Chapter 947: Chapter 947:- After the Night We Couldn’t Stop

It was around 10 in the morning in Brightmor City when Laura woke up.

Opening her eyes, she found herself naked. Only a thin blanket covered her body.

She looked around the room, expecting to see their scattered clothes all around. But unexpectedly, the whole room was cleaned. There was no evidence of what happened between them last night.

’Last Night...!!’ Remembering the wild chaos of the Last Night, Laura’s face turned red. She felt very embarrassed.

’Aditya is a devil Dragon King.’ She didn’t expect him to be this skilled at this.

From time after time, she kept falling into his traps. Rather, she walked into his traps despite knowing what might happen. He was so irresistible. She was starting to wonder if he was an Incubus.

When she tried to get up, she paused, sensing his gaze on her.

"Go on....!" He said with a smirk.

"No!"

"Turn Around!" She said in a cold tone while glaring at him. He had played with her body for almost till sunrise, yet he wanted to see her more. The fact that he desired her so much made her very happy, but also embarrassed her.

"Come on! Don’t be so shy!" He took a step forward towards the bed.

"Don’t come closer." She backed away while tightly clenching the blanket.

Last night, things escalated, and they ended up having sex. It was her first time, yet he refused to show her any mercy and continued their exercise until almost sunrise. They had begun their great adventure and exploring each other’s bodies from late afternoon yesterday, and this continued almost till sunrise.

"We have basically done everything. Why are you still so shy?" He shamelessly closed and pulled the blanket.

"This is Laura. She is the Empress of the Deep Sea Palace." But neither Leo nor Lahm had ever heard about the Deep Sea Palace. They had only heard about the Istarin Empire a few times in recent times due to its rapid rise in economic and military power.

"Laura is also a part of the Goddess of Wisdom’s soul. This means she is one of the 7 Goddesses." He completely trusted the father and son duo with his secrets. From a very young age, he has been hearing from his butler and from his parents that dwarves of the Tunnel World are some of the most loyal, trustworthy people in the whole world.

There was no reason for him to keep any secrets. If anything, he felt revealing their secret might bring them an unexpected surprise. For example, one of the main reasons that they came here to meet Leo is because they wanted to cross the Sand Mirage Desert as quickly as possible without suffering from constant heat and thirst.

Being chased by ancient worms wasn’t a pleasant feeling, especially when flying and teleportation weren’t even allowed, not to mention the traps that were placed all over the desert.

"She is my future wife." Aditya felt that he had to add the last part. When he said that, Leo could see Laura’s face lit up in joy, even though she tried her best not to show it. But with his experience, he could easily read her face.

Lahm was once again in shock. Up until a few years back, he had heard rumours that, despite being the fiancé of the seven goddesses, there was no relationship between the exiled Crown Prince and the Goddesses. In fact, there were even some rumours that suggested that the goddesses hoped to break the engagement through any means possible.

"I assume you two will leave today," Leo asked.

Aditya and Laura nodded their heads. They had already wasted 7 days on this journey. Maybe it will take them another 2 days to get out of the Sand Mirage Desert. By now, they will be 9 days late.

They simply didn’t have enough time to stay in Brightmor City. They had to act fast and find the Athena.

"Uncle, do you know any way for us to cross the Sand Mirage Desert as fast as possible?" This was the main reason he had brought Laura here.

"We indeed have a secret route that we use in times of emergency. It’s an underground path, located almost 600 meters below the Sand, and it runs beneath the Mount Soulripper. Ancestor Frank alone worked on this path for 291 days and finally made it. He also used runes to hide the path and reinforced it to make it strong enough so that the beasts living under the sand wouldn’t be able to find them."

"By using this Path, you two can cross the tunnel within a few hours. The Tunnel’s exit is in the central region of the Tunnel World."

"That’s great news." Aditya and Laura were both very relieved by the positive news.

"Lahm, go with them. The exit of the tunnel is very well hidden and needs a special artefact to open."

Lahm firmly nodded his head.

Aditya then spent the next 30 minutes having a meeting with Leo. Their purpose was to take down his cousin Ren.

It was mostly Elder Leo telling about the recent changes that took place under his regime. He took extreme steps to suppress and kill the people who might go against him in the future. He did this openly without caring about the opinion of the public, which quickly made him very unpopular among his own people.

"Uncle, we should head out. Although I would like to continue this meeting, I am afraid we are short on time."

"Don’t worry, I understand."

"Before you leave, take this with you." He took out Aditya’s black sword, the Adamantite Doomblade, from his ring.

The sword was repaired and looked even more menacing than before.

"Since yesterday, Dad has worked almost 16 hours to repair the sword. It’s a shame that you cannot wield a 6-star sword yet; otherwise, it would have been easier to turn it into a 6-star sword." Leo wanted to give this to Aditya, so he worked continuously without taking any breaks.

"Thank you very much, elder." He was very grateful. He really needed his black sword. The Raiketsu was good, but he missed his dead sword. This sword has been his partner since he was a Second Order Cultivator.

"This is where we part, Aditya."

Leo patted Aditya’s shoulder. He was about to leave, but then he stopped as if he had something else to add.

"Oh, I remembered something."

"Around two days ago, two Powerful Peak 6th-order cultivators started a fight in the city."

"Although we managed to stop the fight before things escalated, we couldn’t keep them locked up in our prison." Since it was just a fight, without thinking much, Leo kicked them out of the city.

By normal rules, these two should have been locked up in prison for at least a few months and fined heavily. Peak 6th-order cultivators commanded a different kind of respect. It was not worth inviting unnecessary trouble by keeping someone so powerful locked up.

"I heard from my people that these two and their followers were running around the entire city and asking people about two people. Now that I know the entire story, I am pretty sure they are member of that organisation." During their meeting, Aditya had briefly told them about the organisation that was chasing Laura.

"Be careful. Those two are most likely waiting for you two to go out of the Sand Mirage Desert."

Hearing this, Aditya’s expression turned serious.

’I didn’t expect our disguises to fail this soon.’ He then remembered the fight he had with the guards from the Twilith City. He was expecting the Organisation to become alert. He wasn’t expecting them to trace them down this quickly.

’This means if we had been slower to cross the Desert, we would have met them.’ Before, Aditya was unsure if he could fight Peak 6th-order without going all out. But now, he was confident in his ability to protect his woman.
