Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3605 Sun Fire: Learned

Chapter 3605 Sun Fire: Learned

Alex barely spent time on the two sword techniques after returning to his cultivation sessions. He would take time out of his busy schedule every two to three months to train his techniques for a few days, but other than that, his focus was entirely on the Sun Fire.

Over the course of the next decade, he got closer and closer to learning it, with most of his time spent on just that.

He spread some of his time through other things he had to do, such as the pill recipes he had to come up with, the Pill Bugs he needed to take care of, or taking some breaks to interact with his family.

During one of those breaks, he learned that the small tournament that his father and brother-in-law went to every few decades was set to occur in some city in the west in just a few more months, but because Alex was at such an important stage, he could not go with them at all.

"That's fine. This isn't important anyway. And that tournament keeps taking place all the time. You can go to the next one," Graham said the day they were to leave.

Over the past many years, Graham's body had been constantly pill poisoned, and as a result, his cultivation speed had gotten much better as well. Very soon, he would break through to the Immortal realm with his Qi as well.

From what Alex understood, despite his father already being an Immortal through his body cultivation, he would still have to go through an Immortal tribulation which would include the 9 tribulation lightnings and the Dao lightnings.

However, those lightning bolts would not account for his body cultivation, which would severely reduce their damage, so no one was worried about him being hurt during it at all.

After Graham and Long Huan left, Alex cultivated for some more time while inching closer and closer to learning everything. And then finally, nearly two and a half decades after arriving at the Sky God's realm, he learned Sun Fire.

The moment Alex gained the full understanding of Sun Fire, he felt a subtle change occur within him, as though his appetite had been satiated. From what Alex understood, he had learned the most he could regarding fire as he had learned the strongest fire of all time.

Lifting his palm before him, Alex caused the Sun Fire to come alive. Yellow flames danced in his palm, bathing the area in a subtle glow of the same color. The flame burned calmly as though it had not a care in the world at all. And then, in a flash, it vanished according to Alex's will.

Alex took a moment to feel around the room. He had brought the Sun Fire out for just a couple of seconds and yet the temperature of the room had managed to increase by a small amount. He could only smile at the change, which told him just how frighteningly strong his fire was.

"I need to see how that will fare with my alchemy," Alex thought. Hopefully, the heat of the fire would not cause any issues. For that, he needed to test it by making a few pills.

Since he already needed to make some pills in preparation for the Unity test he was going to start soon, he had a few pills ready to be made. He already had the ingredients for some of them, so he could try them right away and go get the other ingredients once he was done.

Alex brought out Memory and lit up the Sun Fire below her. "How is the fire? Do you think it might be an issue?" he asked her.

"It's hot, but I can handle it," Memory said in a tone that gave him a vague impression of a shrug coming from her.

Hearing that, Alex nodded and began making pills. Despite the drastic change in fire, it wasn't such a big change that Alex could end up failing to make pills the way he wanted.

The only time it caused a bit of an issue was toward the start when he realized that the Sun Fire heated up very quickly compared to Alex's fire beforehand. At the same time, the temperature dropped much more slowly as well.

That meant that Alex had to use less effort to improve the temperature, but also had to use more effort to reduce it. The change wasn't enough to trip Alex up in the slightest, so all of the pills he made came out just the way he wanted them to.

Once he was done with the pills, he placed them aside and messaged Ronron about leaving to get some more ingredients from outside.

"Just give me the list, father. I will get the ingredients for you," Ronron sent him back in a message, but Alex didn't want that.

"I want to go out and visit the other cities myself. Just let your master know that I want to leave. I don't know if I need her permission or not, but it's better if I ask her for it."

Ronron agreed in the end and returned with a response quite quickly.

"I've been allowed to leave with you in a week's time. We will have senior Greensoul accompany us, so we can head over to Firebrand City in the south. Would that be okay?" Ronron asked.

Alex had no issues, so he accepted it. He let the others know to see if they wanted to leave, but none seemed excited about a small trip to the other cities.

Even Battlesage, who was always excited by these ideas, was so focused on his cultivation sessions that he didn't think he had any time to waste.

Seeing that, Alex realized that it would be a father-daughter trip to the city. He was more than happy about it.

"Since there's a week left, let me deal with everything else before I leave," Alex thought and began going through the Pill Bugs to continue the fastening of the current batch.
