Dungeon of Lust: Managing Otherworldly Beauties

Chapter 217: Toats Ruined the Vibe

Chapter 217: Toats Ruined the Vibe

Greed was like Mias when it came to knowledge.

Both possessed an unhealthy obsession with it.

Vale knew the best way to control Mias was through his curiosity, a sentiment he would extend to Greed.

Naturally, no matter what knowledge he had, it wasn’t enough to pay for the deal in its entirety; however, he could provide it with some extra value.

"Go on. Explain. Why would I be interested in this fact? Explain by stating it is the very thing you’d tell me if it were included in a deal.

As for the fact that Vale had alluded to...

The existence of an oracle who was nearby to Vale. One who had backed Kindness, yet held other unknown motives.

While Vale didn’t know just how important oracles were or how much that info would entice Greed, as long as he believed it did, the [Shard of Truth] would assist his cause.

"Why would you be interested? Obviously, because this knowledge could be crucial to your future."

Greed shook her head and chuckled.

"As with all knowledge..."

Vale smiled.

"I know, I know. However, I’m not talking about minor changes. I’m saying this knowledge I would tell you could very well alter the balance of life or death?"

Greed frowned slightly.

"As with all knowledge. Come on, Valentin. You’re going to have to do better than that."

Vale paused for a moment, then slowly said:

"If this knowledge is taken advantage of. Then, who knows? You might be able to resist Sl—"

Greed shivered and rocketed from her seat. Before Vale could even finish her name, Greed was upon him, covering his mouth.

"QUIET! SHUT YOUR MOUTH!"

Pushing Vale’s head against the fabric of his throne, Greed continued:

"Some knowledge is cursed! Whatever you wanted to tell me, keep it to yourself! Don’t tell me! Don’t tell anyone!"

Vale winced as Greed applied pressure to his head.

Since their contract hadn’t activated yet, Greed wasn’t even trying to hurt him.

Vale tried to resist her force and turn his head, but her power was too overbearing.

Greed shouted:

"In fact, in favor of your silence, I’ll lessen the price for my stay. Just keep your trap shut!"

Greed pushed his head down and stepped away.

Vale heaved a few long breaths.

During his rumination on how Sloth had impacted his life on Pandora, he’d figured it was only sensible if Sloth had involved herself with the others.

’But to think she’s that fearsome...’

All he was about to mention was the fact that what he knew had a chance to help resist Sloth. Greed’s reaction pointed toward a grim truth.

’Are you watching?’

Had she marked him?

’I see.’

He thought back to what Wrath had said about the prophecy.

’Share what you hear with no one. Not even me. If you reveal the contents in any way, I can promise your execution will not be swift... not that it would be my doing.’

There was only one way Sloth would know.

She was watching and listening.

Talk of resisting Sloth was inherently dangerous. So dangerous that Greed had completely lost her cool.

Instead of getting angry or yelling back, Vale calmly replied:

"Thank you."

Greed shook Vale’s saliva off her hand.

"Good," Greed said. "Now you understand why some names should never be spoken."

She looked down at the crystal, which had fallen off the arm of the throne during their scuffle. She scoffed at its dormancy, then returned to her mock throne.

Greed chuckled lightly and crossed her legs.

"Well, well. That toats killed the vibe. Amiright?"

Vale took a long breath in, then exhaled through his nostrils. Before bending over and lifting the [Shard of Truth] from the floor and clutching it in his hands.

As much as he needed a cooldown from that fiasco...

’This thing does have a time limit.’

"Are you a virgin?"

Greed’s mouth hung open, and her swaying motions stopped.

"What...?"

Vale lightly smiled.

"Ah, let me rephrase."

He leaned forward and released his restraint on [Charm] and [Flame of Lust]. A pink spark ignited in his eyes, which soon grew into a blaze.

"Not including your experiences on Earth. Are you a virgin in this body here on Pandora? In however long you’ve been here."

Greed stayed completely motionless.

The sheer expression of shock adorned her face.

"Um..."

"Well?"

Greed was still terribly jarred by the recent events; all she managed was a few mumbling phrases.

"Um. What? Valentin? Uh..."

Vale’s face stretched into a smile.

"I see. So you are. No shame in that."

Greed blinked wildly.

"I didn’t. Huh? What?"

As the Master of Lust, there was one more thing Vale could offer that went unmentioned at all.

It wasn’t his power or help.

It was his body...

Vale continued his spiel, making sure to imbue his words with [Charm]. Even if the effect was diminished on Greed, it wasn’t absent.

"From my own experiences here, I can say that my lust has been amplified to extreme levels, yes. I can also say that my other emotions have been dulled and overwritten. However, they’re still somewhat there. I’ve gotten mad, a little jealous, hungry for power, lazy, prideful, and most definitely greedy..."

Vale’s gaze drew up and down the alluring woman’s form.

"I’m sure you’ve had much the same experiences. Especially as Greed. After all, greed is much less streamlined in desire than the rest of us Vice. You want what you don’t have. And you want to keep what you do have. Here’s some food for thought... Do you not have greed for carnal desire?"

A hit of passion’s ember stirred within Greed’s eyes.

Vale spread his arms wide, showing off his body.

"I know you may not like me; however, there’s no denying my body is the epitome of desire. You know my ability, after all. Imagine the possibilities! I can cater to your deepest, darkest desires. I can help you forget all the worries of this world."

Vale pointed his hands toward Greed. His right one holding the dormant crystal, showing it off.

"What I offer is pleasure. Pleasure you’ve been unable to experience in your time here on Pandora. I offer you my body."
