Chapter 3468: Alex’s Prophecies
Chapter 3468: Alex’s Prophecies
"Your prophecy by the Divination God?"
Bladedance’s tone wasn’t the least bit gentle when she spoke.
Alex nodded. "In the northern continent of the 3rd Major Spirit Realm, there is a series of wells created by the Divination God. I wasn’t aware of this at the start, but after hearing about it from Bai Jingshen, I learned it to be the case."
"3rd Major Spirit Realm?" the Wine God’s eyes flashed with surprise upon hearing the name. "The Divination God visited such a dangerous location?"
"Dangerous?" Bladedance quickly asked. "What’s dangerous about— ah, I nearly forgot. Godkiller."
"He went there nearly 7 thousand years ago now and hasn’t left it just yet, as far as the seers are aware," the Wine God said.
"He’s already gone," Bladedance said. "Didn’t the Sky God send her people there to gather the lost treasures?"
"Uhh... did she?"
The old man appeared confused by this information, as though he hadn’t heard about it just yet.
"Did Skyheaven keep a tight lip about it?" Bladedance asked, amused, before slowly nodding to herself. "That makes sense. There should still be a decent amount of items still lost. You can’t have all the cults and fanatics learning where it had gone. They’ll raze the entire world trying to find them all."
The Wine God nodded fervently. "That they will. It’s a good thing then that this information is not readily available."
Bladedance shifted toward Alex. "These wells... you received your prophecies from there?" she asked.
Alex nodded. "I went to them twice. The first time around, the well gave me my prophecies, albeit incredibly vague ones. The second time around, I spoke to a man directly, who explained the purpose of the well and gave me five more specific prophecies. I now believe that voice to belong to the Divination God."
Bladedance smirked. "That sounds interesting. What were the prophecies?"
"I’ll start with the second time around, since those were the simpler prophecies," Alex said, recalling the second time. "The first one was this."
"She will protect you. Give her the weapon."
Alex stared directly into Bladedance’s eyes. "I believe that to be about you, master."
Bladedance’s eyes widened slightly. "My sword."
"I would’ve died if not for you regaining your senses after I gave you your Creation back," Alex explained.
"And you were already foretold this? Frightening," she said, as her face turned slightly sour. "That means you could’ve given me my senses back for ages and didn’t."
"I... I didn’t know the prophecy was talking about you," Alex said with a straight face. "If I knew what the prophecy was about from the start, we wouldn’t be here discussing this."
Bladedance paused and nodded. "Go on, what are the other ones?"
Alex closed his eyes, remembering. "Blood of the Kin. You must take it. That is the only way."
A subtle understanding of what this one meant passed through him as well. "This one is done as well. I had to take blood from Pearl’s kin to help him evolve."
Alex also realized that it likely referred to him turning Pearl’s father into a Blood Beast, who then ended up sacrificing himself to help Pearl’s soul stabilize during the evolution process. Without that, there would’ve been no success.
"That is strangely obvious as well," Bladedance said.
The Wine God seemed curious, but he kept his mouth shut for the moment, simply listening and memorizing.
"The third one speaks of the Void, or so I believe," Alex said. "Lost from the world, they cannot survive for long there, where the sun doesn’t shine. Take them away."
Bladedance’s eyes shone. "Those people you saved," she said, speaking no more as she understood the importance of keeping the uniqueness of Alex’s Soul Space hidden.
"Who are these people?" the Wine God asked.
"A group of people who found themselves dragged into the Void because of some Voidgate malfunction," Bladedance said.
Alex remembered that he hadn’t actually told her about how those people had gotten there. She had no clue that the Alchemy God had been responsible for that event, all because he had been searching for the Book of Boundless Healing—the book that was now in his possession.
"We need a place to settle them down. You’ve found such a place, haven’t you?" Bladedance continued the conversation.
"Ah, you did ask for a town. I put my son in charge of that. He should have found one already. If not, he should be close to doing it," the Wine God said.
"There’s no need to rush. We still have a few years before we leave for the other realm," Bladedance said and turned toward Alex. "Continue on. What are the other ones?"
Alex thought through the remaining ones, his eyes slowly narrowing as he thought about something he hadn’t considered until now.
"One of them speaks of where I will meet him, the Divination God," Alex said. Since he hadn’t thought about the prophecies until now in such detail, he hadn’t made the connection that the person he would be meeting was the Divination God.
He frowned slightly, wondering how he couldn’t have just met the man back in the lower realm.
"Really?" Bladedance asked. "And the last one?"
Alex recalled the final one.
"Ruby, Emerald, Amber, and Sapphire. Are there 3 Jewels or 4? It is not the reunion you thought it would be, but it is the most important one."
"The Three Jewel World?" the Wine God asked.
"Sounds like it," Bladedance said. "It also used to be called the Four Jewel World in the past, didn’t it? Because of its serene blue waters."
The Wine God nodded.
"The Three Jewel World?" Alex asked in surprise. "What does it have to do with the named jewels?"
"The Three Jewel World has 3 continents: the Ruby Continent, the Emerald Continent, and the Amber Continent—all based on the prevalent plant life in each of the continents. And the ocean surrounding them is called the Sapphire Ocean," Bladedance answered.
"I never knew that," Alex said.
The Wine God gave a stiff nod. "And the Emerald Continent is where the Godkiller’s Tomb is located."
