Chapter 754: Our Favorite Place In The Palace

Chapter 754: Our Favorite Place In The Palace

“And that’s everything I know… for now, at least,” Alex said. “Do the two of you have any more questions?”

At the moment, the three of them were seated around a table, discussing their current situation. Since Aeris was smart, she immediately grasped their current situation without too many problems.

Yet, one question remained.

“You said we need to resolve some kind of conflict in order to escape this place before our Synchronization Rate reaches a hundred percent, right?” Aeris asked.

“If so, the best thing you can do right now is mobilize your subordinates to scout the kingdom and the neighboring lands for any potential problems. Perhaps a clue will reach us soon once they’re done. This should be easy for you. After all, you are King Aetherion.”

She then looked at Alex with a complicated gaze.

King Aetherion was the founder of the Kingdom of Faelarun before he suddenly disappeared from the world.

No one knew where he went. However, according to the records, the Elven King left with his Dragon Queen, as well as her human concubine, Lazuli.

The only one who stayed in the kingdom was his elf concubine, Ariel Sylvarin… who eventually gave birth to the next Elf King.

And that same Ariel Sylvarin was none other than the role Aeris was playing at the moment.

“That’s a sound plan.” Alex agreed that Aeris’ proposal was the most ideal right now. With his current position as the King of the Elves, he could order anyone in the kingdom. “This will save us a lot of time.”

This would yield far better results than Alex going outside to gather information by himself.

“Have you seen your mother?” Alex asked Aeris.

“…Yes.” Aeris bit her lip. “It hurts to see her look at me as if I’m some kind of stranger.”

Lapiz nodded in understanding. She had felt the same after meeting her mother for the first time.

She felt so sad and helpless after the encounter that all she did was cry in her arms. Alex also noticed that Lapiz’s eyes were a little red and her cheeks a little wet when he entered the room earlier.

“Don’t worry. As long as we all work together, we will be able to overcome these challenges,” Alex assured them.

“I’ll trust you.” Aeris nodded.

Suddenly, they heard a knock on the door.

“Who is it?” Alex asked.

“It’s Elaris, Your Majesty,” Elaris replied. “I brought you dinner.”

Alex glanced at Aeris and Lapiz before giving his reply.

“Come in.”

The door opened, and soon, Elaris entered. A few seconds later, several more maids pushing food carts moved toward the table, then carefully placed the dishes they had prepared on the table.

“Her Majesty has already eaten,” Elaris said while the maids were setting up the table. “She also asked me to pass a message on to you. She said…”

The Head Maid hesitated at first, but after receiving Alex’s encouragement, she finally passed on the message that Astrea had asked her to say to Alex.

“You’re sleeping outside the bedroom tonight,” Elaris said calmly. “If you sneak onto the bed, I’ll bite you. That is what Her Majesty said.”

“I see.” Alex nodded. “Thank you for delivering her message, Elaris.”

“You’re welcome, Your Majesty,” Elaris replied. “This is very normal for couples. So, make sure to have a proper talk with Her Majesty so you’ll be allowed to sleep with her tomorrow.”

The young man suddenly felt two cold stares pierce the side of his body, which made him stiffen in response.

He didn’t need to be a genius to know where those stares were coming from.

Once everything was set up, Elaris then led the maids out of the room, leaving Alex and his concubines to eat in peace. They would return at a later time to clean everything up.

“Who is your Queen?” Aeris asked in a teasing tone. “Is it Nessia?”

“God forbid. Of course not,” Alex replied. “It’s Astrea.”

“Astrea?” Lapiz looked back at Alex in confusion. “As in Astrea Nocturne?”

“Yes.” Alex nodded. “That Astrea Nocturne. My Singing Queen.”

“How did she get here?” Aeris frowned. “Is that even possible? Or does she only look and act like Astrea?”

“She is Astrea,” Alex replied. “She said that she suddenly found herself here because she wished on an Everblossom Flower that she wanted to see me.”

“…”

“…She did?”

Aeris was speechless, while Lapiz asked doubtfully.

The young man could understand their reactions. After all, he made the same face when Astrea told him the possible reason why she had suddenly appeared in this world.

“So, the companions we have in this castle are Astrea, Chuck, and Eleanora, right?” Aeris asked in confirmation. “You also said that Eleanora seems to have a high Synchronization Rate and could no longer recall her real name.”

“That’s right.” Alex nodded. “I’m sure we will find the others sooner or later. For now, let’s eat.”

Since they had already discussed everything, the only thing they needed to do was eat and rest. Perhaps they would get more information when they woke up in the morning.

Perhaps it was out of stress toward their current situation, but the three actually managed to eat a lot. Aeris and Lapiz were even surprised since the food here was more delicious than what they grew up eating in their palace.

Of course, the two palaces mentioned were the same.

With that said, both ladies were familiar with its layout, so Alex asked them to give him a tour after dinner. That way, he could familiarize himself with the surroundings.

Half an hour later, they finished eating and went on a tour just as they had planned.

No one stopped them, but the guards gave their King mischievous smirks, as if understanding that Alex was taking his concubines out for a stroll.

“This is our favorite place in the palace,” Aeris said as she leaned on the balcony that overlooked Everdawn City. “Although the scene here isn’t the same as what I was used to, it still feels the same.”

“That’s also how I feel, Sister,” Lapiz replied as she gazed down toward the city, which was smaller compared to what she remembered.

She then shuddered after a breeze blew past them.

Lapiz and Aeris were both currently wearing shawls over their nightdresses. However, that didn’t change the fact that the night was still chilly.

[Synchronization Rate: 13%]

Alex suddenly found himself pulling both girls to his side before hugging them both.

Of course, Aeris and Lapiz were both surprised by this act. Yet, for some reason, they didn’t resist or pull back.

They simply stayed in his embrace as they looked at the city together.

A few minutes later, the three returned to the bedroom.

The table had already been cleared out, with everything else returned to its clean and normal state.

Soon, the rustling of clothes echoed silently inside the room.

A moment later, the sweet sighs of the two beautiful sisters escaped from their soft and tender lips.

Unexpectedly, the three of them had entered a state of Synchronization at the same time, unable to control the passion that was building up inside their bodies.
