’These ugly cosmic parasites spent countless years gathering and compressing the greatest heroes of an entire era,’ Rudy thought, placing his hands on the metal casing. They consider this their ultimate apocalyptic weapon. I have a much better use for it.’

Rudy accessed his Spatio-Temporal manipulation. He forcefully rewired the internal conduits of the containment vessel and connected them directly into the mundane utility grid of the Orcelona Keep. He fused the divine energy output of twenty-two thousand souls with the castle’s plumbing, floor heating, and decorative lighting systems.

He snapped his fingers to activate the new circuit, and the vessel surged with bright light.

The freezing stone floors of the basement instantly warmed up to a perfect, cozy temperature. Colorful RGB party lights flared to life along the corridor walls. The ultimate weapon of the New World Order was now successfully running the castle’s heated toilet seats, the thermal bathhouse filters, and a makeshift disco room.

"Lu Bela," Rudy commanded. "Open a direct video feed to the Bureau’s mainframe. Broadcast exactly what we are doing."

Lu Bela’s optical sensors flashed. She forced a holographic projection directly into the subterranean hive of the eldritch horrors.

Across the continent, the grotesque, multi-limbed monsters stared at the floating screen. They watched the Overlord of the universe use their eons of meticulous harvesting to keep his bare feet warm on the stone floor. The sheer absurd humiliation of the act completely broke the eldritch hive mind. Their ultimate weapon was nothing more than a luxury thermostat for his bathroom.

A unified, terrifying shriek of absolute rage erupted from the capital. The horrors abandoned all strategic planning and immediately launched their entire mutated army toward Hel.

Rudy looked at the camera projection with a mocking smirk. He turned his back on the monsters and walked upstairs to enjoy his newly heated floors.

Rudy walked back up the grand spiral staircase to the highest level of the Keep. He tapped his earpiece to open a direct channel to Lu Bela.

"The eldritch monsters are launching a full-scale invasion," Rudy stated with a yawn. "Handle the perimeter defenses. I am going to bed. Hit me up if you need my assistance."

"Understood, my Lord," Lu Bela replied. "The Under Blades will exterminate the vanguard."

Rudy pushed open the gold-trimmed doors of the master suite. The fire in the hearth cast warm light across the crimson silk sheets. Alice sat near the center of the massive mattress, clutching a plush blanket against her chest.

She looked up with wide eyes as he approached the foot of the bed.

"Is everything okay outside?" Alice asked.

"Just a minor pest problem," Rudy smiled, unbuttoning his tailored jacket. "Lu Bela is taking care of it."

He tossed his clothes onto a nearby chair and crawled onto the bed beside her. Alice blushed deeply, her gaze tracing the muscular lines of his bare chest. Jessica and Rebecca were resting in their own suites down the hall. For the very first time, Alice had Rudy completely to herself.

’She is completely innocent,’ Rudy thought, looking into her nervous eyes. ’I need to take my time and make her comfortable.’

Rudy reached out to trace his knuckles down her cheek. Then, he crawled onto the mattress beside her and pulled the blanket away. He wanted to make this perfect for her. He leaned in and pressed his lips against her forehead, trailing kisses down to her cheek.

Alice closed her eyes and let out a quiet sigh. She relaxed her shoulders and leaned into his touch.

’She needs time to adjust to me,’ Rudy thought, gently brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. ’I will make her forget everything else.’

He captured her lips in a gentle kiss. He explored her mouth leisurely and tasted her sweetness. Alice wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer. He slid his hands down her back to unfasten her top with practiced ease.

The fabric slipped off her shoulders to expose her bare skin to the warm firelight.

Rudy broke the kiss and trailed his lips down her jawline. He kissed her collarbone, tracing the delicate curve of her neck. Alice arched her back and let out a breathless gasp.
