Chapter 3347 Pearl's Changes

Chapter 3347 Pearl's Changes

Alex walked into the courtyard with quite a bit of anticipation. He hadn't realized that there was much else left to be upgraded for Pearl's body, especially considering he had already grown the ability to get scales.

What had changed from evolving into an Azure Dragon then? Had he grown a long flowing beard? Did he have a bushy tail like that of a dragon? Or had he developed a pronounced snout?

Or had he just grown a new set of horns?

Alex couldn't begin to imagine what could be the case. He hadn't used his spiritual sense to look ahead as well, so with each step, he was growing more and more curious.

The door to the room where Pearl was staying opened, and out came the White Tiger.

Alex paused immediately upon noticing Pearl, his eyes growing wide at the sight of the clearly changed beast.

What used to be a tiger of pure white was no longer one. Pearl had grown stripes.

And it wasn't just any sort of stripes at all. They were entirely bright blue.

Where a regular White Tiger had black stripes, Pearl had azure ones. Only, his looked much thicker than regular stripes, and on top of that, they seemed to appear in a slightly zigzag pattern.

It was as if Alex was seeing the glow of lightning that coursed through Pearl's skin, reflecting through his white fur.

It was incredible.

Even the whites of his eyes had turned somewhat blue, with a bright golden pupil at the center.

Alex was slightly taken aback. Hadn't the pupil previously grown somewhat green because of the mixture of the Azure Dragon's bloodline? How had it reverted to gold now?

The moment Alex considered that question, he immediately realized he was wrong. This was not the result of Pearl improving his bloodline at all. Pearl had long since gained all the changes that came with an evolved bloodline.

No, this was the change that came from fully absorbing the beast core of a Primordial. The same thing that had happened to Scarlet had happened to Pearl as well.

This was the result of Pearl transcending an Origin with the beast core of the Flying Raindragon, the beast that was known entirely as the god of rain and lightning.

Alex moved toward Pearl, his eyes bright with amazement as he ran his hand through Pearl's fur. Nothing had really changed in terms of how it felt, so it was only an aesthetic change.

"Amazing, isn't it?" the Patriarch spoke from behind him. "Who could've known that the child of two Heavenly beasts would have such a striking appearance."

Alex nodded along, not bothering to explain. There was no point in telling anyone else the type of Creation Pearl had made. Even if it was okay to tell the Patriarch, there were other Celestials there who he didn't want to say anything to.

After expressing some surprise at Pearl's current changes, Alex went into the courtyard where he met Bai Jingshen, who had been waiting for them for over a decade now.

Bai Jingshen gave a silent nod, saying nothing else. He likely had a lot to say, but this wasn't the place to speak his mind.

Alex returned a nod and turned toward Shumi. "Did you call your sister yet?"

She shook her head. "I will now."

The White Tiger Patriarch stepped forward. "You two should rest. You've been busy for so long, you might not have had the time to rest."

Alex shook his head immediately. "There's no point," he said. "We'll rest once we're back in the Land of the Blessed Sun."

The four Celestials were taken aback. "Do you wish to return right away?" the Black Tortoise asked.

Alex nodded. "After her senior sister arrives, we will leave."

"Don't you want to stay for some time?" the Nightshade Stork asked. "Have you been around the realm yet? There are many places to visit." "I'm sorry, senior, but I need to leave soon," Alex said. "When I come again in the future, I'll make sure to visit these places."

There was nothing more the Nightshade Stork could say.

"There might be a small problem there though," the Winterborn Dragon said. "I don't think you can return to the Land of the Blessed

Sun just yet."

Alex narrowed his eyes with a confused look. "Why not?" he asked. "Is the teleportation formation not working?"

"It is working," the dragon said. "In fact, it's worked twice already,

which is kind of the problem."

Alex frowned upon understanding the situation. "Do you mean to say that they've overworked the formation, and thus it can't be used in

the next few years?"

The White Tiger explained the situation.

"Once I decided to stay, I had the others return back to the realm. To do so, they ended up forcing the formation to reactivate," the White Tiger said. "If we force them to activate it again in such a small time, the Divine Spirit vein underneath the formation will end up dying." Alex understood that much, not that understanding anything helped him in the slightest. He could likely get the Celestials to force them to

reactivate the formation again, but he didn't wish to make that sort of demand. Instead, he wondered if he could use Ray's help in this by using the energy stored in his Soul Space.

But that energy wasn't like his Yang energy that could activate

anything. It would need to be refitted to work with the formation, which was not something Alex could do. As he thought about the situation, the Winterborn Dragon smiled and spoke up.

"Would you mind a small detour?" he asked.

Alex stopped his thought process and turned toward the dragon. "What do you mean, senior?" he asked.

The dragon smiled. "While the formation to the Land of the Blessed Sun can't be used, we can instead teleport to the Twin Scar Realm.

Would you mind coming along?"
