Evil MC's NTR Harem

Chapter 1265 Request

Chapter 1265: Chapter 1265 Request

An hour later, Ross’s group had made camp for the night.

The darkness of the forest surrounded them from every direction, yet unlike earlier in the day, there was a strange sense of peace in the air.

No beasts came to disturb them.

The creatures that roamed this land had already learned a painful lesson.

Countless powerful monsters had died at the hands of Ross and his men.

Although the beasts possessed no true intelligence, their instincts were sharp.

Every fiber of their being warned them that approaching this camp would mean certain death.

As a result, the predators that usually ruled the forest remained hidden in the darkness, watching from afar but never daring to come closer.

The camp itself was lively.

Dozens of fires had been lit throughout the area, illuminating the night and driving away the cold.

Men and women worked together preparing food while children ran around laughing and playing games.

The horrors of the day seemed distant for the moment.

Large pots sat above the flames as delicious food cooked inside.

The smell spread throughout the camp and caused many stomachs to rumble.

“We’re eating well tonight.”

“After everything that happened today, we deserve it.”

“I thought I was going to die out there.”

Many people nodded in agreement.

The expedition earlier had been terrifying.

Thousands had originally left the safe zone full of confidence and hope.

By the time they returned, only a fraction remained. Many had lost friends, relatives, and companions.

Yet despite the tragedy, the survivors had gained something priceless.

Hope.

Ross Oakley had once again proven that he was different from everyone else.

Whenever disaster struck, he somehow found a way to overcome it.

His existence alone gave people the courage to keep moving forward.

Soon dinner began. Everyone lined up with bowls and plates in hand.

There was steaming rice, fresh vegetables, thick soup, and large portions of roasted meat.

Nobody needed to worry about going hungry tonight. The people ate happily.

Some sat around campfires sharing stories. Others laughed and joked with friends.

Families gathered together and enjoyed a rare moment of peace.

Even the children who had spent most of the day frightened and crying were now smiling.

Ross sat among his wives and children while watching the scene.

His women occasionally glanced at him with admiration.

No matter how many miracles Ross performed, they never seemed to get used to it.

To them, he was their protector.

Their leader.

Their pillar of support.

One of his wives leaned against his shoulder.

“Everyone looks much happier now,” she said softly.

Ross nodded.

“They’ve earned a little peace.”

His gaze swept across the camp.

More than two thousand people were depending on him.

That responsibility would have crushed an ordinary man.

Ross, however, appeared completely relaxed. If anything, he looked bored.

The challenges of this world simply weren’t enough to threaten him.

Time passed. The fires crackled. The stars shined brightly overhead.

A cool breeze drifted through the forest. Eventually, dinner came to an end.

Many people stretched their bodies after eating.

Others began laying out blankets and preparing sleeping arrangements.

The younger children were already rubbing their eyes sleepily.

“Mom, I’m tired.”

“Can we sleep now?”

“Carry me.”

Parents smiled and picked up their children. Seeing this, one of Ross’s wives approached him.

She was carrying one of their younger children in her arms.

The little one was already half asleep.

“Do you want me to tuck our babies in for sleep, Ross?” she asked.

Ross shook his head.

“No need for that.”

His answer surprised her.

She blinked in confusion.

“No need?”

Ross slowly stood up from his seat. His eyes turned toward the sky above.

The countless stars reflected within his pupils. A faint smile appeared on his face.

“Tonight,” Ross said calmly, “we won’t be sleeping in this cold forest.”

The people nearby immediately heard his words. Many of them looked over.

Some appeared confused. Others were curious. A few even thought they had misheard him.

“If we’re not sleeping here, where are we sleeping?”

“Don’t tell me we’re marching again.”

“It’s already night.”

Questions quickly spread through the camp. Ross ignored them all.

Instead, he continued staring into the heavens as though waiting for something.

Minutes passed.

The atmosphere gradually became strange. People began following his gaze.

“What exactly is he looking at?”

“I don’t know.”

“Maybe another monster is coming.”

“If a monster was coming, Ross wouldn’t be smiling.”

The crowd whispered among themselves. Even Ross’s wives became curious.

They knew that expression.

Whenever Ross wore that smile, something unbelievable was usually about to happen.

Ten minutes passed.

Then twenty.

Suddenly…

A distant light appeared in the sky.

At first it looked like a star.

Then it grew larger.

And larger.

And larger.

The entire camp fell silent.

Thousands of eyes stared upward.

“What is that?”

“Do you see it too?”

“It’s moving!”

The object rapidly descended from the heavens.

The closer it came, the more stunned everyone became.

Many people stood up.

Others dropped their bowls.

Some even rubbed their eyes, thinking they were dreaming.

The massive object continued descending toward them.

Ross merely folded his arms and smiled.

“Right on time,” he said.

The people looked between Ross and the mysterious object in the sky.

Their hearts began pounding.

Whatever was arriving tonight, it was clearly something far beyond their imagination.

It was a flying boat.

The enormous vessel descended from the heavens, casting a massive shadow over the camp below.

Its size was so great that it blocked out a portion of the moonlight.

Ancient-looking runes glowed along its wooden hull while spiritual energy radiated from every inch of its structure.

The boat slowly came to a stop above the camp, hovering silently in midair.

Everyone stared upward in shock.

“What is that?”

“A flying ship?”

“Am I dreaming?”

Many people rubbed their eyes, unable to believe what they were seeing. Then suddenly…

Bang!

A figure shot out from the flying boat and landed heavily before Ross.

The impact created a small crater in the ground. The man immediately dropped to his knees.

His entire body trembled as he lowered his head deeply.

No one could miss the fear and reverence in his expression.

“Your servant is here, Master!” the man shouted.

His voice echoed throughout the silent campsite.

“Please command me! I am willing to walk through fire and cross mountains for you! If Master has enemies, I shall fight them without hesitation! If Master orders me to die, I shall not even frown!”

The man kept his head lowered, not daring to look directly at Ross. Sweat covered his forehead.
