Chapter 962: Chapter 962:- End of Volume

"For now, I want to go back and make plans there. We will need allies from within the Celestial Dragon Empire and outside." Aditya knew he alone could not do this. He will need help.

"Then we will accompany His Highness to the Istarin Empire." Aflred’s words made Bree and Mateo happy. In the Six Continents, they will be protected and safe from any danger. And they were really curious about the Empire that His Highness built while being in exile for such a short time.

Aditya nodded his head. He knew that they would follow him. With Alfred’s help, he will be able to gain information about the political landscape of the Celestial Dragon Empire. By better understanding the geopolitics of the empire, he will be able to make a good plan to stand opposite his cousin. Right now, his cousin is too powerful, with the entire empire’s military being under his command.

Meanwhile, they noticed that Athena and Laura’s bodies were glowing in a bright yellow-greenish colour. The glow wasn’t too strong, but in the cave’s darkness, it was very noticeable from outside.

At the same time, they felt that Laura’s aura was slowly merging with Athena.

Laura’s body slowly started to fade. Before disappearing, she looked at Aditya and gave him a small, gentle, assuring smile as if to tell him not worry and that everything would be fine.

Then her entire body slowly started transforming into thousands of fireflies. These fireflies then entered Athena’s body. Athena closed her eyes and felt her soul finally reunited.

Upon merging with Laura, Athena gained a plethora of knowledge, new memories and new emotions.

She gained the knowledge of things she hadn’t even heard before.

She gained memories of people that she never even met before. -The Deep Sea Palace, Her maid, Aditya, The Dragon Palace, and so much more.

She gained experience that she didn’t even want to gain. This part made her blush. She couldn’t help but take a sneak peek at the man who took Laura’s first time. It seems Laura really loved this man.

Aditya noticed Laura staring at him. From outside the cave, he couldn’t see her blushing face.

Looking at her for a moment, he felt like he was looking at Laura. If Athena and Laura did not look different from right now, he would have assumed that this was Laura. Their Aura felt so similar, but at the same time, it also kind of felt stronger and a little bit different.

[I do really love him.] - Athena heard Laura’s voice from inside.

When both of them merged, it’s not like Athena completely suppressed Laura’s will. They both originated from the same soul, so after their merger, their actions and their will also become synchronised.

At the same time, he was very attentive and caring towards his women. Despite having so many women, he didn’t actively seek out more women from outside. He was very loyal and faithful to them.

All these things significantly improved Athena’s opinion of Aditya.

She knew that he was someone whom she could trust and depend on.

Athena walked outside the cave.

"You looked concerned," Athena said with a smile. Athena’s voice was very soft and gentle. Aditya almost felt like he was having a conversation with Laura. They almost even sounded the same. Athena’s voice sounded more mature.

"I am!" Aditya did not hide it.

"I am Athena, but at the same time, I am also Laura." Their will was the same now. And Athena was engaged to Aditya, and Laura loved Aditya. So there was no conflict within them about showing affection to the same man. If it were a different man, then there might have been a chance of conflict.

"Aditya, we should head back. There are some issues that I want to address in my Empire." This sentence itself showed that Laura wasn’t buried within Athena. Rather, the two had just become one.

Thus, they set out for the South. Their destination was the same city from which Aditya and Laura came.

The whole journey took them almost 20 hours. They could have travelled faster, but throughout the entire time, the group maintained a steady pace, a pace at which everyone was comfortable flying.

They saved time by not stopping at night to take a break. As cultivators, they did not need to stop and eat or rest for the night. This was something that only mortals would do. As cultivators, they could go days without eating or resting.

Before leaving the Tunnel World, Aditya sent a letter to the Dwarf Tribe, informing them about his departure. In the letter, he also mentioned his future plans. He promised to visit the Tribe when he returned to the Tunnel World.

Aditya will need their support when he eventually goes to the Main Continent to visit the Celestial Dragon Empire. But that will need to wait.

For now, Aditya wanted to further strengthen the defensive capabilities of his empire. The Dwarf Ancestor have given him something extremely valuable after the final battle. These were notes that would finally help him become a 5-star Runemaster. Right now, he was heavily limited by his rank and couldn’t achieve much.

But once he became a five-star runemaster, he could do a lot more things. He already had many plans that would revolutionise the entire defensive structure of all major Cities and Towns of the Istarin Empire.

This trip to the Tunnel World has given him too many things. He reunited with people whom he was forced to separate from. He gained valuable insight and experience that would significantly help him get even stronger now that he has broken through Beginner 5th-order.

All he needed was time. A few months will be enough for him to get even stronger and raise the overall military strength of the Istarin Empire.

One day later,

The teleportation Array within the Azure City lit up. The guards thought that this was just another normal teleportation, bringing more people. But when the light dimmed, seeing the familiar Face of the Emperor followed by four other people, the guards instantly got to their knees and greeted the Dragon Monarch.

Within minutes, the news of Aditya returning reached the Dragon Palace. The news reached the ears of Julia, Alicia, Lara, and everyone else.

Everyone was excited to see Aditya back.

"I will teleport you all to the Dragon Palace." Mateo and Bree were really excited. While travelling, Aditya told them stories about the Dragon Palace. So they were really excited to see this monument with their own eyes.

Aditya teleported them to the entrance of the Dragon Palace. Julia, Alicia, Lara, and others were already waiting at the entrance for Aditya.

When he appeared, Julia, Alicia, Lara, and others threw themselves at his arm. But Lilith was the fastest. She tackled Aditya, which almost made him fall to the ground, and then shamelessly began kissing his neck and face without caring about others watching them.

Seeing this, Mateo, Bree, and Alfred were all stunned. Even Athena knew that Lilith was like this but even then, she was still taken back by her boldness and wild behaivor.
