Chapter 1013 1013:- The Stronghold of Allies

With Rin and Athena, Aditya started his new journey to reclaim the throne. Because he was exiled legally, he wasn't entitled to the throne.

But this was one of those situations where breaking the law was a must for the greater good.

And what he really cared about the most was the fact that his cousin, who was the new Emperor, was a member of the organisation that threatened the entire world. He was not interested in becoming the new emperor of the empire from which he was exiled.

He was more interested in removing the influence of the organisation from the Celestial Dragon Empire.

After saying farewell to the rest of the family early in the morning, the trio quickly arrived in Tunnel World, the pocket dimension that served as a connecting point between the six continents and the main continent.

"Their main source of income is forging for their clients."

The trio entered the Dwarf City, which is named Brightmor City. Compared to their last visit, nothing much had changed. Everything remained the same. But there was a strong rumour around the city that someone had managed to clear the Steel Dwarf Trial. But the name of that person remains unknown.

"These people are so rich that it would be seen as a disrespect if Aditya offered to pay them." Aditya nodded his head in agreement.

Shortly, they reached the centre of the city, where Alfred, Leo, Lahm, along with a few Elders and their wives, were waiting for them.

"Welcome!" Leo stepped forward with a big, bright smile, with his arms wide.

"We have been waiting for you." Aditya extended his hand for a handshake, but the dwarf leader took his hand before pulling him in for a hug.

"In our culture, we don't greet our friends with just a handshake. Handshake is only for our clients. We greet our friends with hugs."

"Uncle, how have you been doing?"

"Certainly better than before, thanks to you." He was under a lot of pressure before he met Aditya because his cousin kept pressuring him with various methods to change the rune formations on the Celestial Dragon Empire's throne and Crown. But with Aditya, he finally could stand against the Emperor without any fear.

Not to mention, Alfred has been taking care of the food supplies. Every time he visited Brightmor City, he bought more than enough fresh supplies to support the food demand of the entire City.

And ever since the Emperor sent his men, demanding that the Dwarf leader himself go to the capital of the Celestial Dragon Empire to help him by making changes to the rune engravings on the throne and the crown, something strange has been happening.

They have started facing food shortage problems. Before, even if food was expensive, there was never any actual shortage. But this time, strangely enough, five out of their ten food suppliers were attacked by bandits, and their supplies were constantly being stolen.

After hugging the leader, Aditya turned to the son, Lahm, who is next in line to become the dwarf leader. This time, he pulled the young man of his age into a hug. He heard from Aflred that after this civil war situation ends, he plans to slowly push Lahm and give him more responsibilities. So that in 5 to 10 years, he is ready to take over his position, and Leo could enjoy a retirement.

If this were the case, Aditya would meet Lahm in the future. Not to mention, he felt that both of them had a good connection. Lahm was the one who led him to the entrance of the trial and even waited for him until he was done.

While Aditya was greeting the leader and a few other elders, the elders' wives and a few female Elders approached Rin and Athena. The ladies of the tribe also greeted them with hugs and light kisses on their cheeks

After entering, Aditya turned to Leo and handed him a storage ring.

Leo took the ring and looked at it for a moment before laughing out loud.

Seeing all this, Leo was very pleased and happy with the gift that Aditya had given him.

Aditya knew that Leo and his tribe did not lack money. What they truly lacked was food, meat, and wine. So he specifically gathered the best of the best available in the Istarin Empire; everything that the Dwarf Tribe lacked - and presented it as a gift.

"Come, let's eat!" Everyone sat down to eat.
