“I suppose I just need to tear you apart for a closer look to find the answer.” Li Qiye smiled at Dragongrasp.

“You can try.” Dragongrasp disappeared so fast that even primordial immortals couldn’t see his movement.

The celestial ones without paramita bodies only saw him flashing and losing sight.

“Buzz.” When he appeared again, he was coiling around Li Qiye.

“So fast?!” Spectators shouted because both events seemed to happen simultaneously.

“Devour!” He roared after coiling tightly around Li Qiye.

Heavenrealm seemed to be constricted as well, breaking down from the outer edges of the minor worlds. Other immortals could only watch the process, feeling a sharp pain.

However, the dragon couldn’t break Li Qiye as if he were the toughest entity in existence, akin to a python unable to constrict a bulky block of metal.

“Scram.” Li Qiye uttered and smacked the dragon.

The latter crumbled entirely but the affinities rebuilt the shape instantly.

“Hard to kill.” An immortal commented.

Everyone knew Li Qiye could kill a primordial immortal with one swing. However, the celestial immortal healed immediately. Was this the coveted stage of indestructibility?

“Raa!” The dragon teleported again for another bite. His moves were so simple and untouched by the grand dao, no different from a street thug fighting.

Nonetheless, the crowd couldn’t question their potency and raw power.

Li Qiye held the dragon’s jaw and tore it apart, prompting terrible screams. The gruesome scene aside, the dragon’s two parts came together again for another attack.

This was repeated four times to the crowd’s astonishment. Dragongrasp was relentless despite Li Qiye’s seeming superiority.

“Is there any way to kill him?” A golden immortal said after seeing one dragon appear, one after another. The target would die from exhaustion first.

“Endless derivation cycles.” Heaven’s Equal said.

“Perhaps, his body and life are derived from the affinities, it can be endless since he is not alive in the same sense as we are. He is a power, a principle.” A golden immortal said.

“But he appears to be a lifeform, no different than anyone.” Someone disagreed.

“Either way, this undying nature is real.” Another said enviously. This was the state they all sought after - everlasting life and indestructibility.
