Chapter 7098: Should Go
Chapter 7098: Should Go
“Since you weren’t trying to find me, you must have been looking for those two girls.” She changed the topic.
“Two girls?” He frowned slightly.
“Then who were you looking for? The cute one or the stone one?” She laughed.
“If both are here, then both.” He smiled.
“Dog, can’t refuse anyone.” She joked.
“The more, the merrier.” He said.
“A passerby such as yourself is no different from a moon in the water, don’t toy with people’s feelings.” She said.
“It’s karma.” He said softly.
“Karma? More like you're being inconsiderate and emotionless upon reaching the supreme state.” She said.
“If I were emotionless, this world would be no more.” He disagreed.
“This is what they call when affection lasts too long, it turns thin, and once thin enough, it disappears, and you have too many affections.” She said.
“Because I was born a human, not a god or an immortal.” He smiled.
This caused her to pause.
“That’s why we are a little different. I was once just another mortal. What I sever is the root of vexation, as for you, the root of the high heaven.” He stroked her hair.
“So the top is emotionless.” She said softly.
“The high heaven has emotions, just different from anyone else.” He said: “As for me, I have experienced this wonderful world. There can be no perfection and anything resembling such is a disguise for a sinister plan.”
“Go find your girls.” She stood up and said.
“It’s time to say goodbye.” He patted her shoulder before controlling Heaven Essence Platform. Tribulations and life liquid flowed from it into the bottom of the abyss.
“The enforcer descended from there. She waited for a long time, this was her first stop in Heavenrealm.” She said.
“Yes.” Li Qiye glanced upward before stomping on the platform. All the tribulations and life liquid surged back into the platform to form a pulse.
This resembled the enforcer’s slash, just without the fatal power. When the pulse struck the sky above the abyss, it formed a gate resembling an inverted bowl. Perhaps the high heaven resided beyond this place and created tribulations there.
“I’m going.” He said.
“Goodbye, bastard.” She hugged him tightly.
“I hope you will be able to sever the root.” He hugged her back and said.
“Go now.” She pushed him away and smiled.
“Boom!” He smiled back before leaping into the air, disappearing into the new gate.
She stood below and watched the gate disappear into nothingness. She sighed and said: “Not that easy being at the top.”

“Boom!” Li Qiye entered a new world beyond the gate.
Everything was chaos and tribulations - a nascent stage before life. Due to a lack of time and space, the tribulations appeared to be everywhere at once.
A major one had arcs surging from it, resembling a main tree root with numerous branches. This somehow resembled a tree of life growing in the chaos.
All along, tribulations represented death and destruction. Here, it somehow represented life and hope.
The core of the chaos had a thicker aura than the rest. The tribulations in this place were thick and pure, seemingly made from the best essences available.
They were gentle, not violent like those seen in Ruin. They occasionally left the core, creating marks and signs of life.
Two women sat in the meditative pose opposite each other. Who knows how much time had passed since time was not a concept in this place.
One sat beneath a bamboo tree while the other held an ancient pot. The one beneath there looked more like a stone figure, wearing a divine crown with tassels draping down and obscuring her face. She wore a gown capable of containing the cosmos, giving off an enigmatic sense.
The bamboo behind her only had branches and a few leaves growing at the very top, swaying gently and playfully. It was rooted in a pond of tribulations, not harmed by the lightning affinity. It appeared to be absorbing the tribulations and refining them further. One could only imagine the result.
However, upon seeing the life liquid on the leaves at the top, the answer was clear. Li Qiye had done something like this before. Due to his current cultivation, he could refine tribulations into pure life liquid with his bare hands.
This bamboo was still far inferior in comparison.
