However, one person managed to stop her dao with a boundless pillar. Stars shattered around him but he was perfectly fine.

“Fellow Daoist, your new dao is incredible.” He couldn’t help but praise.

Everyone looked over and saw a man in green. His clothing was simple and worn; his hair was casually tied and somewhat messy with a few strands drifting across his forehead. He hadn’t shaved in days and stubble had begun to show on his face, giving him a rugged appearance.

However, his eyes were exceptionally bright like a wolf’s eyes gleaming in the night, visible even from afar.

His posture was tall and upright like a lone pine tree in a snowy landscape, unbending against the elements.

A man like this gave off the impression that he alone could bear the weight of the entire heavens.

“Who is he?” Many big shots in Heaven World didn’t recognize this middle-aged man.

“So powerful.” They saw him blocking the dao unscathed.

“Dugu Yuan.” Jiu Ning recognized him.

“That Dugu Yuan?” A few primal ancestors and heaven-slayers heard this name before.

“The only one with this name.” A primal ancestor murmured.

This was a mythical genius who had refused Dingtian’s recruitment to be his disciple.

Dingtian was a supreme immortal with only one equal - Desolate Ancestor. Becoming his disciple was a great honor and fortune.

However, Dugu Yuan was a proud lone wolf who had no intention of kneeling before Dingtian. He was not punished for his pride; his innate talent made up for a lack of guidance.

“Isn’t he in Old World?” An emperor wondered.

“Looks like you are finding an opportunity to break through in Heaven World.” Jiu Ning knew the answer.

“I believe my opportunity is right here and now, would you give it up?” Dugu Yuan gazed at Time Stopper.

“You’re not the only one.” Godstallion appeared.

“Dingtian’s hound wants to play too?” A noble-looking youth strolled through space with a crystalline glow, making him sparkle like a star.

The most remarkable thing about him was a gauntlet in his right hand, seemingly made from divine leather.

Despite his dazzling and ethereal appearance, all eyes were drawn to that hand.
