Chapter 6114: I Don’t Want To Be A Ghost

Chapter 6114: I Don’t Want To Be A Ghost

“Consolidate!” Li Qiye finished deriving the runes and understood their origin, karma, and mysteries.

“Pop!” The runes came together to form a figure - the creator of the dao.

“It’s him!” Coiling Moon shouted in astonishment while staggering backward, unable to accept this reality.

“He created it…” He trembled while murmuring.

“Pop!” Li Qiye waved his hand and the runes turned to ashes.

“A loophole indeed, not just Fire Ancestor.” Li Qiye said.

“And, and the three immortals?” He asked. Praymoon taking over Coiling Dragon was shocking, but it was nothing compared to this. Someone else did something similar to all of Three Immortals.

“Their kindness led to their downfall, not to outsiders but to their own.” Li Qiye said.

He didn’t dare to respond due to the gravity of the situation.

After a while, he murmured: “So it wasn’t a battle between immortals I saw, but absorption…”

“You were taking over someone’s nest, while the true thing is taking everything.” Li Qiye said.

“It’s like a serpent swallowing an elephant.” He murmured.

Li Qiye didn’t say anything while staring at the horizon.

“Sir, may I go now?” Eventually, he rubbed his palms and asked with an awkward smile.

Li Qiye looked back at him and said: “Wow, a successful takeover.”

“Didn’t we say I was only clinging to dear life after losing the bet…” He waved his hand.

“No, I see a complete takeover.” Li Qiye interrupted and raised his hand, conjuring a ghost seal in the temple lord’s corpse.

“No?!” He shouted in horror but it was too late. A crescent seal also appeared on him.

“Ahh!” Smoke emanated around him as his vitality, true fate, and everything else fused with Darkmoon Temple.

His screams echoed during the process. At its conclusion, he dropped weakly to the ground.

“Congratulations, now you are the real temple lord of Darkmoon, you have gotten your wish.” Li Qiye said with a smile.

He looked like he was at a funeral but still had to force a smile: “Sir, I, I never wanted to be a ghost…”

“You can’t possibly be greedy enough to think about escaping unscathed. Moreover, this was not your first time doing something like this, you finally got what you wanted.” Li Qiye said.

“I want to leave the major ghost market…” He complained.

“This is karma. Now with a successful takeover, do your best to be a good ghost in this temple, perhaps you will live far longer, not a bad thing at all.” Li Qiye shrugged.

“What’s the point of living longer while being imprisoned here?” He thought about committing suicide, going from an emperor to a ghost.

“Then should I send you on your way?” Li Qiye said: “A quick trip to the reincarnation cycle.”

“Wait, wait.” He immediately responded: “Thank you for your benevolent suggestion, Sir, but it’s better to live pitifully than to die a swift death.”

His initial wish was to take what he wanted from the temple and leave. It ended with him becoming a puppet master but he was still alive.

Now, Li Qiye turned him into a grand ghost to inherit the temple. Alas, this was still better than dying.

Endlaw and Yangrune Emperor gazed at Darkmoon Heaventouch Lifegrass - their goal for this trip.

Yangrune reached for it first but someone else knocked his hand away, causing him to stagger backward.

“Endlaw!” His eyes gleamed with murderous intent.

“I also want it, Fellow Daoist.” Endlaw blocked his path.

“All for yourself?!” Yangrune summoned his majestic anima tree. When an apex emperor mustered all of his strength, the shockwaves could drown the world.

“We will see if you can stop me.” Endlaw said.

Although Endlaw had no lifespan left, his curse was rather formidable. Yangrune feared during his prime state, let alone taking into account his current injuries.

Cultivators and ghosts watch with bated breath, eagerly wanting to see a fight between them.

“Hmph.” An unbearable inferno manifested into reality: “Endlaw, don’t push it.”

Bloodsparrow Emperor appeared in the air.

“She didn’t leave.” A spectator said. They thought she had departed after Tranquility Emperor’s mediation.

“I’m still here.” A white-haired swordsman showed up, ready to defend a fellow member of Enigma regardless of the time and place.

“You alone, Disaster?” Bloodsparrow looked down on him.

“Count me in as well.” A stalwart figure with a draconic aura landed next to him: “We will take on Yangrune.”

This old man’s battle intent surged, eager for a battle.
