report it! But…” The Changteng head master’s hand trembled with frustration as he pointed at Tie Tou. “You are really shameless.”

Shame was long gone, and Iron Head didn’t argue with him.

Changteng’s head master said, “But there’s a condition. Your student must apologize to Huang Anchong.”
