The boring, but important, war logistics meeting dribbled to a slow end. Vale checked that everything was in order and that peace was being maintained between his forces and the Akkuron occupants, then he made his way to Floor Two.
After verifying he was himself by showing off his very cool bike to an annoyed Salome, Vale transported himself to Floor Two; and moments later, to the inside of the Dungeon Core.
The Dungeon Core, which was now growing even more populated with random stuff.
The Dungeon Core, which was also his soul...
But despite knowing that, the workers, at least those confined to the second floor, came and went freely.
Sighing, Vale summoned his status, reveling in the fact that he was about to lose all his Satisfaction...
’It took so long to get this much!’
Mainly because Greed and Liora interrupted that behavior... but still! It took so long!
And yes, he was going to lose it all by using it for its intended purpose.

A light smile grew on his face as he remembered all it had taken for him to get to this point.
Vale dismissed the screen, then wished to purchase a new Champion.

"Yes..."
A moment later, a streak of silver spawned high above.
A mass of mercury spiraled down in the white expanse. As it grew closer, he noticed that the gray substance looked much like water.

Vale’s eyes widened upon hearing that familiar string of words.

The liquid silver slammed into the ground, then splashed upward. However, as it dispersed, it suddenly stopped, then sucked back into the epicenter.
Swirling and coalescing into something resembling a human. Then, the silver cracked like a shattered eggshell, revealing a beautiful human-like woman with long, wavy silver hair that neatly settled along the crest of her spine.
The woman smiled, then opened her eyes, which were a sleek mossy-emerald.
"Hello, Champion. What is your name?"
Stepping forward, the silver flakes fell from her form.
As they did, the first thing Vale noticed was...
’She’s naked...?’
That was undoubtedly a first, seeing as, from what he thought, Champions got summoned with a familiar set of clothes.
But perhaps her birthday suit was her preferred form.
"My name is Naiad, seeker."
"Seeker?"
"Yes... the one who seeks to be my Master."
The beautiful woman smiled while not so secretly eyeing up Vale’s body; a lecherous glare staining her delicate face as her eyes drifted south from his face to his chest.
’How straightforward...’
"Naiad. You may call me Vale — Master Vale."
The woman dipped her head, letting a few silver strands fall into her face. It was as she did that her eyes fell from his chest to his belt.
"Very well, Master Vale."
Vale stood where he was.
Despite knowing what he needed to do, he felt he ought to get to know her first, even if that wasn’t what she wanted.
Vale’s eyes studied the woman’s delicate body. Her smooth, ivory skin. Her modest breasts and the oddly silver peaks adorning them.
"What was your calling? What did the Voice tempt you with?"
"My calling?" The woman smiled, taking a step toward Vale. "Pleasure..."
’Oh...’
Lust...
This was the first time a being who only sought Lust had made its way to the Dungeon of Lust!
’Is this worthy of celebration?’
"Not revenge on the Scourge?"
Naiad took another step forward, her lascivious glare trailing back up to Vale’s eyes.
"Revenge for what? They’ve done nothing to me."
Seeing as she knew of them, she was definitely from Kaldora. But...
’Nothing?’
"Have they not destroyed your world?"
"They merely got rid of the ones destroying it, returning it to something pure."
That was also a first...
’A Corrupted sympathizer?!’
Vale was tempted to call her ’odd,’ but decided against it. It wouldn’t be the best first impression.

’The Corrupted most definitely are the opposite of "pure."’
However...
What type of being was she to speak so casually about the Scourge in that fashion? She looked human, but from what Vale sensed, she was most definitely not.
With a slight grin stretching across her face, Naiad placed a hand on Vale’s chest, feeling the ridges.
"Oh my..." Naiad’s mossy eyes widened. "You do indeed have a vast wealth of cupidity stored within your Essence."
Naiad giggled, then slid that hand across his chest and around his neck.
"Well, I am the Master of Lust. Would you expect any less?"
"Of course not."
Vale lifted his own arm and brought it to her naked form, tracing her hip with his fingers.
"Why did you speak cordially of those untamed beasts?"
Naiad pulled at his neck, trying to lower it to kiss him, but Vale resisted, determined to receive an answer first.
A small exhale escaped her nose as she said:
"The humans drove me from my home into some remote corner of the sea... why should I care if their home is destroyed?"
To that, Vale couldn’t help but give an awkward nod.
’That actually makes a bit of sense.’
"Fair enough."
Vale stopped resisting, letting her pull his head down to hers, their lips intertwining.
