"Alright," Drake nodded. "As for the other Abilities... I’ll try them out later, I don’t want to worry my family."
Drake quickly returned to his family, telling them about the good news of him finally ascending into his Rank fifteen, and attaining two more Ascendancy Rings with new Laws under his control as well.
With this, he had elevated himself even closer to the Ancient Venerables, and with his new Heart and its powers, it seemed that anything was possible.
He took his family on a trip around his Divine Realm after they had lunch (he ended up skipping breakfast), and showed them the new star crystal heart, and also the tree, which the children climbed and ate the fruit, feeling a boost in their draconic powers.
The Immortal Cosmic Dragon Tree seemed to produce a powerful Dragon Fruit that Dragons could eat to gain more Draconic Power, and therefore enhance the power of their Abilities permanently, it was a small boost, but if they ate a lot over time, they would rapidly grow.
Drake also ate a bunch of them, but felt the changes to be nonexistent, perhaps because he was already so strong, however, the tree’s wood, leaves, and syrup were all top-notch materials anyway, so he was planning to feed them to his Soul Gear, collecting a little.
When he visited the Primordial Ascendant Heart Crystal Star, he discovered there were large "overgrowths" across it, which he could freely mine without growing weaker, the crystal produced from this star was of a pristine red, orange, and pink color, translucent and strangely ethereal, and immensely powerful, yet another great addition to his treasures he would use to grow stronger and also help his family.
After that, Drake went to visit Alma and Root, who were at their village within his Divine Realm, and he ended paying them a visit while finding out Alma breastfeeding her new baby, she was a little embarrassed, covering her massive breasts with her dress while her baby stayed beneath it.
"D-Drake! I didn’t expect you to come...!"
"Sorry, is it a bad time? I wanted to talk with you guys."
"Ah, no, no, come in!"
Alma invited him to her home, a giant wooden house made by Root’s powers, which had several rooms for everyone, beds, furniture, and more.
It seemed Root was their walking home, an equivalent of Fuyu for Alma and everyone else.
"Ah, alright, sorry."
Drake walked into the house, as he met with the rest of the family, who had been resting for the few days they’d been here. They quickly invited him to the living room, where they were finally able to talk about their plans.
Drake quickly told them about what he planned to do and also asked them what they wanted to do now. It seemed that Alma’s group was still trying to figure that out.
"With how things are, I’m not really sure... honestly," Alma sighed. "I just want a safe place for my kids... and the people."
"I understand how you feel," Drake nodded. "Aside from my Divine Realm, there’s other places that should be safe and are under my protection. Muspelheim, Jotunheim, and even Aquarius Archipelago. There’s barriers specifically designed to protect the area, and even dungeons that will seal off whenever there’s something too threatening, where you can hide, with food and water until the cataclysm is over."
"I see..." Alma nodded. "I guess there’s no other option... But for now I guess we’ll stay here. We’ll go with you, we’ve already kind of decided that."
"Yeah," Hermes nodded. "You’re going after Oberon, right? To end it all? We’re in."
"Yep," Callon nodded. "This has to end, or we’ll never really have peace... not with him around."
"Yes... we must help."
"We have to avenge those that died by his hands..."
The Psychic twins were prepared for anything as well.
"Indeed, they’ve already made up their minds, as you can see," Root said. "Perhaps on our own it would have been rather unrealistic, all things considered... but with you around, Drake, this impossible thing becomes a possibility."
"I see..." Drake smiled, nodding. "Well, I’m glad that you think that... I’m happy I can give you the hope you need to face your fears. Thank you for joining the group too! Your help and your strength will be really appreciated. In fact, with Hermes around, we may be able to cut the time we have to travel by a lot... Hermes, have you ever traveled to Vanaheim before?"
"I haven’t..." Hermes sighed. "Sorry... I have gone to Midgard, Jotunheim, Alfheim, Niflheim, and briefly visited the Aquarius Archipelago once."
"I see, those are some good places nonetheless," Drake nodded. "For now, you need to grow stronger though, all of you actually. We’ll begin training intensively starting tomorrow, I hope you’ll be ready, I have a special training regime for all of you. We’ll also go make some Soul Gear in the Dragon Realm with Root for all of you... Ah right, Root, I came here for you as well."
"Hm?" Root was confused but quickly learned what Drake meant.
He explained to him that he wanted to meet the Nature Dragon Primordial Mother, Vana, and that Root could create a connection for him to get there.
Well, it wasn’t that he couldn’t go, he needed him so it would be easier to convince her to donate 100 Primordial Essence.
Root seemed to be willing to help, but he was not sure if Vana would happily oblige, although she adopted him as her son, Root, and she had little time to bond together.
"Then we’re off, we’ll return as soon as we can," Root said.
"Alright, let’s go," Drake nodded.
The two opened a green portal to the Realm of Nature Dragons, entering through it and reaching a lush green forest, the singing of birds echoing through it all.
"Oh wow, I haven’t visited this place in a while, it’s really as beautiful as I remember..." Drake said.
"You only visited it once, in fact," Root said.
