Every Vicious Woman Needs a Loyal Man

Chapter 28.1

EVWNALM ch 28.1

Opening the first page of the photo album of ‘Time’.

The little baby in the photo sucked its thumb, looked at the camera, and smiled in a silly manner, showing a pair of big black shining eyes.

The second one was a little boy holding a just-turned 1-year-old baby. With crafty-looking eyes, his big mouth bit onto half of the baby’s face. The third picture was a baby with a face full of slobber, tears running down, and slapping the boy with its small meat claw.

Turning over the first page, the two-year-old baby girl, was resting in the arms of a seven-year-old boy, wiping her tears and snot on the other party’s clothes. The little boy was disgusted and his whole face changed.

Lou Yao Yao saw till here, snorted with a ‘pu chi’ sound and then continued to look at the photos behind.

Still the same boy, seven years old, carrying a blue bag to go to school, and the little girl was sitting on the ground, holding his leg and not letting him go. The boy had an agonised look on his face, and was anxious till his tears almost fell.

After that, there were a lot of photos of the two playing around. The photographer taking the photos was very good at capturing the scenes. In each photo, the bitter face of the little boy was in close-up, and Lou Yao Yao was laughing in amusement.

Turning over a few more pages, this photo was a bit dark. The little girl who had gotten older was wearing a pink pointed hat, and was blowing a candle on a birthday cake. There was a boy in the corner of the photo who also had his mouth perked to blow out the candle. Afterwards, the second photo was the scene where the little girl glared at the boy with her big eyes in anger. It was not hard to guess that she did not blow out the candles. It was followed by a series of photos documenting the process, from the little girl putting her hand on the cake, then to her grabbing the cream and smearing it on the boy, and then it was a mess. The two, along with some other children, started a cake fight. The last photo, was the scene of all the children who attended the birthday party, extending their chubby hands covered with cream towards the camera. The closest hand was almost touching the camera lens. It was conceivable that the person who took the picture would eventually be drowned in cream.

Flipping to here, Lou Yao Yao’s hand paused, and her heart was mixed with happiness and sorrow. This photo was taken by none other than her grandfather. She didn’t even know that her grandfather had taken so many photos and even kept them so well. Before he passed away, her grandfather feared that Lou Yao Yao was still young and would lose the photos, so gave this album to Fang Xilei, and instructed her to take out this photo album after Lou Yao Yao got married.

This album full of photos, was all of grandfather’s love, Lou Yao Yao was dazed for a while. She blinked her slightly sour eyes, and flipped to the next page.

A photo album as thick as a palm, recorded the growth of Lou Yao Yao’s first thirteen years. She shook her feet as she laid on Qin Zhi’s back. She was causing a scene, sitting on the ground, and Qin Zhi looked helplessly at her by the side. She sat on the back seat of the bicycle and scratched Qin Zhi’s waist, and the bicycle twisted and staggered while moving forward. A group of children set off firecrackers together in the New Year, and she was chased by a spinning gyro fireworks till she almost cried. The young Qin Zhi was very bad, during mealtimes when grandfather picked out the garlic and put it on the table, she thought it was for her to eat, so she grabbed it and put it in her mouth. Qin Zhi saw it, and mischievously picked out all of the garlic and placed them in her bowl. Her small rice bowl was full of white garlic.

Lou Yao Yao wrinkled her nose, no wonder she now wanted to vomit when she eats garlic, all because of Qin Zhi this bastard!

At the end, there were a lot of pictures of Lou Yao Yao crying. Every photo had Qin Zhi inside. As a baby, when she cried, Qin Zhi also had a face of wanting to cry. When she was an infant, she dragged him unreasonably to not let him go, and he had a face of irritation but also helplessness towards her. When she was in her childhood years, he anxiously helped her to wipe her tears, with very coarse movements, and both of her eyes were rubbed red. Finally, at the age of thirteen, they stood under the old pagoda tree at grandfather’s house, with the fallen white Sophora flowers covering the ground. Her tears fell silently as he took her into his arms and gently patted her back, his expression was of pampering and helplessness.

This photo album not only recorded the growth of Lou Yao Yao, but also indirectly recorded the growth of Qin Zhi and his change in mentality towards Lou Yao Yao.

No wonder grandfather said to give it to her when she got married. It turned out that grandfather had long expected the ending, but unfortunately, a variable cropped up in the midst.

This was not the first time she saw this album, but every time she saw it, she would feel sad. Lou Yao Yao wiped away her tears, closed the album, and flipped opened another album. Influenced by that photo album, after their marriage, Lou Yao Yao and Qin Zhi dug out all of their photos together, and took a lot more photos and put them in.
