"Phew… I-I can't… believe this…" he muttered. "Everything was delicious! So good! This must be the first time I taste food that actually felt delicious to me!"
"R-Really?" Araña asked happily. "Oh, master! I am so happy!"
"Was it truly that good, master?" Medea asked. "I am so happy too…"
"So?" I asked. "Be honest and don't lie… did it satiate you or not?"
"…"
He remained in silence, if he lied, I would instantly know due to the fluctuation of energies around him, he had never been good at lying.
"To tell you the truth…"
The tension became heavier and heavier, as I gulped saliva nervously.
Araña, Medea, Ismena, Acelina, and I looked at him without saying a word.
Until…
"I do feel quite satisfied, indeed. The hunger pains I get are gone… I can calculate this could last for around a week! I don't think I need to eat this every day."
"R-Really?!" we asked in unison.
"Yes, really," he nodded, feeling moved. "I can hardly believe it myself… all this time, the solution to my problems were within my daughter's Realm… this is another of my wife's gifts to me. I… Ugh…"
Father suddenly started crying again, moved by the delicious meal he had, and that his terrible flaw could finally be fixed, perhaps not permanently, but it worked pretty well, and I can always keep growing more ingredients as well.
"I was… so foolish…" he muttered. "My daughter… I'm sorry… for being so stupid all this time… I tried to shield you from reality… from the truth… but at the end, it did the complete opposite…"
"Master…" Medea muttered, surprised to see father crying, this might be her first time seeing him this way maybe.
"It's alright father, please don't shed another tear," I said, sitting by his side. "You've done well all this time… and I am sure mother would be proud of what you've done and what you've become. You're no longer a monster, you're a father… my father!"
"Kireina…" he muttered, feeling moved.
Whatever he was in the original timeline, in the universe where I came from, it was another story altogether. Perhaps he was a villain in that world, a monster that was ultimately slain by Frank.
But the person in front of me wasn't that monster, no, he changed, perhaps thanks to Mother, and me… Fate can truly be incredible sometimes, doing hilarious things when you least expect them, such as this.
I always yearned for a true family, to be born with a mother and a father the proper way, even after learning of my true origins as the sister of some monstrous goddesses beyond this dimension, I simply couldn't care less.
That story, and even their motivation to find me, was inconsequential to me, they were never my family, and they will never be.
My family was with all the people I've loved, with all my precious children, and of course, with my mother, Chaos, and my father here.
"Alright, now that you feel better, we can concentrate in other things, right?" I said. "Leave Frank alone, ok? That's all I ask… About Mount Takao, we're tackling that next weekend, I believe… Oh, and about my friends, I'll bring them here soon."
"Very well…" He nodded. "There's a lot to do and cover as well, recently we've gotten reports of new criminal organizations showing up around the city, new thugs wandering the streets thinking they own the place…"
"Oh? Really?" I wondered.
"Yeah, but they're nothing, we can take care of them quickly, if they aren't already taken care by the other three main groups in the city…" my father said. "So don't worry, Kireina."
"Hmmm, which places do they visit?" I wondered. "Might as well check them out if I walk closer while going to school."
"I told you that you don't have to bother with such measly things…!" he reprimanded me. "However… if you really want to, I guess… They mostly are within Shibuya right now, but they're moving around it too."
"Shibuya… that's Werewolf territory," Medea said. "Doesn't Beowulf live there? I doubt that damn dog will let some brats wander around… Hmph, though I haven't forgotten what he did to me… we'll make them all pay, eventually, right master?"
"Oh, but of course," my father smiled evilly. "We must simply amass our strength… Eventually, I even plan to invade the Divine Realm of the Kami. If I can secure their entire Divine Realm we could further ascend into Japan's true and only gods… Isn't that exciting, Kireina?"
"Huh, it does sound quite fun, quite honestly," I said with a nod. "I don't really know any of those gods though…"
Honestly, I am no goody two shoes, and I couldn't honestly care less what happens to those Gods, if my father wants them dead then we might as well see it till the end.
Yeah I am still quite villainous myself… I only mostly care about my own world's gods to a little extent, but only those I've allied.
But these Kami? Meh, I'm mostly neutral, but I'll lean to whatever my father say.
I doubt Frank cares as well, right?
Though he's allied with the Amaterasu Clan… hm, wait, perhaps he'll try to fight in their side.
That might create a very dramatic event, and I would rather not have it…
But before that ever happens, I'm sure he'll regain his memories anyway.
Actually, now that I think about it…
"Father I've heard that members of this organization get to accept missions and if they complete them, they can earn rewards, right?" I asked. "Some rewards that not even I am allowed to get my hands into…"
"Oh, you mean the jobs?" he asked. "But why would you ever… Ah well, now that you're officially part of the organization… Hmm, it would be good if you started doing some jobs, sometimes, so you can show the rest of the organization that you're serious about this."
"See? Yeah! So please alongside making me an official member, let me accept missions," I said with a nod.
