Chapter 2082: The Little Dragon Prince Of The Aquarius Archipelago

As mother and daughter cried while thanking Drake, he nodded at them, walking towards a little boy and his mother.

"It seems you're all alright, I'm glad," she said with a gentle, motherly voice. "Triton is fine, don't worry!"

"I'm glad you're alright…" Coral cried.

"Y-Yeah… Triton, you sure you ok buddy?" Rose asked.

"I'm fine!" Triton said angrily, furrowing his eyebrows. "I was just angry! I was biting the chains… if you had taken another day, I would've freed everyone anyway-"

"Hey! Nice to meet you again, kiddo, remember me?" Drake said, greeting the young Sea Dragon.

"Huh? And who's this old man?!" Triton said angrily.

The boy resembled mostly a merman, with a slender body, clear blue skin, scales here and there, gills on his neck, and long blue hair, with sharp blue eyes.

However, he also had coral-like horns growing over his forehead, and he wore loose white pants and seemed to be topless, wearing golden accessories.

He looked like a kid at their ten years of age, despite being much younger, his metabolism was fast as mermen grew quickly too, and also for being a divine dragon.

"Triton! How could you not remember him?!" His mother, who looked quite like him, laughed at Triton's words. "He's Lord Drake, you're talking to the Dragon King right now!"

"D-Dragon King?!" Triton asked. "This old man?"

"Hahahaha!" Drake laughed out loud, although Triton's mother feared him getting angered, it was the complete opposite, Drake found him completely endearing. "Attaboy! He got some attitude! I like that!" He patted his head. "Last time I saw him, he was just a lil' baby. He sure grew fast!"

"Y-Yes, he did…" Sapphire smiled gently, she was the once hated "Witch" that people blamed for their problems, before it was revealed she was an Ancient Priestess that had married the Divine Sea Dragon Aquarius, the protector of this Archipelago and its people. "He had spent a few years within my husband's Divine Realm, which remains within the Temple's Ruins, sealed, which only we can access."

"I see!" Drake nodded. "Well! It's nice to meet you again, Sapphire, your son looks healthy and big! I'm glad you've worked hard for him."

"Thank you Lord Drake, it's an honor to receive so much praise from you, our savior," Sapphire lowered her head.

"Mom stop lowering your head…" Triton felt embarrassed. "S-So you were the one that beat that guy, old man?"

"Yeah," Drake nodded. "He was pretty strong! Did you fight him as well?"

"I tried but he was… he beat me with a single blow…" Triton groaned. "B-But if I had managed to transform into my true dragon form, I would've won! He just didn't let me! He's a coward!"

"Well, he's gone now, no reason to talk badly about him now," Drake said. "There's a lot left to do but… Honestly, I'm quite looking forward to seeing your progress so far, Triton! Sapphire, has he been training?"

"Yes, I have not neglected his training," she nodded. "I have taught him magic, mathematics, language, alchemy, and more, and of course, he has fought many sea monsters, eaten them, and grown stronger over time. He, Coral, Rose, and Eleanor are now inseparable friends, and they keep the island protected from ocean monsters, fufu."

She was very proud of her son, caressing his little head with a gentle smile.

"M-mom stop stroking my head, it's embarrassing…" Triton said angrily. "Um, hey old man! So if you were that strong, how about we spar a little?! I bet you're all lies, ain't no way there's an actual Dragon King! Mom said we were really few!"

"Hahahah! Fine, sure," Drake nodded. "I want to see your dragon form after all, but aren't you hungry?"

"Uuhh," Triton cutely patted his belly, as it made quite a few rumbling sounds of hunger. "Maybeeee…"

"Heh! Okay then, let's have a feast to feed everyone and celebrate our victory today," Drake said. "Once we're done with that, we can spar, although I plan to rebuild the kingdom city too."

"Y-You would go so far for us, Lord Drake?" Sapphire was moved. "B-But why? You don't really need to help us too much; we can do the rest ourselves… we wouldn't want to become dependent."

"Oh, so that's it huh?" Drake wondered. "Well, if you insist, then I'll leave reconstruction to the people and you. There's a lot of other things we need to address, such as this invasion, the soldiers that surrendered, and the giant portal to Zipangu behind this island, which might not close for a while now…"

"Zipangu… is that the world where that man and his army came from?" Sapphire asked. "I remember him saying something about the "Demon King Oda Nobunaga" and that this land was now that man's property… we resisted, but of course, he fought us and won… capturing us."

"So he goes with a Demon King title, huh?" Drake wondered. "Well, whatever the case, let's start the feast!"

It didn't take long for Drake to quickly cook up a massive feast, with the help of his Cooking Spirits, which he could now evolve into even stronger Divine Cooking Spirits, a feast was cooked up in just a few minutes.

The anemic, exhausted people that had been recently healed by Benladra and everyone else were able to enjoy a delicious, comforting meal, alongside a speech from their current queen, the Priestess of the Sea Sapphire. Rose was supposed to be the next queen, but she was still young and in-training to become a good queen for the Kingdom of Aquarius.

"Everyone, we've survived through this ordeal together, I thank you for all your perseverance, and I am sincerely sorry for not being able to protect you… Thanks to Drake's aid, our dearest friend and ally, we were able to survive this entire tragedy, those that were given for dead and infected by the curse were also healed and are coming back to the city as we speak."

The people listened to Sapphire in silence, most looked tired and sleepy, but as they ate, the energy came back to them and they were able to slightly smile, relieved the nightmare was over.
