Chapter 7056: Please Spare Me
Chapter 7056: Please Spare Me
Ash-serpent and Immortal Bronze couldn’t get used to Li Qiye treating them like air. After all, even Heavenfall and Dusk’s group addressed them as “fellow daoists”.
Regardless of his strength, treating them with utter disdain was still unacceptable. Moreover, he looked down on their ace cards.
“You do not realize this is your final hour. Your strength matters not, even if it rivals the high heaven.” Immortal Bronze uttered coldly.
“Is that so?” Li Qiye smirked.
“That’s right, you will not have a grave in this ocean of tribulations.” Ash-serpent shouted.
“How amusing, the ones to die won’t be me today.” Li Qiye said and reached for the two.
Keep in mind that he was deep in the ocean of tribulations while Ash-serpent and Immortal Bronze remained on the shore.
“You dare?!” Those submerged in the water roared and attacked in unison.
“Rumble!” One performed a dao slash, another unleashed eight saber variations, and the third summoned a cauldron...
Numerous weapons soared in his direction but he was fixated on the two targets alone. This left the crowd stunned since the attackers included primordial immortals.
The duo was horrified. Immortal Bronze fled while Ash-serpent was furious and spat out his supreme particle in the fire affinity, wanting to pierce Li Qiye’s hand.
“Bam!” Li Qiye pushed through the fiery particle and grasped Ash-serpent with both hands.
As a virtually formless being, Ash-serpent could stretch infinitely with his particles. However, Li Qiye pulled the particles and crushed them entirely.
“Nooo!” Ash-serpent screamed in agony from the unbearable pain. While others died by being reduced to dust or burned to ashes, he was being obliterated at the particle level.
The fate of his ally only made Immortal Bronze more determined to get away from Li Qiye. Alas, fleeing on the river of time and through dimensions was insufficient. He could feel the hand of death looming closer.
“Great immortal, please spare me!” He shouted after being caught.
“Unfortunately, it is too late.” Li Qiye shook his head and increased his grip.
“Zzz...” A searing and melting sound could be heard while Immortal Bronze let out a piercing scream - one no less miserable than that of the late Ash-serpent.
As Li Qiye’s fingers closed in, his body slowly melted into molten copper of immeasurable temperature, inch by inch.
He endured pain beyond compare, a fate worse than death.
“Give me a swift end!” He only wished to die without further torment.
“That, I can grant you.” Li Qiye smiled and squeezed harder, fully melting him.
He received the mercy he sought - the sweet release of death.
