Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3393: Mixed

Chapter 3393: Mixed

The Patriarch left once Alex arrived at the palace and found his room. He quickly closed the door and settled onto his bed, where he was finally free from all distractions to figure out the new changes he was going through.

As he quickly got rid of his vagrant thoughts, he managed to sink his senses into his body and find the changes that were happening inside his dantian.

With the unique energy he had gotten from the Sun God gone now, his dantian should have been completely empty. And yet, after the event out there, it had changed. His body now had a stream of energy coming into it; its size no larger than a silk thread.

It was so small that Alex couldn’t even make a genuine guess as to how long it would take for him to recover what he had used earlier today. Maybe a few years?

He didn’t have much to start with, so it shouldn’t take that long to recover that amount at the rate he was going. However, to recover what the Sun God first had, that would take decades, if not centuries.

And to fully recover the amount of energy that the Sun God should have spent to create the Heaven or perform the action that led to the destruction of the old world, Alex could only imagine.

As soon as Alex thought of that, his heart sank a bit.

’Oh no! The Sun God.’

His senses immediately pulled away from his dantian, moving back into his Spiritual Sea where he checked upon the spirit where the Dragon Father’s Eye was sealed away.

Alex got closer with a worried look on his face, but upon noticing the spirit, he was relieved. Nothing had changed at all.

The tiny stream of energy that was flowing into him had thankfully not added to the Dragon Father spirit or done anything to remove the seal from around it.

With how little Alex had now, he wasn’t even sure if he could even unseal anything at all, so he wouldn’t have to worry.

’What if I get more later?’ he wondered before quickly getting rid of that thought. He had no plan of undoing the seal, lest he call for his own demise.

’Will I even get more?’

There was no guarantee that this stream was going to continue. It could very well stop at any moment.

’Where am I even getting this energy from? The Heaven?’ he thought curiously. The energy didn’t exist outside of him. It seemed to simply be gathered directly into his body.

"I probably can’t sense it properly," Alex told himself, as he saw no other option.

Once again, he pulled his senses out and sent them back into his dantian to observe the energy again, to see how big it would grow and if he could find out anything more about it.

As he focused back on the energy, he realized something that he had overlooked the other two times.

"Is that an aura?"

The Sun God’s power was fully unique, with no aura that he recognized in the slightest. But now, there was something there. He wasn’t fully certain, but he could swear the energy held an aura of Fire and Yang within it.

Which made sense if it were to belong to the Sun God, but was it the Sun God’s energy? There definitely was no aura he could recognize the previous time.

On top of that, there was something else that was completely different now.

Instead of the unique energy remaining on its own to the side inside his dantian, it was now beginning to mix with his Qi. It wasn’t a perfectly homogeneous mixture, as he could feel each aspect of Qi and the unique energy on its own, but it was blending together.

Alex had no idea what that meant, though, since he knew nothing about the unique energy at all. Why had the previous one not mixed? Was it too strong? Was it too pure? Was it too different?

What was different about this one compared to the last one? Why did this one have an aura when the last one didn’t?

Questions ran around in Alex’s head for a while as he slowly gathered his thoughts.

The questions were so difficult that Alex was nearly about to give up, but then he remembered something important.

"Right! Ray might know the answers."

The remnant of the Three-Legged Crow, a Primordial, was within his Soul Space, and here he was, going crazy trying to find all the answers himself.

The fiery bird appeared before Alex in a single summon.

"How may I help you, master?" Ray asked, bowing his head toward him.

Outside of the Soul Space, Ray wasn’t as strong without the energy from the Primordials. His strength here was no greater than that of a regular Divinity, so he could likely never be brought out for a serious battle.

However, for questions alone, it was fine.

Alex quickly relayed everything that had happened to him and explained everything in detail.

After listening to it all, Ray fell into thought.

"I do not have the full answer," he said. "But I do know a little, which I hope can be of help."

Alex grew focused and leaned in closer. "What is it?"

"It has to do with the death of the Dragon Father and the Phoenix Mother."

Alex’s eyes narrowed. "Okay. How?"

"The two True Gods held power that was theirs and theirs alone," Ray said. "They made use of it however they could. However, in their death, the power that they would usually accumulate had nowhere to go. So, when they made Heaven, they made it so that Heaven could make use of that power."

"But the Heaven isn’t perfect, and it is no god. As such, it cannot fully use all of that power, and it trickles down into those who can make use of it."

"I believe you have become one such individual."
