“Invite who?” Pill was confused.

“I thought you invited him here to help you catch the fish.” The turtle-shell man became frustrated: “If not, how did he get here? Our Lake World isn’t available to outsiders, only to geezers like us.” 

Pill hasn’t thought about this carefully yet. He recalled the appearance of the youth and didn’t know him.

“Let me ask the deer brat.” Pill regained his wits and suggested.

“You go, I have to clean up since my nest broke down.” The turtle-shell man mumbled before entering the lake again.

Pill wasted no time in going back, seeing the deer eating the leaves happily.

“Who was that person earlier?” Pill asked.

“Who?” The deer didn’t go back to humanoid form while speaking.

“Alch-deer, is there something wrong with your head? I’m talking about the person who fixed your dao bone.” Pill knocked on the deer’s head.

“Him? I thought you invited him since I saw him leading a school of rainbow fish. Everyone in the sect knows you want them.” The deer said.

“Where did this outsider come from?” Pill became frustrated and said.

“How do I know? I don’t have such a strong friend, he’s stronger than you for sure, summoning rainbow fish with each step. You can’t do that.” The deer said.

“As if you can.” Pill glared at him.

“Elder Pill, you’re at the world’s canopy stage while I only have one dao fruit, I’m just a beginner in comparison.” He smiled and said.

“Are you itchy right now? Maybe I should peel your skin and refine you into a pill.” Pill gritted his teeth.

He became afraid and smiled wryly: “I’m just kidding, when are you going to give me a good bottle of pills though?”

“Never.” Pill was vexed since he couldn’t get a single fish.

“Okay, Elder Pill, let’s be reasonable here, am I not your longest friend at Imperial Pill Peak? What’s a bottle between best friends?” He said.

“Scram.” Pill glared at him, causing him to go back to eating leaves.

After a while, Pill calmed down and murmured: “I wonder where he is from.”

“I don’t know.” The deer said: “Must be someone’s invited friend, not like people are going to announce visitors.”

Pill’s strong glare caused him to add: “Am I not right, you’re not going to introduce me to your friends if they come.”

“Maybe an enemy.” Pill stroked his chin.

He stopped chewing and said: “Doesn’t look that way, he’s definitely a good guy. My dao bone was crooked for so long but he fixed it for me. Would an enemy do this?”

“You have zero integrity.” Pill said.

“I’m just speaking the truth.” He had no issue with his logic: “Everyone couldn’t do a thing but this man, he’s special.”

“That’s the main issue, who is he?” Pill wondered.

“Right, someone like him in Old World. Dugu Yuan?” He said.

“Not Dugu Yuan. We can do anything he can.” Pill glared at him.

“Then I have no idea.” He rubbed his chin with his hoof.

“Someone from Heaven World?” Pill said.

“Could be a friend of our ancestor. An enemy would have come with bloodlust.” He said.

“Can you stop being on his side? We don’t know if he’s friend or foe yet.” Pill said.

“I trust my deer intuition.” He responded.

“Then answer me this, why did he shift the dimension of the four lakes? Where is he going?” Pill said.

“I didn’t know you could do that.” He said.

“I didn’t know either…” Pill was frustrated.

“How about a friend from an ancestor in Ancestral Domain? Be more optimistic.” He said.

“No appearance after Ancestor Jiang’s death?” He paused briefly before asking.

“Ancestor North Kun returned but nothing was left, not his body or anything to be buried.” Pill said.

“This Ancestor North Kun is ridiculous too, never spending time with juniors like us, let alone teach us anything. Never saw him in Desolate Domain before.” He complained.

“He’s in isolated training now, perhaps the last one.” Pill sighed.

“Now that sounds ominous.” He said.

“He didn’t say anything and left after leaving some items from Everlasting Jiang. Ancestor Whale explained that he saw an opportunity to break through.” Pill said.

“Just like Ancestor Jiang?” He murmured.

“Ancestor North Kun said nothing about the experience so we have no new information. He left right away.” Pill said.
