Chapter 1170: Chapter 1170:- Break Into the Imperial Palace

Aditya closed his eyes and listened to what his heart had to say.

For a long time, he remained silent, allowing his thoughts and emotions to settle. Then, he calmly began remembering everything that his parents had said to him, from the very beginning of their conversation until the very end.

Although those memories were painful to revisit, Aditya forced himself to remain calm. He did not allow his emotions to completely take control of his mind. Instead, he tried to look at the situation logically and search for a third option that he could still explore.

Boris looked at his grandson carefully. He did not know what Aditya was about to ask him, but he could clearly feel the heavy resolve hidden within his voice. He could tell that this was not a casual request. Whatever Aditya needed help with, it was something extremely important.

“I don’t know what you need my help for, but you should know that for my grandson, there will never be a no from my side.” Hearing those words, Aditya smiled.

Even after everything he had experienced, hearing his grandfather’s unconditional support still gave him a sense of comfort.

Aditya then began explaining everything that had happened inside the spiritual world while Boris was absent. He explained the reunion with his parents, the conversation they had, the decision Alen and Elena had made, and the painful choice that he was now forced to face.

He told Boris how his parents wanted him to prioritize the civil war and the future of the empire, even if it meant accepting their deaths. He also explained that despite understanding their reasoning, he could not simply give up on saving them.

“Those two fools!” Boris’s voice suddenly became filled with anger.

His eyes turned red as his emotions surged. The calm and composed expression that he usually maintained disappeared completely, replaced by pure frustration and disbelief. “Those two are complete freaking idiots.”

Boris clenched his fists tightly as he spoke. The anger in his voice was not because he hated Alen and Elena. It was the complete opposite. He was angry because they were willing to give up their lives so easily.

He was angry because his son and daughter-in-law had decided that their deaths were the only solution without even considering how much pain it would cause the people who loved them. “And everyone else in that room is an idiot for going along with their words.” Because no one tried to stop them.

Boris could understand why they reached that conclusion. He understood the dangers of the civil war and the possibility that Alen and Elena could become weapons in Ren’s hands.

However, understanding the situation did not mean he had to accept their decision. To Boris, giving up on their lives was not the answer.

Just like his grandson, Boris was not willing to abandon his son and daughter-in-law until the very end. He did not care how difficult the Royal Palace was to infiltrate or how impossible the situation appeared to be. As long as there was even the smallest chance of saving them, he wanted to fight for it.

“I would even dare say that the Royal Palace is the number one fortress in the entire Celestial Dragon Empire.” Boris spoke with absolute confidence. As the former emperor who had personally overseen the palace’s development for thousands of years, he knew exactly how difficult it would be for anyone to infiltrate it.

However, before Boris could continue explaining the difficulties, Aditya interrupted him.

“I don’t want to hear whether it is the most defensively capable fortress in the entire universe or how impossible this task is. I have already been told these words many times now.” Aditya replied in a slightly annoyed tone.

He was not denying the difficulty of the mission. He understood better than anyone that entering the Royal Palace would be extremely dangerous. But what he wanted at this moment was not another explanation about how difficult it was.

He wanted an answer.
