"....?" Rudy was baffled by the sudden change in the atmosphere.

'Why is a dragon bowing to me and calling me Lord?' Rudy wondered. 'Perhaps she knows me? Nah, it doesn't seem like it. She is bowing to me as an inferior being, as though she is my… servant or something.'

'Should I play along or ask her questions? I could get some valuable answers from her, which I have been wanting to know. Or… option C!'

Rudy cleared his throat and spoke, "What is the meaning of this?"

"Look at me when you speak!" Rudy ordered.

"I think you don't understand what I am saying," Rudy said and continued, "I asked you to look at me when you speak. You better don't make me repeat myself!"

The dragon girl immediately raised her hand and made eye contact with Rudy. However, she averted her eyes just a second later.

Rudy showed her the orb and asked, "Is this your doing?"

"...." The dragon girl stayed silent and gulped down nervously.

'Yeah, it's definitely her. I don't know why or how, but I just know. Obviously, it's one of my powers, too.'

Rudy frowned his face and asked, "What is the meaning of this?"

"My deepest apologies, My Lord. But it wasn't in my control."

"Proposterus!"

"It's true, My Lord! You know everything and I would never dare to lie in front of you." She looked into Rudy's eyes and said, "I would choose death over that."

'I can do that?' Rudy was impressed by himself.

"Hence, to delay my awakening, they used a forbidden sealing technique and pierced my heart, taking my heart out of my body. They sealed my heart far away, thinking that would keep me in a slumber for a few thousand years more.

However, thanks to you, I am now awake. You removed all the celestial level seals and woke me up from my slumber."

'When did I do that? And celestial levels? Isn't that like… god…ly?'

"When my heart sensed a strong being, it activated the defense mechanism and came to counter you. It simply wanted to get rid of the threat and attacked you without knowing anything. It wasn't on purpose, nor was it meant to anger you," the dragon girl explained everything, but with a quivering voice, as if one wrong word from her mouth would result in her death.

'So it was like a safety mechanism? If the attack wasn't intentional… should I..'

Rudy was conflicted about what to do next. Should he punish the dragon or forgive her? There was also a possibility that she was lying. Rudy had no way to prove that, but somehow he knew she wasn't lying.

Either way, the attack was powerful, which could result in multiple deaths. What if Rudy didn't have powers? Would he have survived that and healed Eric?
