Chapter 380: Provocation

The gentleman-looking Devil’s words were correct.

Selecting the five Greater Devils who would participate in the upcoming mission was, in fact, quite simple.

There was no reason to make the process too complicated. All they had to do was fight and decide the strongest five among them.

"You guys can divide the rest of the spots among you."

The person’s tone was lazy and not too loud, but their words revealed an undisguised arrogance.

As for who her companion was? Of course, it was Alpha.

Liora continued lying back on the chair and didn’t even rise to her feet, pretending that nothing had happened.

Just when someone was itching to take action, Assira suddenly broke the silence.

"I have no problem. Since Your Excellency wants one extra spot, it’s fine.", she took a step back and said with her smile.

Her swift decision confused the other Greater Devils.

However, most people who had reached this level were intelligent.

Seeing her give in, they guessed that Liora’s strength was far higher than they imagined.

"I also agree. We can fight for the remaining three spots.", an Indestructible Soul Devil said, and the others of the same stage echoed their words.

Soon, only three of the True Spirit stage remained undecided.

Two of them kept sizing up Liora and seemed to see something, causing their wills to waver.

However, there was one among them who stared at Liora with fighting intent, completely unafraid of her silent momentum.

"Do you wish to challenge me?", Liora noticed his actions and questioned him, shaking her hand provocatively.

"You’re not worthy. Step back."

"Once a fight begins, life and death will be decided."

Her arrogant words made her seem even more elusive in the eyes of the audience. However, the person to whom these words were addressed didn’t care.

"What’s the point of saying this? Which Greater Devil has not arisen from a mountain of bloody corpses?"

"Do you think that you can intimidate me with just a couple of sentences?", the opponent argued.

Without speaking any further, his demonic energy surged, and his hand reached behind his back, wanting to grab the weapon he was carrying.

Unfortunately, someone moved faster than him.

Liora did not step back but instead took the initiative to attack before him.

Part of her recently-cultivated energy, Demonforce, was consumed, and she activated one of her many abilities.

It was not Eclipse, Snake of Time, or even the Spear of Divine Punishment.

Instead, a large number of elements gathered in front of her as she utilized her Elemental Affinity.

Fire, Wind, Earth, Water.

The elements in a radius of several kilometers poured in her direction and soon took form within the hall.

The fire elements turned into a blazing volcano that looked about to erupt. The wind elements transformed into a tornado, while the earth gathered into collapsing mountains and the water into a raging tsunami.

In the blink of an eye, the entire building became the center of several natural disasters.
