Chapter 3514 Alex's Report

Chapter 3514 Alex's Report

While the assembly ended and the ones gathered in the hall slowly began to depart, those on the balcony above remained seated. Their conversations continued as there was much for them to talk about

still.

The most important of which appeared to be their curiosity on whether or not it was wise to send another ship to the far reaches of the sky to find the Moon Rabbit.

"It's not worth it," the Beast God said. "We would have to spend so much of what little we have to make it happen, and I doubt anyone is willing to go through the entire ordeal again, especially given the spatial anomaly that surrounds that area."

"That's not even the main issue," the Wine God said. "We don't even know for a fact where it is. Even if it was worth getting the corpse of the Primordial, how exactly are we supposed to know where that location is? The world is constantly moving. Is it on the other side of the sun even, perhaps?"

The Wine God's words put a damper on their enthusiasm. It was unlikely that they had completely given up on the idea of getting the corpse, but at the very least, they would think of it very carefully, as they would have to spend so much to make it all happen again.

Bladedance turned toward Alex, her voice barely a whisper.

"Could you get it?" she asked.

"The corpse?" Alex asked with narrowed eyes. "Because of the spatial anomaly?"

Since the anomaly was spatial in nature, it would make sense that someone capable of manipulating space would have an easy time up there.

"It's a thousand years away, Master."

"No, you could take a shortcut," she explained. "Through the Void."

Alex could hardly think of what to say. "Last time we took the shortcut, we lost over a millennium in a matter of days. I'm not sure I'm willing to do that again, Master."

Bladedance considered his words before slowly nodding. It made sense to her that he wouldn't be as enthusiastic about the corpse of a Primordial as everyone else, given what else he had already received from Primordials.

"Besides," Alex continued, "traveling through the Void is not so easy. I can't tell where I'm going inside with the melting and merging space and time aura. And more importantly, I travel through my

understanding of gravity inside to find a general direction. The moon is just so far away that I could never sense its gravity."

Bladedance didn't say anything more.

While the discussion continued, the fourteen crew members of the Cerulean Sparrow made their way to the balcony, where they greeted everyone and added to the conversation that was happening.

After a while, they prompted Alex to explain his half of the story as to what exactly had happened.

Alex stood up and reported everything he had done from the moment he was notified of the situation to the moment when he threw the ship into the massive opening into the Void. He kept parts of it to himself, of course. He couldn't just go talking about his Undying Physique or his Half-God energy.

But everything else, he said without much concealment of the facts.

"How did you make such a large tear in space?" one of the ancestors asked.

"Using something I acquired by chance in the Land of the Blessed Sun," Alex answered. "A one-time-use power I had."

"And you used it for that?" the same man asked.

Alex nodded. "It was that or let a world come to near destruction," he said. "I think my choice was obvious when you consider that."

The ancestor nodded as he came to an understanding.

Whether they were fully convinced of everything Alex had told them or not wasn't clear. But what was clear was that even if they had any doubts, they weren't going to come out and speak on it.

Bladedance's presence made that quite clear.

After listening to Alex's story, the few ancestors were satisfied with their time there and left. Most of the others there left as well, keeping just a few behind.

Among those that remained were the gods, a few of their retinue, Alex, and a few members of the crew.

"You guys did well," the Beast God told Xue Yu'er. "I know many of them have hidden their anger from you today and may show it someday, but don't let that stop you."

Xue Yu'er gave a small smile. "We did betray everyone's expectations of us. We were supposed to go further away," she said. "I keep thinking about what we could have done instead. If not for the Moon Rabbit, we might have noticed the anomaly a lot sooner and saved the ship. Even if it halted our progress momentarily, we wouldn't have been in such trouble.""

"Don't beat yourself over it," the Wine God said. "Just be happy that you managed to live. We lost not a single soul during what could have legitimately turned out to a world-ending catastrophe."

Even the gods hadn't realized until much later how dire the situation on the ship had been. If not for Alex taking it into the Void, the destructive force of every broken Divine-grade spirit stone erupting at once would have left a scar on the world that would likely worsen

with time.

"I suppose so," Xue Yu'er said, before turning toward Alex. "Thank you, junior brother. Not just for saving the people on the ship, but

everyone else as well."

Alex gave a small smile. "I did what I had to."

The Wine God watched the two, realizing something.

"Young Dawnblade, you come from the 3rd Major Spirit World too,

don't you?" he asked.

"Yes," Alex said before catching the man's words. His eyes turned

toward Xue Yu'er.

Xue Yu'er's eyes were slightly wide as well. "You come from my lower realm as well?" she asked in surprise.

"Yes," Alex said slowly, surprised to meet someone from his realm who

was already a Divinity.

"Oh, wow," Xue Yu'er said in excitement. "Finally, someone other than me has ascended from that lower realm."
