Chapter 6925: Repay A Debt

Chapter 6925: Repay A Debt

“Speak.” Li Qiye commanded.

“That baldy must have sold me.” He murmured: “I told him not to, now here we are.”

“Okay?” Li Qiye became impatient.

“Immortal, I didn’t see it myself.” He said: “A friend told me about some missing members of Guardian Alliance. I wanted to be of use so I passed this news.”

“Wanted to sell it, you mean.” Li Qiye smiled.

“No, I wanted to repay a debt, that’s all...” He said, wanting to paint himself in a good light.

He was aware of Duality Enterprise’s relationship with Guardian Alliance. Thus, he came to the store upon finding out.

Outside of profit, he also owed Duality Master a debt due to the pardon order.

“Either way, what is it?” Li Qiye said.

“Immortal, I heard it from a friend, so I’ll take you to the source.” He said.

“I see, the logic of better you than me.” Li Qiye smiled.

“I just don’t want to say something wrong and delay your business, Immortal.” He smiled wryly.

He thought it was best to transfer accountability. After all, just one wrong statement and it could end with his death.

He brought Li Qiye to an oceanic firmament where a battle was currently underway between top cultivators and a gigantic octopus.

The octopus’ swinging tentacles caused a massive tsunami. It had a blue glow and was an overlord.

“Boom!” It sent many emperors flying and reduced them to bloody mists.

“Ants, how dare you offend a god?” The octopus descended, wanting to wipe out this world.

An overlord was simply overwhelming and could destroy a firmament at a whim.

“Who is it?!” He stopped after feeling another overlord’s presence behind him.

“Brother, it’s me.” Timeflow Lord waved.

“Brother, can you wait? I have to deal with these ants first.” He frowned.

“No.” Timeflow shook his head and introduced: “Immortal, he’s a good friend, the famous Cerulean Dao God.”

“Brother, we’ll talk in a bit, I’m still angry.” He noticed that Li Qiye was a mortal and didn’t think much of it.

“There’s no time to wait.” Timeflow grabbed him and said: “This is urgent.”

“What is it?” He asked, clearly unhappy.

“Do you know about the missing people from Guardian Alliance?” Li Qiye asked.

“So what if I do?” Cerulean cared not for a mortal.

“Tell me everything you know.” Li Qiye said.

“Brother, you brought such an interesting mortal with you, daring to give me orders? He must be tired of living. However, I will spare him out of respect for you.” Cerulean paused for a moment before laughing.

“Brother, tell us what you know before it’s too late.” Timeflow winked at him.

Cerulean took another look and sure enough, the guy was just a mortal.

“Brother, I don’t know why you are here but this matter is not a joke.” Cerulean said: “Neither you nor I can interfere, it’s best not to ask about it since we can’t mess with either party.”

“It’s too late for that, just tell him.” Timeflow urged.

“Brother, I’m not getting involved.” Cerulean became annoyed.

“It’s not up to you, tell us what you know.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Child, do you know who I am?” Cerulean laughed at the lesser being.

“No.” Li Qiye said.

“Then I will let you know now.” Cerulean swung one tentacle to punish him out of consideration for his friend.

Timeflow turned his head away, not daring to look.

“Bam!” As he expected, his octopus friend became suppressed despite Li Qiye not lifting a single finger.

Cerulean felt as if a supreme immortal was stomping down on him.

“Attacking over such a little thing?” Li Qiye shook his head and tore the octopus into two halves, grasping the escaping true fate.

“I’ll read your mind since you won’t talk.” He smiled.

“Please spare me!” The frightened Cerulean begged for mercy.

“Immortal, please forgive my friend.” Timeflow couldn’t just watch.
